If Baelin can get his own film, Greg should have his as well.
For it to work as well as Baelin did, I think Greg would need to be stuck only able to repeat "HellO adventurer, and welcome to the town of Honeywood" for the whole movie.

Unfortunately they couldn't get the code to work. She never seemed to be available for some reason and worse yet, she caused Greg to disappear randomly.

Always find it funny how the patch notes say they erased Greg’s memory, but instead erased all the other NPC’s memories and not Greg’s. Poor Greg.

Such an amazing character and series. Greg's wife Greta gets me every time.
There really is a good amount of subtlety to these, and continuity, especially with dialogue skips, Baradun seemingly being aware of whats going on, but not caring because he's a very powerful and important npc, so just being a dick, Greg understanding immediately what it means seeing an escort version of him following a player and so on.
From a humble farmer selling Garlics into a cleric summoning gods..

Greg and Britt had such a sweet marriage, a shame that it ended with an update.

A movie quest to rescue Greta the Garlic Farmer with Greg in tow throwing his garlic grenades
This guy deserves his own movie. Need to get Greta back and his baby. To add in. I would pitch the story to be along the lines. Greta reappears but with no memory. Greg and Greta goes on a journey to get her memories back. At journeys end. They found out that the original Greta was not a true NPC but a controlled player from the developers that fell in love with Greg. Knowing that wont work. That person creates a new self aware NPC Greta as a love letter to Greg and to always have someone similar to the original and the real person. Starting a new romantic journey. But thats my pitch. Could go into an arc if not movie. Edit: Most people have that one person that got away. But I always wondered if another version of me in another Universe got that chance to be with that person I always loved. It would put a closure to the what if and put me more at peace knowing that version of me was able to fulfill what could have been. Same for the Original Greta who could not fulfill that role so created another for her closure and Gregs happiness.
I can’t believe they bugged the part of the update that was supposed to wipe his memory. I bet they also made the spiders look *more* like puppies.

VLDL guys! Make this happen! We need it! Tin foil Ben must be involved in it finding a way for them to get out of the game so they go after the devs!
Gregg needs a new patch update that reinstates his wife and child...but the new patch gives a quest too where Greta needs to be saved from a fate worse than death but once they get there the child has been sold to slavers so that gives a secondary or optional quest to rescue the child giving Gregg more angst if the player doesn't rescue them.
That's kinda a tragic love story... Made me tear up a little.

I rememeber discovering VLDL in the midst of the lockdown, specifically the Epic NPC man series. Just hearing the Honeywood background music is so nostalgic, and almost synonymous with Greg at this point ❤️
I think he is the best actor here.
I know what happens to people who say otherwise.
All of them are great. Ben is personally my favorite. Alan is my second followed VERY closely by Rowan.

Re-watching the Not skipping episode hearing djeoph’s name. Man Djeoph was an idea long before I met him in vldl D&D gotta love their attention to detail

And then everything becomes clear, the Greg who travels as an assistant is dumber, since he is a clone of the real conscious Greg who stands near his house
I like how much you repeat the same quest stuff in these videos. I have no idea what the song about the dragons of Smaugenrock is about, but I like seeing it every time it shows up. One day, we will find out, when some adventurer decides not to skip.
Greg is everyone's first love; for that, he deserves to have Greta back.
