I love, love, love how that black wooden desk chair looked in front of your black desk!!! They look like they were meant to go together!! Also, I really liked how you went back through everything you bought, at the end of your video!! Helped me visualize your haul so much!

It's perfect together ..love that paint off the seat , it's ashame to cover it up but you could but a chair pad on it to break up the black that you said you weren't sure you liked..its great together tho.

You are just SO very blessed to have all these grandbabies!! My 3 children have been grown, married and gone from the nest for over 10 years and there are still no grandbabies. I ACHE for grandchildren!
Wow, what a haul. I paid $75.00 for a chair like yours years ago to go with a vintage roll top and was glad to find it. Love the black on black. 👍💕

Julie, I bought a couple of small wooden boxes too, before Christmas. I pained them both and then went to Michael's and bought two little decorative letters. One N and one E and wood glued to the top of the boxes. I have 2 grandsons. In Ezras I put little mini cars and of course some treats too. And for Noah, since he loves to color and draw, I put crayons and stamps in his...along with treats. I filled both boxes up as much as l could and gave them to the them the day after Christmas. Even my daughter in law loved them. Now they each have their own little treasure boxes! Also, l have the same Halloween decoration that your daughter bought. Got mine at a goodwill store too.🤗

Julie, You hit the jackpot! Love all the treasures you found. The backpack purse, just perfect! And that deer :). My husband found me a deer cookie jar at the bins and I love it so much! I really liked how you styled the star pan tins in the clear jar. The chair looked great, maybe find you a thin pad to sit on if your at the desk for awhile. The older I get the more I like a pad in a wood chair. Keep at it your are a real treasure hunter. Miss Elizabeth is learning how to be a treasure hunter from her fugal Mama :). All your girls are so sweet! Stay your sweet self, and stay safe.

My 2 cents worth...I love the black wooden chair and I agree, too much black, so maybe a white lumbar pillow could break up all the black. My favorite spot (when you showed it at first) was in the kitchen! Do you have a kitchen desk? Your grandmother's vanity would look so pretty with a small armless upholstered chair. I love when you show your styling of your finds. You find the deals! Good for you. :)

The black chair looks great with the black desk.
If you think its too dark together,add a nice chair pad to give a pop of colour.could even drape a shawl at the back of the chair .
As for the rolling pin with the holes on the handle,you could tie a ribbon or jute string.
Use it to drape kitchen towel or dried herbs.tge herbs will give off nice fragrance and it's readily accessible when you need herbs for cooking👍😊

My husband's work office was getting all new computer chairs so they said anybody who wanted a computer chair could come and get it. When I went into his office building there were 80 or 90 computer chairs lining the hallways free for the picking. I ended up getting both of my sons a computer chair and two of his friends got computer chairs

Love your finds in today's video.. Your grandchildren are all so precious. I use to helpy my mom pick up eggs when I was a little girl. We had RI. I. Reds. Love the brown eggs the best. I don't know if there's any difference in taste. It probably goes back to my childhoid. Love watching your channel also the family channel. Love how you styled your home.

I really like the wooden desk chair in you school room, it looks great with your desk! The little star pans look cute in the glass jar...they tie in nicely with the colander with the stars on it.
Julie...your daughters and their hubbys deserve huge kudos. All of your grandchildren are perfectly portable. They are well behaved and your daughters are so loving toward them. For your brown computer chair, there is a leather repair kit on Amazon. I thrifted a luggage carrying case that needed repairs that I will use the kit on.

The Myra bag I looked up on Amazon. It is Aztec canvas purse that retails for $61.00. I love their cancas bags and the more cowhide it has the more expensive they are.

I had not heard of Myra bags. Looked them up. On amazon they go from $40 on up. Most were in $55 range. Great buy. My local Goodwill has most purses for $7 on up. I would snatched up the blue tub with rope handles if good price. Not been able to find them around here in a couple years. Great deal on the Wilton star pans. Ours has pans/mold similar for $3 or more each.
I knew even before you pulled out the tag that it was a Myra bag. They're made in India and we sell them at our store. Prices ranging from $24.99 to $74.99 and some higher. From the looks of the size you have its about a $45 to $50 bag. Seriously nice score for $8.99 especially being brand new!!😊

The fix for the leather desk chair is to buy upholstery fabric as close to same color and make a "pillow" cover about down or further to first indention.We do this for recliners because oil from hair ruins your chair first.

Idea... the ladies could thrift store shop for the guys.... and see what they come up with for Valentine's day... or kids for fathers/mothers day... and do a gift exchange video on family channel... just an idea... i thought of when i saw you all together in the store.. or kids shopping for grandparents, etc... so many fun ways to thrift and refurbish thrift or garage sale finds for our ouwn homes or for gifts. I love watching to see what you find. Could you measure your wexford glass canisters ,(the cut glass ones) i have 2 and trying to figure out which one I'm missing.

Julie I have 3 daughters and my first grandchild was a girl she’s 12 today and sweetest child ever . But when I had a grandson my whole world changed and now I 3 granddaughter and 3 grandsons . All 3 boys are the best snugglers

Your prices are so much lower than our Goodwills in Phoenix. The purse for $2.99 is a great price. The wooden office chair is very nice and looks great at your desk. We have three cats, and they like the corrugated cardboard scratcher boxes that lay flat on the floor. The double wide size from PetSmart. They like to lay on it and scratch. It’s saved our furniture!

I have 7 rolling pins in my kitchen. I love them . I have my mothers . I decorate totally vintage and antique. I’m sure I have told you before, ( family heirlooms ) in every room and thrifted.

I'm so happy for ya'll,I haven't been finding to many things in my thrifting area lately but winter is hit and miss,your grandbabies are beautiful and it's nice to see them learning at a young age how to save money by going to thrift stores,I went with my meemaw every weekend until she passed at 90,I'll never forget how much fun we had.

That's amazing for 6.99. I bought a wood desk chair similar at my goodwill. It had mermaids on it and painted green. Had to get for my daughter,she needed for her desk and her house is the mermaid cottage, so of course it was perfect. Bur...you ready for the price difference? 50.00!! Keep the wooden desk chair because of your scratching cats. With wooden chairs its easier to cover up cats scratchers than the leather.

The tapestry covered "round" stool with the black iron legs would look ok with the vintage vanity until you can find s rectangular one...just temporary..the vintage look needs to be complimented

Oh, Julie...I love those deep ironstone bowls with the ridges! (15 minute mark) It was only $.99...they are hard to find.

You are making me want to go to all my thrift stores an Goodwill stores in and around my area. There is a spray that you can purchase and spray to stop cats from scratching your furniture. I had to do it to my furniture. My cat never messed with our furniture until my son and his fiancé picked up a kitten in the middle of the the road and brought it home.
Soxs was extremely jealous of Kit; that is what we named the new kitten. About six months later, a neighbor called and said he had an abandoned orange kitten with his eyes still closed, and wandering if it was mine. I told him it was not mine. Mine are males and are house cats. I informed him to check with the neighbor across the road from him. She cares for stray cats.
She told him, that I would be the one who would be more able to care for the tiny kitten. She didn’t know of any of her cats with kittens. I took the little solid orange kitten and fed him with a bottle. We named him Beastie. He got the name because he was always hissing at us, and acting like he was a Big BAD CAT. Now, that he is full grown, he still hissing at certain things. He will only let me pet and love on him.
Our cat hisses at us too! We have no idea why lol.
