Bivvy Camping with Friends

- And so my adventures continue!
This time I went bivvy camping with friends of mine, which is wild camping but without a tent so you are camping under the stars.
There's nothing better than a microadventure. When you find yourself you don’t know who else you’ll find along the way.
During a relationship many of us find ourselves forgetting about our friends and how much we relied on their support. Being single again whether it be because of a divorce, separation or break up allows you the chance to reconnect with some of the best people in your life. It also provides you an opportunity to have more time and freedom to meet more amazing people.
Alone not lonely, remember that! It may seem slightly terrifying at first but reaching out to friends old and new will help you start to get through your relationship ending.
You may receive some post-divorce tips or dating advice whilst you are going through the messiest points of your divorce from your friends. I don’t think you can ever pack too much chocolate on a camping trip! 😊 Looks like you had a fab trip with lots of laughs. I’ve never camped out in a bivvy bag, love to know how it compared the tent?
Haha you're right no such thing as too much chocolate! 😄 I can see the appeal of bivvy camping because it is a lot less hassle and there are definite plus points in being able to look up at the stars as you turn over. I really enjoyed it but I was definitely more out of my comfort zone as I felt less protected. It was a very calm and rain free for us however. I'm not sure how I'd feel if it had been raining and windy! I guess I'll have to give that a go and get back to you! A mountain top bivvy is on my adventure list. 😁 Thanks for watching and commenting again! ☺

I think you should drag that bivvy out of storage and give it a try! It's a very different experience! 😊
Yes definitely got plans to use it soon, lying by a nice fire on a stary night, probably on a hill side
AND Stornoway singing Zorbing at the end. I love that band, seen them twice live. So I now know where on Lewis you are from. I spent 4 days on Lewis a couple of yeatrs ago based out of Mangerster Bothy.x
Ah yes, that bothy is incredible! And I do love a bit of Stornoway too, especially that album 😊 Not seen them live but I heard they're really good!

@@FarForFiona My friends and I are no spring chickens anymore, but we know what we are doing. I just takes a lot longer to get in and get things done. Oh ma knees, Oh ma back, Oh my, you get the idea Fiona.
