    I could never get this kind of low error rate on circularity with my v3 ginfulls, was always a pretty big overshoot even after calibration with dualshock tools.
    I also manually calibrated with the pinholes to get the overshoot mostly equal on all sides, I think I made things worse manually calibrating before doing the dualshock tools calibration and ended up undoing it.
    The v5s must be much better then? Do you try to get the magnet perfectly centred, or do any manual calibration at all with these v5s?
    I wonder if doing one manual click to the left/right would center that under/overshoot.

      I have not done any manual calibration with the v5s, I was using v3s from march and I was getting pretty much the same results as here. It could be the manual calibration someone else in the hall discord recently was getting overshoot while also manually calibrating, could be a bad pair of analogs though

    should i get these or jun zeng's, or any of those otehr ones that come with that tiny board?

      no point in the board with this now for ps4 & ps5

    I always get around 15 to 20% on circularity tests. Is this method used to reduce it or is there something physical to adjust after que instalation?

    • @Layhss
      @Layhss  2 дня назад

      Don't need to do anything physical, just all digital now, I've done pretty much all models from v1-v5 they all get under 10 percent circularity, are you doing it with the shell off?

    • @PlayStationMilGrau
      @PlayStationMilGrau 2 дня назад +1

      @@Layhss Normally I make the adjustment with the needle right after soldering the analogues on the board and do the circulatory test (on the hardwaretester website) without the shell, but even when I put the shell on, I only get between 15 and 20%. This method you use is to correct it and get it down to 5% or do I need to do something first?
      I'm currently using the V3, but I just bought the V5 version from your description link. Are they much better?

      @PlayStationMilGrau v5 is made for the software calibration, but they all work fine with it, I used v3 with them for a while and I can't remember the ones in the video may have been v3 I forgot what I said but I know I've used v3 and they were fine on here

      @PlayStationMilGrau I just install the analogs close the controller then calibrate

    Hi, thanks for a video!
    Can I use that website for the calibration of my V3 Hall effect sticks?

    • @Layhss

      Yes, you can it works with all versions technically there is no limit any analog works on the site for ps5 and ps4 I know

    Hello brother, I repair controllers and I have always used the alps analogs, but I think it is time to offer a permanent solution for stick drift. So can you confirm that with these, the drift can always be fixed?
    Also one last thing, so I just have to install these and calibrate them as you show in the video? Because in other videos they calibrate them with a needle or they manually calibrate then in a different website. The way you showed looks waaay easier and quicker. Thank you brother

    • @Layhss
      @Layhss  4 дня назад +3

      They are hall effect analogs technically we don't know the longevity but they should work practically forever without issues, hall technology has been around for some time, there's always possibility of faulty units but so far I've repaired over 1 hundred controllers without issues for over a year

    • @Layhss
      @Layhss  4 дня назад +2

      And it works with all analogs not just hall effect for this calibration method (ps4 & ps5)

    • @marcokappaa
      @marcokappaa 3 дня назад +1

      @Layhss so your saying that on this website I can fix drift also for alps analogs?

    • @Layhss
      @Layhss  3 дня назад +1

      @marcokappaa the website doesn't fix drift, it's to calibrate analogs that you have replaced In a controller, which is why i reccomend them with the hall effects alps are pretty much useless nowadays when we have better replacements that will last

    • @marcokappaa
      @marcokappaa 3 дня назад

      @Layhss ohh okay, makes way much more sense ahahha...indeed I just tried to calibrate a drifting controller and it kept drifting, I calibrated a controller which I changed the alps stick and was perfectly centred. Yes I agree with you, alps analogs are finally over, from now I will always install hall effect. The v5 are good? Do you recommend some versions in particular?

    Can I use v3 or v5 only ? what is the difference between v3 and v5?

    • @Layhss
      @Layhss  19 дней назад +1

      V5 is made for this calibration method and will give you better circularity results, not the biggest difference but if you're buying analogs it's just best to get v5 as they're the newest and best
