The lead singer is now 22, and the others 20. In this video they were 16 and 14. When they started the band they were 12 and 11 years old. 1997 is the birth year of the lead singer, and where the name of the concert derived from.

I tried to write a witty reply about which of their songs would constitute the 'glitch in the matrix'. But after several minutes pondering, I simply can't make the analogy fit. Either none of the songs are a glitch, or they _all_ are. Maybe the entirity of Babymetal is a 'glitch' in the heavy metal matrix? Or simply in the whole-of-music matrix? Either way, using the word 'glitch' is wrong, as there is nothing remotely broken or 'buggy' about Babymetal. Maybe Babymetal is simply the 'fix in the matrix.'
you aint sen nothing yet. been a fan since 2013 and have to hear them every day. Su, the lead singer, is like no other lead singer, male or female.1997 was the year Su was born. Babymetal is coming up on their 10th anniversary of the band. this show was for Su's 16th birthday. Babymetal does so many differeny genre of metal and make it work. no two songs are alike. they have won so many awards for best live band. they are of a few bands that are better live than cd. when you go to their shows it is an experience. May i recommend Road of Resistance live form Japan 2015. you will see in this video Su, at 17, controls the crowd like very few. She is to us a Queen and the more you listen to her and the band you will understand why we think that. she can go from hard metal to rap to a ballad that will make grown men cry and they dont even know the words but she can put so much emotion thru her voice you feel it. Babymetal is fun metal and that is why at the beginning a lot of people hated them. but a lot of big name bands love Babymetal because it brings life back into metal that was becoming a little stagnat.
"With the legendary long black hair gorgeously disordered, this crazy blooming flower will soon disappear. Now the time has come. I no longer hesitate. I tightly hold my discount railway tickets. To the east, to the west, to the south, to the north. Today I rush to the very front of stage center. On the left side, on the right side, standing up still, leaning back, jumping toward the stage, leaning over the fence, rolling over the crowd, and then all deeply headbanging. This special night of my fifteen I'll never forget. All the crybabies, get out of here! It'll never come again and it goes by so fast. I etch in my heart this special night of my fifteen." Hi Olly! Good reaction! Thanks for checking out my favorite band BABYMETAL! They are a Japanese group that mixes J-pop vocals with metal music, a genre they call "Kawaii Metal" which means "Cute Metal". "Headbanger!" is a song about a girl going to her first metal concert on her 15th birthday and I think it's easily my favorite song on their first album, of which they have three. This year in October will mark their 10 year anniversary. This concert was called "Legend 1997" and it was Su-Metal's 16th birthday show as she was born in 1997. Yuimetal and Moametal were both 14 at this time. "Headbanger!" is a pretty special song because on shows played during any of the girl's birthdays Su will pass the mic off to the birthday girl to let her sing the lead and it's the only time that will happen. The group considers themselves more performing artists than recording artists and are one of the very few bands these days which are much better live! Here are my next recommendations: "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" - Live at Sonisphere 2014 UK - ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html - Title translates to "Bullying, No Good, Absolutely". This was the last song of their first big show in the west where they were bumped up to the main stage. The girls were scared the UK metal heads were going to throw bottles and boo them off. "Rondo of Nightmare" with Mischiefs of the Metal Gods Intro - ruclips.net/video/QxYAcIyk2Co/видео.html - The girls are backed by the Kami Band (God Band) made up of some of the best metal musicians in all of Japan, and in my opinion the world. This is a Su-Metal solo, but it really shows off the Kamis and Su's voice. "Road of Resistance" Live in Japan - ruclips.net/video/zTEYUFgLveY/видео.html - This is how BABYMETAL ends an arena show.
@@ollytherock7324 Absolutely agree! I caught them on their US tour last year, best show I've ever seen in my life! After watching their videos for a couple years it's hard to imagine that any band could be that good live, but they absolutely are.
Babymetal. One of the best live acts in the world. Super talented and i'm angry I had only found Babymetal and Nightwish a year ago. 2 amazing musical experiences.
I first found Nightwish when Tarja Turunen was the lead singer. Much better voice than those that followed her. Changed it all. Find older version of NW and see
The name of the Concert "Legend Of 1997" is a reference to Su's ( the lead vocalists ) year of birth. This concert was a celebration of Su's 15th or 16th birthday.
@@stuffandwhatnot4401 Wow! I've seen this video dozens of times, and read the comments for about 4 years of reactions, and this is the first time I've come across this. Well spotted/commented on!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 Great song choice. Even though the lyrics are about a fifteen year old girl attending her first heavy rock concert, lead singer Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, or Su) was only fourteen when the studio version was recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was on stage, rather than attending concerts. : ) 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!!' is the song title. 'Legend 1997' was the 2013 concert that celebrated Su's 16th birthday. 1997 was her year of birth. Looks like you already have a bunch of great suggestions for more BABYMETAL songs. They're all different, and IMO, they're all great.
One major correction. IDZ was only one song of a 30 minute performance. By the time they got to it, BABYMETAL already had the crowd in their grip. You don't really scream "ONE MORE SONG!!" after hearing only one song.
Great first reaction, thanks! It's always nice to see a new first-timer wandering around the Fox Hole. It's also great you chose to react to Headbanger since this is not the usual gateway to BABYMETAL so I'm so glad. Don't worry all people here is very aware of the WTF factor and your reaction matched our expectations hehe. What's next? Well, the obvious choice should be Road of Resistance Live in Japan. I believe you won't regret that :) Have fun!
Feb 2014, I was 57 years old and just about given up on music ... I was on the now-defunct Google Plus social media page and someone posted a link to a video they say everyone just had to watch ... turned out to be BABYMETAL (Gimme Chocolate .. from that same concert.) Blew my mind like it did yours and there was no turning back. All of a sudden I was a big fan .. I started looking at what else those crazy Japanese had to offer in terms of music and found a shit-ton of great Japanese bands (and eventually another shit-ton of Asian bands in general.) 6 years of exploring the music entertainment of Asia and it just keeps amazing me. You'll find BABYMETAL to be an amazing band ... then once you get a taste of them you'll need to check out the best hard rock band ever (better than the Beatles, Led Zepplin, The Who, Queen ... okay, maybe not better but most certainly on the same level) Band-Maid ... a 5 member all-female Japanese Hard Rock band, with a catalog of over 90 sings and every one of them would be #1 on any western hard rock radio of the 60's through to the 90's.
Yay- Three small girls don't only ROCK the house- They burn it down!! As I always say: 1st reaction is normally: WTF? 2nd: it's good! 3rd: im addicted!! Continue enjoying them and you won't be disappointed! Top musicians, 2 awesome dancers (Moa and Yui) and of course the Metal Queen Suzuka with her awesome voice and stage presence. But beware: The fox hole is deep and waits for you! BTW: 1997 is the birthyear of Suzuka, NOT the year of this concert!
Nice reaction! I‘m so glad I discovered this band three years ago! I have never had that much fun with music before. Their music is absolutely unique, and so is pretty much everything around them, the dancing, the presentation, the lore... I‘m tempted to say even the fans. But the best thing is that they just make you smile. Please check out more of their songs, there‘s a lot of variety in their catalogue. Some songs are pretty poppy, some are heavy as as hell. None of them are boring.
In japanese the word BABYMETAL(ベビーメタル) and HEAVYMETAL(ヘビーメタル) look the same with a slight change in the first character so it is a bit of Japanese word play. 1997 is Su-Metal's birth year they also did a Legend of 1999 show for the other two girls both shows were performed through 2013. ages 16 to 14
The smile on your face says it all. I love watching people react to Babymetal for the first time, especially when it's to one of my personal favourites (Headbanger).

BabyMetal is so much fun...I am surprised that you hadn't heard of them before....enjoy your journey!!! Love that you are still listening to "new to you stuff" everyday!
With Baby Metal, it doesn't matter if you can understand what they're saying or not, you can't help but LOVE EVERY one of their performances. Their cuteness catches you off guard when they starting playing and singing, their high energy just makes you feel good, and you can't stop watching. They continue to push their performances to the edge and you want to keep coming back to see what they'll do next. I don't really care for heavy metal music, but I LOVE BABY METAL!!!!
I literally only just heard of this band half an hour ago and I'm fucking hooked. First new band in ages I'd actually want to see live(new to me anyway). What a show 🤯🤯🤯❤️😂
I loved Babymetal the moment i saw them. Tons of great songs but my fave is probably Karate n no i don't know what they're singing, too. Haha Great reaction!
They are a Kawaii metal, heavy metal, J-pop power metal, alternative metal. The definition of kawaii: Kawaii (かわいい, pronounced [kaɰaiꜜi]; "lovable", "cute", or "adorable") is the culture of cuteness in Japan. It can refer to items, humans and nonhumans that are charming, vulnerable, shy, and childlike. They have a tendency when you first listen to them to blow you away. This was put together by a company who hires the musicians and has someone write the songs then have the girls choreograph their moves. I prefer the organically made bands like Band Maid but I definitely won't criticize BabyMetal because they are great musicians and the lady's sound good and work their butt off and it's fun to listen and watch. Peace.
Band-Maid are good but still a very generic sounding hardrock band like there exists a gazillion. Many legendary bands weren't born "organically" and it doesn't really matter. You could argue that the three girls already knew eachother before forming BABYMETAL so it's not like they were picked randomly and are interchangeable. They are and were friends, more so maybe than all of the Band-Maid girls... Yes, Kobametal had the idea to use those 3 and their friendship to front a metal band, but it's not like it was allocated any budget at all or was decided by black suits in a management office. The fact they do not write their own music is not a letdown for me either. Because I'd rather watch talented artists do what they do best. BABYMETAL has the best songwriters in the Japan music industry, the best choreographers, the best dancers, the best musicians... All in all if BABYMETAL had been an "organically" made band as you suggest, it would most probably have been worse in every department. No, the girls do not play an instrument unlike Band-Maid, but can the Band-Maid girls do what the girls from BABYMETAL do ? Highly doubtful. Let people do what they do best. The girls in Band-Maid are very good with their instruments, let them shred, but none can match Su's commanding presence and unique-sounding voice. And I don't believe any of the B-M girls can match Moa or Yui in synchronized dancing while hyping the crowds up for 1 hour and a half. The more I type and think about it, the more I do not understand your "preference" for what you call "organically made bands". Did the B-M girls know eachother before forming their band ? Miku formed the band after inviting Kanami but she didn't know her personally either, right ? Koba and the three girls from BABYMETAL all knew eachother on the otherhand. So you could say BM's formation is as organic as B-M's formation... I guess you could say Miku did like Koba : she handpicked a girl, who handpicked another, who handpicked another... But the difference is Koba and the three girls already knew eachother. So maybe BM is actually more organic than B-M all things considered.
Actually the way Band Maid and Baby Metal came to be are very similar. With Baby Metal Moa and Yui were very close every before the group was formed and they knew Su. A guy had a vision and put them together. With Band Maid a girl had a vision and placed ads looking for band members. Most did not know each other before joining the group.
@@Zedem0n Great write up. Moa had a little band of friends before joining BabyMetal. There are pictures of her playing guitar with her own little "garage band". It is not a stretch to think that if Kobe had not formed the group that due to how close Su, Yui and Moa were before forming the group that they might have formed something themselves after graduation.
I've been watching your Angelina Jordan reactions, and having been a Babymetal fan for a while, it's awesome that you're getting into their music. This is one of my favourite tracks as well. I'd give two thumbs up if I could. Can't wait for more.
I really liked your reaction. Sadly, most first timer start with "Gimme Chocolate" which gives the "WTF" reaction but not so much the "It's great" reaction. They have to watch another song before starting to really appreciate it. You clearly had both in the same video which was fun to watch. Subscribed!
2020 is their 10th anniversary year as Babymetal. They 22 and 20 now. They have been performing professionally and on stage since they were 6 yo. They are the most popular and famous Japanese group/band in the world. Just so you don't have to do the math, Su was 16; Moa and Yui 14 at this concert. They have been opening act for Metallica, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. they have won numerous Metal Music awards and have chart topping albums. You will be flooded with comments, we are ardent fans. You are on the edge of the abyss know as the Foxhole, Welcome.
Great first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL fox hole. The song title is actually 'Headbanger' and is a coming of age song about a girl attending her first metal show on her 15th birthday (Su-metal was 14 when it was recorded, so it isn't autobiographical - and she was already performing on stage fronting a metal band of course). Legend 1997 was the title of the show as it celebrated the lead singer's 16th birthday (in December 2013). She is 22 now. The whole concept was fashioned around Su-metal, the lead singer ... metalheads gave them a lot of sh*t when they first appeared as they seem to think it was a manufactured money making project by suits in a boardroom and they auditioned for pretty girls to fill the roles, this was absolutely not what happened. For a start in 2010 when they were formed making money from metal in Japan just wouldn't have been a good idea. In this instance the talent came first (in the form of the girls - mainly Su-metal the lead singer), the idea was formed only as a result of that talent. It was a lot more organic than most metalheads thought. It was actually the idea of one man, their producer Kei Kobayashi, a life long metalhead who was working in the kids division of the Amuse talent agency. He saw Suzuka Nakamoto aged 10 or 11 singing with her former Idol trio and was struck by her unusually loud (for a Jpop singer) singing style and her stage presence and the thought formed in his mind that she could front a metal band. A year or so later he got the chance to work with her when she became a founding member of a middle school themed Idol group for girls aged 10 to 15. That group had sub-units, like after school clubs (cooking, science, tennis and so on) and he proposed a heavy music club to be led by Suzuka supported by her two small friends Yui and Moa. Amuse humoured him and allowed him to start the sub-unit, but provided no extra budget at all - they even had to borrow clothes to make their first stage costumes - and they performed in the Idol groups shows under the name BABYMETAL. You have already had the explanation about how it is a play on words with the sound and spelling of BABYMETAL and heavy metal being almost identical BABYMETAL ベビーメタル (or bebi-metaru) HEAVYMETAL ヘビーメタル (or hebi-metaru) the only difference are the two tiny dashes above the first character. The name also signifies the birth of a new genre of metal fusing metal instrumentation with Jpop style vocals and aesthetics (like choreographed dancing) which they call 'kawaii metal' (this has also already been explained in the comments). Their main aim was to attract a new audience - people who had only been exposed to Jpop and Idol music - to listening to metal and rock which were being drowned out and getting no air play in Japan at that time by using the Idol system against itself. So, although Su was just 12, Yui and Moa were 11 when they formed, their age was not the reason for the name. In 2013 Su was 15 and it was time for her to graduate from and leave the parent idol group. The unprecedented decision was taken that BABYMETAL should also separate from the Idol group to become a band in their own right. The Kami Band (some of Japan's very best session musicians) were recruited to support them in live shows - they played the encores in a few shows from late 2012 and from the start of 2014 took over for the entirety of all live performances. Before then the girls would sing to a backing track with staff member dressed in skeleton costumes (known as Babybones) miming the instruments. At the end of 2017 Yui was taken ill and missed Su's 20th birthday shows (Legend S). She was still absent when they started their 2018 tour and in Ocotber 2018, 12 months after her last appearance, she announced she would be leaving the band as her health had not yet recovered and she had some dreams of her own that she wanted to follow. Since the start of the 2019 tour Su and Moa have been supported by the 'Avengers' - 3 girls taking turns to fill the third spot as a dancer. You have some excellent suggestions for your next reaction(s) already - BABYMETAL will surprise you every time, no two songs are the same, they play virtually every metal genre and mix it with other musical styles and genres, often when you least expect it. Some songs are just metal, others may have more of a pop influence, every one of them is crafted and performed with real quality. They are unique, other bands have tried to follow their lead, none have managed to get close. BABYMETAL's official videos are good, their live performances are better. They pride themselves on their live performances and have won something like 30 international awards for things like best live act. Sorry for the wall of text, but you had questions and seemed interested to find out more about them.
If anyone, like you, can tell me: They have been treated well in their childhood, as far as anyone knows, right...? Asian bands with children and teenagers can be brutal. Seeing them talk about how "Shocking and scary" metal was when they first heard it tells me they're allowed to speak their minds, but I'd like to know of their treatment as far as anyone knows...
@@nachgeben Yes - all the rumours we may hear in the west of the way kids in entertainment are treated in Korea in particular do not apply to all kids in entertainment in Asia and absolutely don't apply to these girls or any they have been associated or worked with. I think it was Yui's mother who told her if her school grades dropped she would be taken out of BABYMETAL as school should be her first priority. I think Amuse has a reputation of being quite nurturing and very protective of its artists as an agency rather than being all about making money as well (if they were all about making money and exploiting the talent BABYMETAL would have never existed - it was completely expected to come to nothing and no budget was provided before they did unexpectedly start to get popular). There are enough videos of them as kids clearly enjoying life and loving what they do as well. When Yui left the band in 2018 it seems from interviews that Su and Moa were asked if they wanted to continue or end BABYMETAL at that point as well. They are adults now and still enjoying what they do 10 years in ... and hopefully counting for many more to come.
Maybe by now you know that BabyMetal refers to the genre of music they perform. It's been a journey for them doing every genre of music and adding the metal sound to it.
"I'm so confused!" Believe it or not, this is the proper reaction to your first viewing. You should continue and watch 'Road of Resistance: Live in Japan'. Looking forward to more reactions!
Did you notice SUE rocking the FREDDY MERCURY style mic stick? Watching BABYMETAL is like getting punched in the face by three kawaii Asian girls, and you know what I'm ok with that. Its times like this when you realize three kawaii Asian girls are more METAL than you. SU-METAL is our GODDESS QUEEN and an IDOL LEGEND. When all is said and done these girls along with the avengers will go down in history as some of the greatest IDOL LEGENDS alongside the first generation of girls from the IDOL GROUP AKB48. STAY BABYMETAL STRONG, AND MAY THE FOX GOD BE WITH YU...
usual entry point Gimme Chocolate, comes from this same concert. Others are Road of Resistance, Karate (official music video), and more recently Papaya!!
A song you might want to give a chance is Shanti Shanti, which is their Bengali/Indian metal-infused rock song. In Japanese. I don't know why they did that, but it's fantastic.
Welcome to being a fan of BabyMetal! My first time hearing them I was HIGHLY impressed!... Followed by a feeling that I may be on an FBI watch list, lol. They are now my favorite guilty pleasure, I know I get all kinds of crazy looks when I'm driving down the road listening to their CD's... I should probably start rolling my windows up, lol. Anyways, I like your reaction of them, take an upvote and a subscription and best of luck man!
Yup, he's got "The Look." The look that everyone who first discovers Babymetal gets during their baptism by fire. BTW, Su was born in 1997, making her, in Babymetal lore, the Legend of 1997. They were 16, 14 and 14. Sadly, since this time...guitarist Mikio Fujioka died in, of all things, a fall from a platform while stargazing...and Yui Mizuno left the band, probably due to a chronic back injury. During her last year with the band, many reported seeing her onstage wearing a back brace. They were a brilliant concept; they achieved worldwide fame, yet were somehow star-crossed. Yui was never replaced as a member of Babymetal, but her place is now taken on a rotating basis from several other dancers. RIP - Mikio...and bye, bye and farewell, Yui-chan, The Tomato Princess.
I guess the number one on the Billboard is pretty cool. They are cool in concert as are the other groups in the agency, One OK Rock and Perfume. Babymetal was originally supposed to change members as they graduated from the Sakura Gakuin but they were doing so well they decided to let them stay on and see where it went. Pretty good so far, who knows as they grow older ...
The singer girl Suzuka was born 1997 that is why it is in the name. Other two girls are 2 years younger then her but one had to leave due to health problems.
I have been into them for several years, my favorite band now. We call that "falling in the Foxhole". They have about fifty great songs (sadly, not all available in their best versions here on RUclips)... The lead singer Sumetal, was born in 1997, this was her 16th birthday party and it has an Epic closing number, "BABYMETAL DEATH, legend 1997". Kitsune Dao!
you start with Headbanger song ? man .... that's heavy song for first time hearing of BABYMETAL and that will not the last of it if you continue your journey to BABYMETAL Universe , enjoy your journey and as Su-Metal said " Don't think , Feel ".
..I'm a gonna sub just to see how far down the Fox hole you go..you just gotta Love BABYMETAL...every performance is different as they experiment with every type of genre ..
Next should be Road of Resistance Live in Japan, their epic masterpiece after that then Karate the official video, their work of art. More current is Pa Pa Ya Feat. Hero where they are all grown up and beautiful. They have won 32 international awards including Women of The Year 2015 by Vogue Magazine.
This is a good choice as an introductory song. A bit of shock with Babymetal. So, it is only a matter of time before some kind soul suggest Band-Maid (you will understand why Band-Maid once you see the), but not me as I have no idea which song to choose, to be honest. But Ad Infinitum released a new lyric video to the song "Live Before You Die". :-)
They were 14-15-16 when I first saw them @ Sonisphere UK the gig that made them outside of Japan they were on the main stage with Iron Maiden & Metallica & they were great
Definitely the best initial Babymetal reaction I've seen in a long time! I see far too many reactions to 'Gimme Chocolate' for one thing, which does very well on the 'WFT' side, but doesn't really convey as much musically imo. (Although maybe I've just seen/heard it far to many times to 'feel it' much now.) So the choice of song was a plus, right from the start. But the thing is, you actually _react_. Going through 'Hmm' to 'Huh?' to 'WTF?' to 'Wow!' to simply amazed and as the song finishes back to 'WTF?' again. You may be surprised at how many 'reactions' to Babymetal seem completely unemotional, blank, unmoved and mostly mute. Definitely a sub from me, and I look forward to you reacting to some of their other stuff. I think you'll find you still have a long way to go before the dust settles. _If_ it ever settles. (It hasn't yet for me after nearly 6 years.)
OK, if you want to hear a real LEVEL you should react to Road of Resistance (live in Japan). You'll realize that they have not only the best girls, band and stage, but also the world class fans. Feeling like you're going to The Fox Hole. Keep going!
you may be noticing they are rocking their heads from side to side.... This is to differentiate 'Hedobang' (what they are shouting out) from what we normally do when headbanging (rocking from front to back)... oh, and the song is about the first experience with listening to a heavy metal concert.... you also need to listen their songs about bubble gum (awadama fever), pa pa ya and gimme chocolate.... or their very first hit song "doki doki morning"...
Catch Me If u Can (live at Rising Sun) Megitsune (MV) Road of Resistance (Live in Japan) Ijime, Dame, Zettai (live at sonisphere) And for sleeping pill... NO RAIN, NO RAINBOW (Official)
Most people who hear BabyMetal for the first time, go through 3 stages,
1. What did I just watch?
2. Should I have watched it?
3. That was awesome!
The lead singer is now 22, and the others 20. In this video they were 16 and 14. When they started the band they were 12 and 11 years old. 1997 is the birth year of the lead singer, and where the name of the concert derived from.

@@Varksterable Sounds right to me!
you aint sen nothing yet. been a fan since 2013 and have to hear them every day.
I'm looking forward to hearing more. OMG i'm loving the sound mix.
True. I myself overwhelmed and had tears when i heard them at first. I'm 40 yo grown man btw.
Well said, kitsune fellow
Long live our Queen!

I etch in my heart this special night of my fifteen."
Hi Olly! Here are my next recommendations:
"Ijime, Dame, Zettai" - Live at Sonisphere 2014 UK - ruclips.net/video/Ro-_cbfdrYE/видео.html - Title translates to "Bullying, No Good, Absolutely".
Thank you for the info, this helps me understand the band. There sound is totally magical.
Better late than never! Definitely two absolutely great bands!
YES!!!!!
duude
I found them (Nightwish & Babymetal) like 3 days ago...…
I guess its better late than never
I first found Nightwish when Tarja Turunen was the lead singer. Much better voice than those that followed her. Changed it all. Find older version of NW and see
The name of the Concert "Legend Of 1997" is a reference to Su's ( the lead vocalists ) year of birth. This concert was a celebration of Su's 15th or 16th birthday.
In fact, when Su is climbing the stairs to ring the gong, you can see Happy Birthday written on BOH's head.
Su turned 16 the day before this concert.
'Legend D' celebrated her 15th.
@@stuffandwhatnot4401 Wow! I've seen this video dozens of times, and read the comments for about 4 years of reactions, and this is the first time I've come across this. Well spotted/commented on!

Great song choice.
'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!!!' is the song title.
'Legend 1997' was the 2013 concert that celebrated Su's 16th birthday. 1997 was her year of birth.
Looks like you already have a bunch of great suggestions for more BABYMETAL songs.
They're all different, and IMO, they're all great.
Thank you so much for your comment.
@@ollytherock7324 also, if you find Legend 1999 that represents the birth year of Yui and Moa.
Like others have posted: "Road Of Resistance". Or the legendary international breakthrough performance of "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" at Sonisphere.
Road of Resistance BABYMETAL live Japan official....Yu need this🐺
Honestly black gave the others to shine and then yui health made her leave but they keep her spot and use a dancer for filler
I believe you won't regret that :)
Have fun!
"I don't understand whats going on!"

Thank you I I figured it out last night as I justed the history of the name and band.

BabyMetal is so much fun...I am surprised that you hadn't heard of them before....enjoy your journey!!!
Love that you are still listening to "new to you stuff" everyday!
Oh yes I always listen to new band. My heart is always open. As you know my heart is open to all genres.
What a show 🤯🤯🤯❤️😂
Amen to that.
Welcome to the fox hole, you’ve look in now is time to fall in. Next watch road of resistance live in Japan official video. See you!
I loved Babymetal the moment i saw them. Tons of great songs but my fave is probably Karate n no i don't know what they're singing, too. Haha
Great reaction!
Watching people's first exposure to Babymetal just never gets old...
Peace.
I totally love the band...
I definitely prefer BABYMETAL over BandMaid. Much more unique and eclectic. And they can get very heavy at times. But BandMaid are good, too.

You are on the edge of the abyss know as the Foxhole, Welcome.
ahahahahaha at 5:02 finally you broken Congrats you saw unrealty something LOL. Please Sir I Want Some More
Omg I love it, still in shock.
You have already had the explanation about how it is a play on words with the sound and spelling of BABYMETAL and heavy metal being almost identical
BABYMETAL ベビーメタル (or bebi-metaru)
HEAVYMETAL ヘビーメタル (or hebi-metaru) the only difference are the two tiny dashes above the first character.

As of 2010 Babymetal was created by Amuse inc. When they started Su- Metal was 14 yrs old Moa-metal and Yui-metal were only 12 yrs old.

Kitsune Dao!

Thank you. I have four channels, hope you will enjoy the ride. I know I have.
you start with Headbanger song ? man .... that's heavy song for first time hearing of BABYMETAL and that will not the last of it if you continue your journey to BABYMETAL Universe , enjoy your journey and as Su-Metal said " Don't think , Feel ".
So good.
I love your exciting reaction.
I love Babymetal.
R.I.P. my man Mikio Fujioka 💐

..I'm a gonna sub just to see how far down the Fox hole you go..you just gotta Love BABYMETAL...every performance is different as they experiment with every type of genre ..
I just getting started.
My guy for a second thought this show was in 1997! I'm in tears right now 🤣🤣🤣
best possible way direct into the foxhole…..game over…..
keep it up, cant wait to see next baby metal vidio
Lol I plan on that.
good reaction do more babbymetal 😍
They were 14-15-16 when I first saw them @ Sonisphere UK the gig that made them outside of Japan they were on the main stage with Iron Maiden & Metallica & they were great
So happy to see you enjoying yourself and getting a little banged upside the head. Try GIVE ME CHOCOLATE, or KARATE.
These guys are Awesome
I'm so looking to do more for sure. Long way to go.
My favourite BABYMETAL song of all time!!!!
Sumetal was born in 1997, Yui and Moa in 1999. AFAIK.
Your reaction is really good maybe even better the second time I've watched it I thought I was subscribed. I wasn't so now I am again
Thank you for coming on my journey.
I love your reaction....verry nice!
BABYMETAL DEATH from the same concert!!!
OK, if you want to hear a real LEVEL you should react to Road of Resistance (live in Japan). You'll realize that they have not only the best girls, band and stage, but also the world class fans.
Feeling like you're going to The Fox Hole. Keep going!
It always starts with: "what did I just listen to?"
Welcome in the Fox Hole!
Loved ur reaction! more please
What they are singing in the chorus is “Hedobang” (Head bang) There are about 100 variations of headbanger, but this is one of the best.
Welcome to Babymetal!
Great reaction .
Epic. Great reaction. Welcome done the Fox hole. Love from Sweden ❤
you may be noticing they are rocking their heads from side to side....
Wow learned something new. Cool thank you
Welcome to the brutal pure joy that is Babymetal! 🤘🦊
Haha... that was such a great and geniune reaction.
