It's positively nuts to me that I watched all of these reactions, even knowing full well what was coming, and I *still* got goosebumps every. damned. time.

The thing that's great about this band is they're not afraid to do new things. There's an interview with Sharon on Czech radio where she was asked if she was afraid that some fans could leave because of doing a collaboration with a rapper, she answered by saying you should never be afraid of people (fans) leaving because then you can never do anything new and that it is very important for them to be in charge of their own creativity. She has said similar things in interviews about what they did with Resist and the new album Bleed Out too. That's why they've become my all time favourite band, they're not afraid of change or to try new things. As for the band ending, it will obviously only continue for as long as she wants to keep doing it because without her voice there is no Within Temptation.
