Definitely a subsume to consider when going endurance for frames that cant take heavy fire, or any fire at all.

Killing the entire room has gotten boring, although it is effective.. Range and duration is amazing if you're not pressed for kills..

I wish they would remove impact, electric and heat from the available elements on the augment mod. It can't be effectively used as a dps as enemies who are stunned don't attack for a few seconds, and sometimes resets their ai so they also have to stare at the decoy for an extra second before deciding to fire at it.

You need more range
Remove radiation proc as well. With rad the enemy busy shooting each other and not the decoy.
I think for the past few updates they’ve been giving us more flexibility for Warframes through companions, nourish, and archon mods. CC would be a great addition to this flexibility but as of right now most CC abilities don’t affect overguard enemies so maybe Lokis decoy is the first to many CC abilities that could get changes for the better. Who knows

Hope so. Warframe game play came from "you need team coordination to succeed" to "press one button every 30 seconds and, for your own ego sake, better play solo". From MMO to singleplayer grind. And imho Warframe is not a good singleplayer game.
Anyway, I didn't know that breech surge no longer blinds eximus. At least silence still works, so I'm going to try decoy on Banshee.
Limbo’s stasis also technically works but indirectly by freezing projectiles from eximus units. But regardless hope they consider some anti overguard perks to make cc more viable against said units.
Does Octavia’s subsume not work on overguard units anymore? Pretty sure that was the best cc before the patch.
@@klutz8019 I’m not entirely certain but Decoy is probably the better subsume now for drawing aggro.
It's sooooooo good on Stayanax's 2 slot.. I used his other 2 augs, and have no issues with survival since decoy has more aggro than his 3.. Pretty chill play with his 1 pulling in mobs, decoy on 2, shield n evergy regen on 3, and overguard on 4 + slash procs to kill.. strength has less use w the added procs from decoy.. You also have guns if u need to clear the group.. It's definitely a very useful crowd control skill, especially if you can group up mobs..

Oh and bastille still effects overguard because DE doesnt know about the interaction it has with overguard i guess. Enemies with overguard are slowed as if they have a cold proc on them while inside bastille, and it still strips their armor.
Now that is unique 🤔 lets just hope they dont find out lol
Damn i didnt know it slowed eximus down, i used vauban to hit levelcap all the time before the breach surge nerf. I guess now ill replace breach surge with decoy and use vauban till they figure it out and nerf him.

A mag augment that jams enemy weapons? Nope! overguard apparently extends to their weapons too!
same with frosts 4, if anything more CC abilities having secondary effects just for overguard wouldnt be a bad solution, though i like the idea of a reduced duration and/or diminishing returns on CC, when eximus get to high levels and start spawning more often that's when CC would be most useful in this game if it were actually possible.
Exceptions for things like demolishers/acolytes & CC's that actually help group/attract enemies ofc
I absolutely love this ability, been using it with limbo as well and it absolutely removes any and all issues I have.
Edit: small edit here use it with savior decoy over his 4 and use his 1-3 and you become an unkillable rift boi if you screw up against eximus.

Conspiracy theory: They nerfed cc to make decoy specifically and other aggro drawing abilities more appealing since aggro drawing isn’t negated by overguard. Also, I might be overreaching but I predict if loki’s passive got reworked it would make it so his abilities can bypass ability resistant enemies including helminth abilities. Either that and/or they’ll add a bandaid mod that allows warframes to cc enemies with overguard

I truly hope CC get´s love. Like The eximus, even bosses need some sort of impact on them and status effects too.
It´s okay if they use status clear, like some acolytes do, or on Phases and such. But just straight immunity on it is too much ,and doesn´t feel good.
Slowing, disarming eximus was some type of support. But now you really can´t play certain things effectively. Like rhino could be a support frame, but now he is just there for his 3 and 2 pretty much. Radial blind went from pretty useless to completely useless in some unique builds, and on and on.
I really don´t know what took them over, like they went from not giving a shit and giving us the most broken things in the world, to let´s just nerf that, that and maybe that too.
That one hotfix just was so weird man.
💯% agree, sadly not the first time we are seeing stuff like this, first time was nullifiers 🫠, you guys are too OP and warframes are like gods with the right builds, here, have It, a character that completely negates all of the work you putted on making the builds for your abilities

I truly don't believe CC is dead. Yes, the Healer and Guardian Eximus can be annoying, but the other 90% of enemies still get CC'd just fine. I'm not so inconvenienced at these CC changes as they are now, but the fact that they weren't here when the Angels of the Zarman update launched with the Eximus rework 2 years ago.
my decoy doesn't last the whole whole "45" seconds
They need to make defensive two different aways the originals way which should be available in first few planets and second should be hordes of enemies that last for only 5 mins rather than 5 waves... Cause the way they're set up is that each wave has certain numbers of enemies you have to kill. So it can bring more diversity into the gamemodes.

Nothing like the if you're talking about damage decoy, now for the second its also different, resonator is a "charm" while decoy is like a "body" with increased threat level
I put it on lavos to help spread more status and it’s ok

Decoy have the highest threat of all ability. Only below you continuously fire a weapon. If you use a silent weapon enemy will ignore you unless you are in between decoy and the enemy.
About the HP. Saryn molt HP is base on how many damage it takes within 3s after spawn. Decoy is based on all enemy HP in range when cast.
Would I helminth it instead of molt?
Proly depends on your playstyle and frame 🤔, im doing It for some next caps with frames
@@ArthussOfficial I need to play with Loki. I’ve had other augments and frames that I’ve been playing with since the update. My first thought though, was that this still wouldn’t be better than molt with the speed buff it also gives.
It just needs a little more aggro 😅
to bad you need str to make this useful, since Loki prefer duration and Safeguard switch exist.
