Over / Under on how many of these GM builds in 2024? At 20,000 I might still take the under.
No CarPlay means NO SALE from me. It is idiotic for them to remove it.
Loved this car but can’t justify the high price tag. For contrast, you can get a Tesla model Y for almost $20,000 less and it’s a superior choice since Tesla has been in the EV World ahead of Chevy
You’re not wrong. Tesla is really disrupting their own market with all the price drops. Will be interesting to see how these legacy manufacturers respond
You made a huge mistake. Apple Carplay and Android Auto are NOT supported. GM made the idiotic decision to eliminate support for Apple Carplay & Android Auto in all of their new EVs starting in 2024. I won't even consider buying a car that doesn't support Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Chevy needs to option a real Bolt EUV SS- be the first to bring back the hot hatch! I really like the rear seat space in my EUV, and don’t think I will ever go back to less than 40” rear legroom no matter what the storage space is.

Does the lane centering work well? On our chevy bolt it does only "ping-pong" between line ... very annoying, on our ioniq 5 it does keep the car centered between the line and work very well. How about the blazer ev?
It tends to sway. Nowhere near as good as Hyundais system. But super cruise is closer to that system

Around 60k, supposedly around 6.0 seconds. Under 4 for the SS
That shift column/stick reminds me of what my parents had on their cars from 20-30 years ago, just a bit smoother. We've come full circle!
The Lyric is better for almost the same price. The price is a kick to the nuts for something that doesnt excels at anything in particular.

No way I would buy one of these first rounds of Chevy EV. These things will be problem childs and they're not cheap. They're already fumbling so bad that vehicles are hitting showroom floors and they cant even tell you the numbers on it. Imagine if you had a problem with it. The dealer would probably hang up on you if you call them.
Chevy EVs are garbage. So many Bolt EVs had problems with just 1,000 miles on them. Had to spend $4 grand to fix my bolt with just 48k miles. They are so shitty. Buy the new Prius you'll thank me later.
I think they’ve taken away the Bose audio system and the sunroof
The RWD RS initial release gets the 8 speaker Bose. Sunroof is an option. The AWD is actually a little cheaper than the RWD.
The Blazer and Prologue make no sense to me. A long hood with no frunk, a trunk that's very small for its' class. It makes no sense. Go buy an ID4 or Equinox.
If it last 30,000 miles i would be surprised! Cheap car is u get what u pay for.. that sound is horrible and if u keep your car for 5yrs. Forget this!@
funny that the traverse we have has 288hp as well...just not that torque, and torque is where the fun is

Forever chevy for me. Have a 2016 camaro and cant wait till the chevy malibu is revealed. I know it will disappoint. The blazer EV is nice tho 👌🏾

If it takes hours to fully charge from absolute 0 to 100 instead of 7 minutes, the same time it takes me to fully fuel my Jaguar XJl and if it doesn't have a range of 500 plus miles like my jag, you can keep it. Back to the drawing board...
Wow another SUV Electric , one among many many more that all auto makers are making! Beside in your review ALWAYS include the charging times, rate and maps integration of chargers!

Great walkaround thank you. I am very interested in this thank you for the review- with the 4 different trim levels and different battery choices- Chevy really needs a matrix of all trims and battery options- Yes see your dealer for more info I get it but I only see the dealer when i want to buy LOL) other than that the EVs allow legacy makers to flip the script- and this does! Fit and finish is probably excellent, infotainment has caught up with the rest of the world- not too big not too small and pricing is probably competitive (I guess eligible for the $7500 rebate?) looks fantastic IMO will have it on my short list- thanks again.

The 2LE and RS models have started being delivered to dealers. The SS is the one that is not ready yet since that is going to be coming out in 2024. So you will only see 2LE and RS reviews until the SS gets sent out next year. That is how he has gotten the EV on the streets.

I was initially was waiting for the SS, but when GM announced no Apply CarPlay (or Android Auto), I did not want it anymore.
Yes, he says it has Apple Car Play and Android Auto, but it doesn't have it. GM makes reference to their "own" system.

When you said the rearview camera is down by the license plate, are you certain that's not the cam for the 360 degree view? Figured the rearview mirror is like the one on the Chevy Bolt EUV where it's camera-based and at the same height as the mirror it's replacing.....
There are two cameras down there.
Nope, for the Blazer the rearview mirror camera is down by the backup camera.
No CarPlay or android auto
You said 190kw DC fast charge and you are wrong. The RS AWD can only take 150kw.
Everything posted by every source says 190kWh peak for the Blazer EV.
The Blazer is 190, the Equinox will be 150.

320 is the long range.

no apple car play is really unfortunate. I had assumed it would come with it, in the least wired.
GM axed it on all new EVs. Sucks.
how fast is the 0-60?
Not exactly sure on the RS… probably somewhere in the 6ish range. SS supposed to be 4.0 🤷🏻♂️
Great video thanks for that, Im not looking to get the blazer but Im on the list for equinox EV ( here in Canada) but up here no dealers have any blazers yet . So getting into the equinox probably wont be anytime soon like they said for fall release of 2rs trim (the trim I want). UAW strike doesnt help either.
I’m right there with you. I’m on the list for an Equinox too. I love the Blazer but couldn’t afford it.
We’ll see if I get it anytime close to when my Bolt lease is up 🤪

After the Chevy Bolt fires I refuse to drive an EV named the Chevy Blazer 🔥 🤪 Front looks very similar to the EUV which I have with SC.

It looks pretty impressive but I'm not a fan of that rear end styling, The ICE version is even worse.
Very fair.
Love the size, but not having a frunk for such a large vehicle just isnt sitting well with my soul. Big guys like myself need frunk for gym shoes and takeout. Fisker is putting 6 seats and a frunk in their Pear EV. Id much rather wait for the Pear, which will come in under this price and have more range, 380miles.
The crossover/SUV segment is too hot to launch an EV lacking features. I was expecting a super large almost F150 lightening frunk from this Blazer. Id have to pass. Nice interior and exterior design, but its lacking too much.
Entire video was shot so poorly. Too close to everything and shaking
Went handheld. Harder than it seems Just wanted to get something out.

Love the look and colors of this... I wish that there was a non-EV (ICE) Blazer that had the same look...

Made in mx by people who accept $4hr on average because that's not bad in mx for auto line workers.
So un like the uaw workers shunning $30+hr without factoring in profit sharing pensions and healthcare. Claiming its poverty wages. 😁

@@ronlaverdiere The strike is costing the automobile manufacturerers millions. The UAW is slowly turning the screws on them and hopefully this will end soon and the workers will start cranking out cars again. Another poster said that the Blazer is made in Mexico. I know the Equinox is going to be built there but was not sure about the Blazer.
No they haven’t. Most plants are still open.
Nice, but prices similar to Tesla Model Y Performance. So you have to ask yourself would you buy this or a model y?
Btw I like the Bolt EUV gear shift better than being on the steering wheel like this Blazer.
I agree on both counts.
I like the Bolt shifter, but it takes up too much real-estate. I would have preferred a longer centre console armrest.
