    Daniel a lot of this energy is survival energy not leaving the body the fight or flight mode it’s not great long term. It’s amazing that people sleep more with less sleep anxiety but I would question what somatic practices they can be doing to help regulate the nervous system more so sleep can come - I notice a pattern of people having these big life events or stressors which tipped them over the edge and then the sleep issues start. I used to sleep fine even when I was stressed then one day too much happened when I already was feeling with a lot in life as you can imagine the sleep went out the window. Now that I’m doing some work on healing the body via the body and not mind it’s working practices like orienting defensive and exploratory work but may not work for others it’s about finding the right practice for your body some people may need to run it out shake it out to feel safe others need to sit calm and stay in bed to relax and do some non sleep deep rest work

      Yes it is survival energy exactly. Which I don’t think is harmful to us, imagine the system that is there to keep us safe harming us? I don’t think we would be designed that way… just my thoughts there, which can help because when we’re not scared of the survival energy we don’t automatically produce more of it

    Hey Daniel! I have plenty of good days regardless of the amount of sleep I get. But it’s still bothers me that even with all of the information from your channel and the fact that I can have a completely normal day without thinking about sleep at all until the night time, Still doesn’t improve the duration of my sleep and quality. I just want to be able to sleep normally again.
