    I'm waiting for a nice day to do my entire suspension coilovers and bushings

      @@1BlueGhost how does the car handle after this install ?

    • @1BlueGhost
      @1BlueGhost  3 года назад +1

      I thought it was better. Probably because of the new bushes in the arms.

    I just don't understand how people who live in cold places can just ignore the rust. Like, take five with wire wheel and a couple cans of undercoat. You already have it on the lift.

    • @1BlueGhost

      Rust is normal isn’t it 😱

    Iv got a set of these arms and brace to fit, i xray inspected the arms for my own quality control, looking for fractures, voids, inclusions etc and surprisingly they were perfect. As said, not much movement on these, machining is good quality on the arms and brace. The beaks tie bar is shoddy, rough finishing, sharp edges not filed back etc.

    • @1BlueGhost
      @1BlueGhost  Год назад

      Interesting to know you X-ray’d them 😎

    I am just researching how to increase my caster. I will first put the SuperPro SPF2308K bushing in then later the K-MAC Honda 331216-3L (oem springs) stock height. The 331416-3L is for aftermarket coilovers. The FK8 has 8 degrees of positive caster & is renowned as a great handling FWD on Macpherson Strut front end.

    • @1BlueGhost
      @1BlueGhost  3 года назад

      Can you also increase using adjustable top mounts?

      looks like the k-mac only has 3° positive caster which is not great. areamotorsport.co.uk/product/caster-top-mounts-ep3-civic-type-r-dc5-type-r/ is better like what you found on ebay. the best bushing is areamotorsport.co.uk/product/hardrace-spherical-front-lower-arm-bushes-caster-ep3dc5-type-r/

    You not going to fit the skunk2 ultra inlet manifold? I didn’t understand in the end are you in two minds to fit it?

    • @1BlueGhost
      @1BlueGhost  4 года назад

      Still fitting it yes, just haven’t started yet. I need a starter motor and knock sensor as well as those are giving me issues so once I’ve got those I will be doing it. Maybe next week.

    • @darknight508
      @darknight508 4 года назад

      How can you tell if you need a knock sensor? Eml light on? I have the same car around same mileage so was wondering if I need to change it to?

    • @1BlueGhost
      @1BlueGhost  4 года назад

      Yeah I get a fault code which comes back as the knock sensor. It’s either the wiring or the sensor. It’s underneath the inlet manifold that’s why I haven’t looked at it yet. Will do all the jobs at the same time.

      @@1BlueGhost Had same code on mine and when looked at ( can get to from underside) the sensor had split in two at a seal so dapped a bit of glue on edge (careful not too much so not to stick to sensor probe or connector plug ) and stuck it back together been fine since . Worth a try instead of replacing

      @@1BlueGhost And how about the quality of the product? Any problem in this regard, I am telling you because having that price may be a replica of the authentic ASR that only the central plate is worth about $ 400, my question is, have you had any problems with the control arms, any bending or something? similar? all this I ask you why I buy one just like yours and I'm afraid to wear it for the reason that it may leave and it could cost me an accident ... that's why I asked for your opinion 😉 thanks for your time and for your videos are very helpful, greetings

      Just FYI, I bought a Beaks lower tie bar from ebay for my EK when I upgraded my rear. After fixing all I lowered the car to the ground and torqued every nut and the metal arm that holds the Beaks bar snapped before reaching the torque spec. So be mindful when buying cheap stuff.

    I'd be pretty worried running around with what is essentially fake parts with no quality control/standards check. Looks the bussines tho and i hope nothing snaps or bends whilst you're on it bud. Stay safe.

      Although I haven’t taken it on a track it’s been ok so far with back road abuse. I know what you mean however, although I do wonder if most parts are not made in the same place just without the price tag? Will see how they last.
