Interesting product. I have used Aphogee on my mom's hair. It's really good. I use a Cholesterol treatment from Dark & Lovely. It's a very mild protein treatment and suitable for people with relaxed hair or for low-porous hair.
You reminded me of how long it's been since I've done one in my hair. I have not done one all 2021! I need to get on it! I usually just use mayo and olive oil because with my million kids, I cna't keep buying Aphogee... lol! Old school and still works!
I’ve just started doing protein treatments twice a month( rice water) and it’s been working well for me. I still have dye in my hair from a year ago and high porosity hair so I can use lots of protein
@@Razorempress lol I wish! But I think the rice water is working. I usually do the rice water treatment with a deep conditioner on top and leave it on for 15 mins.
Hi 👋🏾razor, I use protein every other week due to having very fine hair. I am currently loving the curl origin marula & quinoa damage control reparative conditioner along with the marula & quinoa restorative leave in😍 I have yet to try aphogee & I've heard great things about botanika the mender🤗
Girl I did a protein treatment a few years ago and it damaged my hair. I just use shampoo and conditioner, water and hair grease and it is working for me.
Im going to try the green beauty protein cuz i heard it’s milder than aphogee. Im not pressed cuz i don’t think i need it.. I’m only 1 year 9 months post my second big chop, so i don’t think i need it YET. The top section of your hair that was shorter is really starting to blend into the body of your hair. N the length 🤤 THE LENGTH! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
this was not the best idea. you should use a hand held blow dryer if you don't want to sit under a dryer. using this hooded bonnet not only allows your hair to attach to it but it is also somewhat difficult to clean out after the treatment. If you don't want to hold the hand dryer and your hair is too big to sit under the regular dryer, sitting in the sun can be really helpful (if it's hot and sunny) or asking someone to help dry your hair with some heat will do too. (you need to use heat for aphogee to work properly)
Hey! ❤️☺️

Curl Jukie s Repair Me is a great treatment as well.
Loved the video! Always afraid of straight up protein because I’m protein sensitive, but loving your results!
Thank you boo!☺️

Interesting! Happy that works for you😉.
@@Razorempress Yesss! I am so grateful 🥳🥳
What up Razor! Protein treatments are essential.
Hey boo! I’m hanging in there and yes they are!
You should try an ayurvedic natural hair mask for a protein treatment, works great too!
Nice! What ingredients in particular?
@@Razorempress Henna is really good
@@Razorempress Amla, Brahmi and Fenugreek is great as well
I haven’t had a protein treatment but I might try it out !

That’s good that you know your hair. I noticed that about the front as well!. I’m happy about it 😊
Have you ever tried rice water as a protein treatment?
I have , didn’t enjoy it.
I’ve never had a protein treatment. I have low porosity hair so I think I read that protein treatments would be bad for my hair.
My hair is also low porosity 😉.
No, we don’t need much protein, but doing a protein treatment like twice a year isn’t bad
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I make a diy using gelatin sheets.
Haven’t heard of those before 🤔
@@Razorempress It's like the gelatin that comes in packets, but someone gave me sheets. 3-4 sheets is about the equivalent of one packet.
Hey my VI Queen 🥰
Hey sweetness!!😘
Where’s your water bottle from?
I just put it in the description box for yah.
Is all of this good with color treated hair?
Yes.

Hey babes ☺️
Yes but never a formal protein treatment..I keep using products with orientation in it . Lol
I do monthly protein treatment and my breakage has decreased ...
Good to hear!!
Thursday!!!!
Nice!!
I was scared for you when you were moving your hair after the product dried. 😬😳 Please be careful... We don't want that beautiful hair to break off.
True that!
That sticky ass product is no joke😂😭 i always get scare when i rake the product through😭
