What happens when the back squeegee lifts up and tries to do it twice, then slowly rests back on the floor and drags when the fan isn’t on?

That’s a rare occurrence on t7 usually very old machines with a bad board, bad actuator or broken 1031028 Housing,Sqge,Spring,Actuator
      Or a combination
Every Time Machine is turned on it does a “return to home” and pulls the squeegee until it sees resistance or for a limited amount of seconds
-If housing or actuator is bad it never reaches amp limit and releases
-if actuator is bad it can reach limit but springs pull back down
-If board is bad (not uncommon issue on pre2014 machines) all kinds of things can happen causing a pull push pull scenario
A self test / manual operation described in manual can help get some more detail
If you need parts and can’t get a good price call us

This is exactly what the machine I'm using is doing, I've been trying to figure it out all night. I was troubleshooting everything in regards to the rear squeegee. Now I know😂😂😂

The grey rubber strip that comes off rhe bottom that is shown at 12:55 it trapped underneath one of the squeegee wheels. Ours was doing that and grinding a dark grey stripe into our floors that can’t be removed easily. What does this strip do?
Also, when we turn the machine off, there is a loud clunk as the pads rise… what is that?

The rubber strip is a static dissipation ground strap
If removed you’ll be more likely to get small static shocks when you get off machine and in practice we see more rapid deterioration deck brush motor bearings
A zip tie can be used to position do it will always contact the floor but not get caught under wheels

@@powerkleenfloormachines-jo4881 we don’t want the strip removed lol, just the marks it would leave. So, perfect! We will position it. Thank you! Also any thoughts on the loud clunk felt underneath when the pads come up after turning the unit off?
