What's amazing is that he brakes for T1 with the right foot because he has to shift; then taking over to trailbrake with the left foot...being able to brake with two legs is quite amazing !(also in a car he doesn't know well)
I'm an emotional guy and i love to see an owner enjoying his time as copilot, you can see how much he's enjoying but most important to me, how he's recording the lap on his mind, watching every corner, following the next one, moving his head as he is driving, fuck i love to see owners more than just being a copilot, driving the car on their minds while Misha drives the hell out of the car. FUCKING AMAZING.

The insane rpm's, the amazing driving by Misha, and the facial expressions by the owner. It had me laughing like a school girl. I love being subscribed to Misha for the talent, but the no bull approach to the channel, it's great, genuine, content. The passion is evident every time. I go through a lot of anxiety and depression in my life, cars and everything involved with them has been a passion of mine to try to escape it just for a little while, thank you Misha for existing, and to do what you do. I've probably watched Misha do 50-60 laps in different cars but this was easily the most intense. The EF Honda is such an underrated car, as proved here.
@@e30connoisseurmaybe it's the cable clutch versus the models that followed with hydraulic and eventually the b series got overshadowed by the bigger engine. For me the 88 to 00 is what a Civic is in my mind. I still find it hard to explain why they're so fun even by today's standards.

This is fantastic driving Misha , the heel and toe ,camera placement , the unique sound of k series at 8000rpm, remind me of the old best motoring vids with Motoharu Kurosawa , Keichi Tsuchiya , and Max Orido.
I was never a huge fan of Hondas because of the types of owners used to drive them. Seeing them on the track with people who know how to drive really being the cars spirit alive.
Honda makes some GREAT out of the box cars and engines. EP3 chassis is incredible. I own an EP3, albeit an Si, but with some quality coilovers, and accomodating mods to the tie rods, ball joints, sway bar, and tires... It's a completely amazing experience. Spirited driving, on ramps (and off ramps sometimes), and nice roads will make your day.
Partially agree Underrated by Americans since we never got the Type R, but they absolutely RIP everywhere else. It's basically a more nimble DC5R. It's a unit for sure
INSANE! The left foot transition from clutch to brake on 10:05 while brake is pressed, love it. It took me 50% more time to watch this lap, cause I went back so many times to re-enjoy some sections!

Love the EP owners smile throughout. He’s not nervous a bit! Love the mid 2000 Honda analog clusters. Some of the best looking I’ve seen, super race and “stout” looking, nice to see them on the screen. Misha: what did you think of the high-column mount shifter on the EP? It was a big point of contention and convos within the Honda community, especially for daily driving. Im betting you loved it on the track, however!
As some others have stated, this gave me so many old school Touge vibes!!! I could feel Luka's goosebumps at the end myself. What an incredible drive between you and Robin, and absolutely one of my favorite laps of all time. 👏

But also seeing you properly focused, and giving it ALL of what that EP3 had to offer,now knowing what to expect with the locking brakes, and seeing your lightning fast gear changes and rev matching, i knew you wanted to do your best to keep up with that Civic as your 'team mate'. I think this was my fav video. This was incredible to watch wow. Watching the lead car fish tail, body roll. Full sending through corners and jumps. The ABS locking up and the sounds of the engine as you hit rev limiter. Incredible.

Absolute monsters! The both of them! That was neck and neck the entire lap! What an incredible rival! Such a close competitor, just back and forth absolute gold! Mishka this one was by far my favorite even more so than any exotic you’ve driven!
The older one having the better power-to-weight ratio: While I'd like to see the onboard from that, him driving the EP3 was the wiser choice for entertainment value. His higher skill gave an edge and I'd wager the older is faster. Had he driven the older, it wouldn't have been a very close competition. Great match, great video.
Seen quite a few videos on this channel now and this was one of the most enjoyable to watch on the tv. Such a raw little car. The amount of effort that goes into drive that car at those speeds looked so rewarding. Smiles for miles 👌

The screaming roar of the engine, the super quick upshifting, the absolutely clinical and crisp rev-matched downshifts, the fact that there were so few cars getting in the way and you could really attack the circuit and explore the limits. Misha’s mastery of left foot braking is very impressive. In a FWD car that’s been setup to rotate, LFB can help the car to maintain stability by scrubbing speed while on throttle to keep weight over the rear end to avoid spinning. Contrary to popular belief, driving a well setup FWD car (tuned to rotate) is more difficult than most other drivetrains. This video really demonstrates his skill level with various drivetrains!
This is a great testament to why people love the high strung Hondas! Everything is dramatic and fun. Danny DC2 was racing an EP3 and he found that when braking hard, the car was more stable when he used engine braking and did not rev match. Also, he had trouble with rear toe coming out of alignment. I wonder about those things. I'm a wishbone Honda guy. I haven't driven mine in a long time, but this is inspiring. Awesome lap. I'd love to see a video from inside the EF as well.

My Ef hatch makes just about 400whp, but the suspension and brakes aren't nearly as sorted as this ones.

Misha: what did you think of the high-column mount shifter on the EP? It was a big point of contention and convos within the Honda community, especially for daily driving. Im betting you loved it on the track, however!

Man, i'm sooooo glad you had a second chance at ragging that EP3 round the ring, as at first i thought i had already seen that vid,to then realising it was another video. But also seeing you properly focused, and giving it ALL of what that EP3 had to offer,now knowing what to expect with the locking brakes, and seeing your lightning fast gear changes and rev matching, i knew you wanted to do your best to keep up with that Civic as your 'team mate'. Videos like THIS one,are TRULY special!!!

I think this was my fav video. This was incredible to watch wow. Watching the lead car fish tail, body roll. Full sending through corners and jumps. The ABS locking up and the sounds of the engine as you hit rev limiter. Incredible.

Absolute monsters! The both of them! That was neck and neck the entire lap! What an incredible rival! Such a close competitor, just back and forth absolute gold! Mishka this one was by far my favorite even more so than any exotic you’ve driven!
The older one having the better power-to-weight ratio: While I'd like to see the onboard from that, him driving the EP3 was the wiser choice for entertainment value. His higher skill gave an edge and I'd wager the older is faster. Had he driven the older, it wouldn't have been a very close competition. Great match, great video.

This is one of the most exhilarating car and track videos I've ever watched. The screaming roar of the engine, the super quick upshifting, the absolutely clinical and crisp rev-matched downshifts, the fact that there were so few cars getting in the way and you could really attack the circuit and explore the limits. Absolutely amazing!!! My favorite video on your channel and one of the best car videos I've ever watched period.

Misha’s mastery of left foot braking is very impressive. In a FWD car that’s been setup to rotate, LFB can help the car to maintain stability by scrubbing speed while on throttle to keep weight over the rear end to avoid spinning. Contrary to popular belief, driving a well setup FWD car (tuned to rotate) is more difficult than most other drivetrains. This video really demonstrates his skill level with various drivetrains!

This is a great testament to why people love the high strung Hondas! Everything is dramatic and fun. Danny DC2 was racing an EP3 and he found that when braking hard, the car was more stable when he used engine braking and did not rev match. Also, he had trouble with rear toe coming out of alignment. I wonder about those things. I'm a wishbone Honda guy. I haven't driven mine in a long time, but this is inspiring. Awesome lap. I'd love to see a video from inside the EF as well.
