When did 12-14 become midsize, size 12 is a standard size, god help us ladies who are beyond a size 12, Marilyn Monroe was a 12 and we all know what men thought of mm.
When Marilyn Monroe was a 12 the sizes were teeny, she had a 23.5 inch waist, mine is 30-31 inches, so very different, midsize has lots of different definitions everywhere you look, however I do feel I fit in this bracket, I say I’m a size 12-14, but I’m never a 12 in jeans/trousers, I’m always a 14 (or sometimes a 16 depending on the shop). Midsize allows me to connect with others who maybe a similar size to hopefully inspire them 🩷
