💕 / 🎶 💕 For years this song had only been performed in Japan. Finally, at the O2 Academy Brixton concert last year (July 2nd, 2019) it was featured on the setlist. That's still the only time it's been performed outside of Japan. 'Syncopation' is on the Japanese (domestic) only release of the 'Metal Resistance' album. 'From Dusk Till Dawn' is on the international release, and that song has only been performed live once, at the Palladium in Los Angeles in 2017.
Syncopation is fantastic live. Babymetal is the one band you can’t really pigeonhole or rate in a traditional manner. So much variety in their output. I could easily rotate a good 20-25 songs in my top five at any one time.
Exactly this. After thousands of hours listening, I'd still find it hard to name my top 5 songs. It changes each week. Each day. Depending on whatever I'm listening to. It really is astonishing to me that a single group can be so diverse, and yet consistently brilliant. Jack (or Jill) of all trades, master of.. all of them, it seems.
Good one. Syncopation was not on the international release of the second album, we got 'From Dusk Till Dawn' instead - a very different song but strangely I like both equally. You mentioned 'Da Da Dance' and of the songs I wasn't sure about on the latest album when I first heard them it remains the one that still hasn't really grown on me even after seeing the live version. Happily they haven't gone as far in that direction with the rest of the album.
You know that when I find a Babymetal reaction I am going direct to the comment section searching your comments, I always find new infos and many interesting things! Ευχαριστώ / arigato
You're wrong about Metal Galaxy. It has heavy songs too. Distortion, Kagerou, BxMxC, In The Name Of, Elevator Girl and even Pa Pa Ya is pretty heavy. Oh yeah Arcadia too, if you like power metal. Distortion and In The Name Of are undeniably heavy. BxMxC is the best song on the album. One of their best ever.
I think this was the first Babymetal song that I heard that seemed to have a more conventional structure to it. I like the unconventional aspect to them, but it is nice to have this one as well.
The Babymetal dances are associated with the lyrics. So the moves they do are the same with the same lyrics for example in the chorus. You should go to a Babymetal show, it's huge amount of fun !
As always, you can't pigeon-hole BABYMETAL, going off of one song. You might not have liked "Da da dance", but the album "Metal Galaxy" is incredibly varied.
I am wondering when people stopped to look at the whole collective.... Rush...Queensryche... BabyMetal...what do they have in common? There is a story there... 2112/ Fly by Night..... Operation Mindcrime... you will find the story in at least 1 or 2 songs in each of BabyMetal last 4 albums.... you can also find in some of there intro's... Death 1997/ Distortion... the rest of the songs show there diversity of Kamiband
On this song it's funny that I haven't heard anyone say a word about the incredible break with the incredible harmonies .. it's a brilliant break that's only like 2 seconds.. oh well...
Wow, you are tough to crack. I would have given it a much higher score. It’s easily in my personal top three of BABYMETAL songs. It’s high speed, high energy, has an interesting and catchy melody, and I absolutely love the instrumentation. Those (too short) guitar solos are insane!
It's a good song and the score reflects that. If you were a rnb fan would you like the track or if you were Into jazz would you like it. That's why a score of 50 or more is good. Queens bohemian rhapsody probably would score around 70 due to length and overall complex structure doesn't appeal to everyone. I think highest score I've ever given is maybe 73.
@@DaveDoesmoviesandmusic Oh, now I get it, you scale goes only up to 75. :-) (Just kidding) Don’t get me wrong, I‘m not criticizing the way you are doing things, but it sounds like you are trying to give an objective rating. But is that even possible?
I try to understand the elements of the song that most people will generally look for to connect with a track, ie the lyrics, the melody, the hook, they in turn influence the overall appeal. Certain elements of music cross all genres, specifically the melody, the question is always whether the melody is good enough in all genre types
SCANDAL from Japan. formed 2007 , 11 albums, touring the planet since 2009, and still in their 20's. They do great live shows, been to US several tours. Their first encore they got was in Seattle when they were still a highschool band playing at Comicon event. give em a spin please . recent single masterpiece > @

Absolutely one of my favorite songs from babymetal

Babymetal is funny like that, they throw so much stuff at you you didn't expect and then throw in something normal when you don't expect it :-)
Best song ever, man. Actually, this song is so good! :)
My personal favourite babymetal song . They are so good . Respect man 👍
This song is genius 🤟

lol i give this reaction a 10/100
This is one of a small few BabyMetal songs where not knowing the lyrics makes me feel like I missing out on something
The one he watched: ruclips.net/video/GkFgLbWHs7w/видео.html has subtitles.
Just goog BABYMETAL lyrics 🤟
Song about first love.

The pop is middle of the road... still good.... but the metal is blistering
Does the song cross over genres? Every Babymetal song does and they're the best at it.
I think your comments and score is fair and accurate
React to tales of the destinies please
Nice sound🤘🦊🤘 nice choice🤘

You have a 4 colour biro pen.
