The problem was always Sega and their silly "don't show too intense emotions" rule. That really affected the franchise a lot, that's why in Sonic x we never saw Sonic cry even under the circumstances. But it seems that from frontiers they are being more flexible with that and with Sonic's attachment to Amy and since Sonic prime it seems like they realized that a more expressive sonic could really work
During some boss battles in video games, when there’s a boss introduction with the boss’s name, I like to pretend to be the announcer from Skylanders & announcer the name of the boss . This very cool & I’m looking forward to playing it once it’s released.
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one, although I have never played Skylanders [I have only seen its bosses in videos], its announcer marked me when it came to seeing the bosses and now I can't stop doing that every time I see something like this xd

The reason Is because that’s Karen Strassman voicing her she also voiced jinja in Monsuno as well as few other female characters.
I think her voice should be morte feminine and less childish like in dream
