I think she could have detailed the scenes when you mentioned they were not shown enough for how important they are for the main character. The book is classified as adult, and has also very graphic sex scenes, so she could have detailed that without having problems publishing the book.
It'll be interesting to see what I think when I finally sit down to read this, because all of the other reviews I've seen for what appears to be this trainwreck of a book talk about how horrible and meandering and pointless the "plot" of this book is. And reading the blurb on the back, I largely agree so far. I've read the back a couple of times, and I couldn't pin down what the actual story is. I don't mind subplots, I don't mind parallel plots, but there has to be a main one going on throughout the story. Well, we'll see when I read it. (Yes, I've watched spoiler-filled reviews, because there are plenty of cases where I don't care about spoilers.)
So... If I'm coming into this for f/f romance I'll be disappointed? I'm honestly sick of m/f romance even if it's well developed, so if that's the only strong point... I dunno?
I did enjoy the writingstyle to be honest. The short punshy sentences pulled me in quickly, and when I had to pick up my kids and had a few minutes to wait I picked up the book (E-book) and still enjoyed it. But I agree with the Rora - Gwen love story seemed so trying but failing. (And I'm also Bi) Half the book is Rora and Gwen. And yet I was rooting for Bastian, I was so exited when she seemed to choose him... but no... she was in it for both. It kind of disapointing to me... But I did love every conversation Gwen had with anyone, Meg did an awesome job on her dialoges. The eating disorder thing, did she already know he had an disorder? I could be wrong but didn't she learn that later?
I promise I was thinking the same thing, like why is being a Cyborg illegal. Did I miss some hint? And why aren’t the only people being told about the Circus are people with terminal illnesses or injuries or criminals. The focus of the performers should be to sneak around and tell those kinds of people.

For someone who has a writing advice RUclips. Her writing is not too sophisticated even if the grammar was fine. Her character was pretty flat too.
I have learnt so much by listening to your talk about the Cyborg Tinkerer I knew you were an English literature master's student thank you
I know is not in the subject.
But I need to day that this green in your hair is just adorable.
This was very helpful, thanks
In your opinion, what is the difference between a fairytale retelling and fairytale inspired?

Thanks a lot.
Can you review my book, Ivar:Blood and Steel?
Where are you selling it?
This is why you don't use your friends or family as beta readers because they will not be honest enough🤷♀️
Nice singing voice 👍
