Now youre back, you have to publish 3 videos a week on YT, 5 videos a day on tiktok & 12 posts on Instagram and you might get given a free pair of gloves made by Chinese children.
Nice to see you back. Your videos are never boring.

I think the "What If" idea is a very good one to have. I've found out the hard way that my bones at 46 broke rather than soaked up the impact of a very slow off. I am now the same age as you and I doubt it won't have got better. I like to switch to lane 3, overtake, switch back to lane 1 and then drop back to let them past. After a few loops they either get the idea or I have a giggle.
    Hope you enjoy your break!

Hey there! Now I think it's Saturday 😂 You do you, tell em to stuff their schedules 😉 My son has been driving the Megabus up there and the mid lane hoggers drive him nuts. He has to "undertake" them cos he can't use the right hand lane. Exciting about the trip but look, as long as you have your passport, tickets and money paraphernalia the rest doesn't matter. Hotels have most stuff, you can live in the dressing gown and I'm told you can wear the same pair of pants for a week before they weld on 🤣🤣🤣 Have a good one and I'll still be watching your back catalogue tomorrow 😊

It worked on my Tracer so I made a wind deflector (plastic) and attached it to the mirror stem from the mirror head to the handlebar. It has worked perfectly and no wind noise. Great to see a vid from you Phil, hahaha... all we all do is talk rubbish on our vids 😀
You could maybe try a little bit of tape over the switch to see if that cuts the wind noise a bit? It could just be the aerodynamics of the bike.
Ha... I always undertake middle lane hoggers, almost make a point of doing so as they are so annoying.... so many folk don't use the left lane, it is almost like having your own lane sometimes, which I am always happy to take advantage of.
It is so nice now the sun is gradually showing its face a bit more.
Enjoy NY mate, I've never been to the USA.
I make sure I do plenty of riding without the cameras, but I also use the "need" to make a video as a damn fine excuse to go play bikes... but we all have to do the things we do for fun the way that provides the most fun, so if that means we get one vid a month, or even year from you, that is dandy if it has allowed you to get more enjoyment from two wheels.

Glad to see you back! It’s nice to have you do an unscripted video. You do your videos your way and only when you want to. We will watch them all. The RUclips treadmill can be quite depressing and draining, so, don’t do it. If doing something makes you unhappy, then don’t do it anymore. I only make and post videos on my channel as and when I feel up to it, and when health concerns make it possible. It’s very easy to fall into the trap of feeling that “I’ve just got to post something this week because I don’t want to lose subscribers!”. Of course, most people stay subscribed between videos because they are following umpteen other channels too, so there’s always something to enjoy between your posts. Anyway, hope you are keeping well and warm and I will be watching your next video whenever it drops!

As I suggested before, might be worth trying a screen extender, same as I had fitted to the KTM, to your taller screen?!
Yep, middle lane hoggers, annoying! IMO, if there is room to pass (safely) on the left, there's room for them to move over!
Hi-viz jackets? I agree, wearing a Hi-Viz (polite) jacket and white lid?! Probably a wanna be, or likes to look like a copper.
I know a lot of AMI, advanced riders wear Hi-Viz, out of choice, and others, for safety reasons, fair enough.
But, to wear a white (often Shuburth) lid, fit reflective tape to your panniers, etc. Hmm......🤔

This is a special event indeed. This has been missing in my life: some WSMV entertaining b#ll#cks about buffeting around the helmet. Thanks for sharing this before your jet-setting.
At the age of 51, you no longer consider yourself invincible, and you know how much it hurts and that it takes longer for you to recover. Not many 50-year-old MotoGP riders, are there? They're all young, d#mb and full of ... stuff!?
Good grumping about middle lane hoggers and people not driving properly or using roundabouts correctly. There's not definition of "undertaking" in the HC, but if you do pass a vehicle on the left hand side, you could be done for driving without due care and attention. Also, be careful, as you're passing someone driving incompetently on a side they wouldn't be expecting you (not that they have any b....y attention and anticipation anyway). I'd rather do it quickly and giving it a very wide berth (whichever side) than slowly - don't want to be alongside them.
Beware of black ice when under 4C
