The song is "The One", the compilation you watched was titled 'We Are The One' by whoever made it. The huge stage with the audience all lit up (they were all wearing light up neck braces) was Tokyo Dome 2016 - 55,000 people. The stage with 3 fox heads and the pyramid floating over the audience was Yokohama 2015, other stages included Wembley Arena 2016 (not sure if there were others I missed). They had realised as they toured the world that their fans were learning Japanese to sing along with them. They decided that in return they should challenge themselves to learn to sing a whole song in English - "The One" was that song and yes it is effectively their love letter to the fans. You already saw a power ballad by BABYMETAL two months ago - Su's solo 'No Rain, No Rainbow' is their best example of a power ballad.
@@flugelhornoldman1362 Thank you, that is a very nice thing to hear. I honestly don't remember if I thought of it myself or if I read someone else say it first, but I think it is true.

For months You 2 are my Monday to Tuesdaynight routine before going to bed.🤗'The One' is our anthem.🦊 This was a compilation but a realy realy good one. The Stage with the Foxes and the Triangle were from the official video (2015) The other with all the lights was from Tokyo Dome Red Night (2016). Each participant (55k people) got a neckbrace at the entrance and had to wear them. During 'The One' all neckbraces lighted up and made this enourmes light. Yes it was the light from 55 thousand people. The girls didn't now about this which you can see in their moved and astonished faces (if you saw the Liveshow/DVD). This was also their closer of the show. And on the next day they played again at Tokyo Dome (Black Night) with 100% different playlist. Mindblowing.
Just about tear up every time i see this. How many bands dedicate a song to their fan base. Babymetal realy appreciates everything they have earnt including the respect of their fans. We are "The ONE".
The song's just called "The One". (BABYMETAL + fans = The One) The video you watched, is a compilation video of a couple of shows. The show in the large stadium - where everyone was wearing neck bands that lit up during certain moments in the show - was their largest show to date. It was two nights at the Tokyo Dome, with 55k in attendance each night.
When Babymetal came to the UK in 2014, a reporter did a Q&A with them, and asked them if their fans had a name, and Su said "We call them The One. The One." We don't know when they gave it, but that is Babymertal's nickname for the fans. There was another occasion where Su was asked if the Kami were part of Babymetal, and they're not officially, but Su differs and gave a Su answer. She said, and this is from memory, "There are seven of us who work very hard to bring you Babymetal. Seven of us, and the staff, and the fans. Always the fans. Together we are all Babymetal." The first power ballad was Aerosmith, Dream On, in the early 70s btw.
Other bands: "Let's have a walkway into the crowd. That'll be impressive". Babymetal: "Hold my red triangle...hold it 50 feet over the audience's head. Oh, and give the 55,000 people in the audience a neck LED each so we can see them better."
This song gets me emotional sometimes. This is actually the first time that I've heard the all English version since the official video which I normally watch is part English lyrics and part Japanese lyrics, Great reaction guys!
You MAY have heard the melody before in a Babymetal promo video or other videos during their concerts because they're VERY sneaky. The melodies for "The One" and then later with "Shine" (that I highly recommend you listen to, but there's no official video yet) were teased over a YEAR before their release. Whenever there was a promo of an upcoming tour, or ending of a concert they'd start playing orchestral instrumentals of these songs and made us wait for the actual songs to be released (We didn't know at the time that was going to be a real song). As I mentioned, Shine was similar and IMO is a spiritual successor to this song.
The One was originally a part of their Prog Metal song Tales of the Destinies, but they were separated during development. I love how Smokey seemed just entirely entranced while Su- was singing. And I could tell Hollywood was there with it when he lead with a few fist pumps calling out a transition in the song right on the very beat it started. After a whole bunch of these reactions I can see why you guys collaborate, you bring complementary talents to the table.
The question is how many singers can actually still sing when they are so high up in the air and in a tiny triangle like that is the question to be asked.
Hollywood you hit the nail on the head, Everyone all the people you never see, the girls, the band, and the fans are apart of Babymetal, they have said in the past that it is The Babymetal Family. Smokey yes THE FOX GOD chooses everyone. 🦊🦊
About the stages (some): 2010-2011: mostly lending Sakura Gakuin stages. 2012: got the small side stage at the Summer Sonic Festival. 2013: built a big ass statue that crumbles at the concert's ending (Legend 1997). 2014: the circular rotating stage in Tokyo Budokan. 2015: flying over the audience like you see here at Yokohama Arena. 2016: their biggest, Tokyo Dome show with tower and elevator at the of center stage and 55000 attendance for each of the 2 night performances. 2017: the Legend S epic theatric and staging in Hiroshima. 2018: was the debut of dark theme in Dark Night Carnival. 2019: was the of huge ass screens as backdrop and around the stages. 2020: we are waiting for their 10th anniversary show :)
Yes you were correct, this is *The One,* dedicated to their fans. But the video is a compilation of live videos and the guy who edited it put a wrong name probably. It is actually merging two videos, *The One* at _Yokohama Arena_ in 2015: the video were the girls are flying aboard that pyramid; and *The One* at _Tokyo Dome_ in 2016, that giant stadium with the people with white lights. _Tokyo Dome_ was their biggest venue ever, it was two nights in a row with different setlists for 55.000 persons each night. This song was usually a concert closer during the _Metal Resistance_ era (2015 - 2018). At _Yokohama,_ on board of that moving flying pyramid thing the girls told after in an interview that they were really scared and it was difficult to sing, but it was also very special because from the stage they had never realized how many people were watching them and at that show they were able to see every person face in the audience from close. At _Tokyo Dome,_ the dream of Su-metal was achieved. When she was a younger child and still at _Sakura Gakuin_ with around 14 years old, she confessed to her teacher that her dream was to become a singer and sell out the _Tokyo Dome_ some day. Well this was just four years later. Mission accomplished.
@@dakotahsmith8320 There are a lot of compilation videos running wild in RUclips, some of them doesn't even tell you they are compilations. For some reason Amuse blocks any concert after 2014 Budokan and demonetizes the rest, so in order to songs of Metal Resistance Album and Metal Galaxy to exist on RUclips out of the official channel, some people have edited the videos changing images between different shows so the RUclips algorithm doesn't catch the DVD copyright and the AI doesn't automatically blocks it. But those videos aren't meant for reactions, just for hearing the songs. They take images from different shows and change them quickly, so it is confusing for the reactor that doesn't understand what's happening. Also it is not a real performance, so that video can't lead him to any conclusion about the performance. So to all you peeps be careful with recommending compilations to reactors, specially if they are some of the guys more interested in the technical aspect of the music. Some fans from the Babymetal discord and reddit made a list of what they thought were the best performances for every song, so reactors could choose the best Babymetal stuff. But it is not on RUclips, and it will be blocked here, so an alternative must be taken to do those videos (put a placeholder here and a link to a bittube/dailymotion/vimeo video..., a link and syncronisation....). This is The List. docs.google.com/document/d/1DqPsavocgGvCyZfUHvrkgJ5KZMaMkmMgjy2UxNNG96E

The one is a tribute to all babymetal fans around the world. There are 2 vesrions of this song one in Japanese, and the one your watching was in English . They learned english just so they can sing it to all non japanese speaking fans.
Actually they have never sung The One only in Japanese they did sing this is in half English half Japanese version which they did for the first two performance of it, but they said after that this song would only ever be performed in English from then on, even if they performed it in Japan it would be in English.

I know I saw some tears when you paused it😁 I honestly think the official video sounds a lot better. It mixes English and Japanese. Thanks for finally reacting to this song.
this song always gets me emotional. I waited for this reaction for a long time, you should react to tales of the destinies. That one is fucking amazing. Nice reaction as always
Suzuka's voice, clear as a bell, cuts through all bullshit and touches the heart. One flower makes a sea of concrete irrelevant, one out-pour of love annihilates all egotism. I love that strange fact of life.

Su and Moa are now fluent in English and Moa has a beautiful accent with some words. The Tokyo Dome is THE concert venue in Japan, 2 others that have sold it out are Blackpink and Wakakki Band.
In a different genre, the voice actresses/singers from the Love Live anime franchise also had 2 sold out shows in Tokyo Dome on March 31st and April 1st 2016, adding to that live viewings in cinemas in Japan and some other Asian countries 😉
very nice video compilation :D and it was impossible to not singing along with her, damn i miss them, hope to see them again soon... And Su-Metal it's a Queen for a reason :D
at the moment you guys said "We are the One", I immediately though of the Delain "We are the others", that in turn made me to remember Eluveitie "The Call of the mountains", which made me think of Auri "The Space Between", after which my thoughts drifter to Indica "Lilja's Lament" and "Lucid", and lastly in an unforeseen twist I landed on In This Moment "Dirty Pretty"
In the original performance, the introduction makes it clear that the One is the entire human race. Also, this is a composite video, so it’s hard to tell a lot because Babymetal has several very different versions of this number. Personally, even though this song was written four years ago, it seems as if they are singing about what’s happening in the world now.
Well , you need more metal resistance from Babymetal , check BABYMETAL - Amore . You'll get su-metal solo , or BABYMETAL - Meta taro . for Athem vibe .
On this day last year, BabyMetal played in Atlanta. There are vids on RUclips. It would hurt you to see the vids knowing that you could have seen them. It does me because I didn’t start listening to them til around the same time as you guys.
Dude, I started back in early-April during this whole s-show and found out that they had been here in Boston on 9/11 last year. I was (and still am) SO PISSED!!! I'd give just about anything to go back say 18-months and smack myself and say to listen to them and go to the concert!
I hear voices of angels , that's why there are tears. This should not work (CUTE= KAWII+METAL= BABYMETAL ) but it does nicely. Welcome to the journey that is BABYMETAL, ENJOY THE RIDE..... If you ever get a chance to see them live ( DO IT ) you wont be sorry!!!!!
they have one more all English song, but good luck trying to figure out all the words, with Su's accent and funky stuff with the vocals, it's lesser known than most of their songs, they have only played it live once and there are a few fan cams of it. it's called "From Dusk Til Dawn"
There's also an all English version of 'Elevator Girl'. I was there at the Palladium in 2017 for that 'From Dusk Till Dawn' performance. What an encore that was. Followed by 'Road of Resistance'.
Was waiting for this one, it's an amazing song had me a little teary first time I heard it, when u guys gonna do a reaction to 4 no Uta? (song 4 in English)
The one was written for the English language fans because they was singing with the band in Japanese at past concerts. So they wrote it for the fans the first power ballad was Lady by Styx in 1973
I'm pretty sure i leave a comment here, probably shadow-ghosted by YT. Anyways... I'm coming back here to letting you know some news you might not know since it's been a long time you reacted to a BM song. The thing is BM announced a couple of months ago they gonna start a sortta "hiatus", a break from activities, this was communicated in a "lore" wasy saying that _"10/10 the 10 Year Legend of Metal Resistance is gonna be sealed,_ so that happened yesterday when they release a new version of "The One - Stairway To Living Legend", this is an accoustic piano version (similiar to Akatsuki - Unfinished version at Legend 1997) with only two of them, this is a thanking video dedicated to the fans for the support throughout these 10 years. Is really beautiful and full of emotions as you might guess. Now i'm not asking you to react to this song because i'm sure is heavily blocked for now, you can try thou with watermarked logos, opacity and whatnot. But instead of that you can react to another song you didn't reacted yet. You did almost the entire catalogue for sure but here's some songs i found there aren't on your playlist, probably you did but it was blocked, lemme help you with those if i can. *Future Metal* - This song is a short intro, is the first song of 3rd album and always combined followed by "DA DA DANCE" (a song you already watch) so don't bother with this one if you don't want. *Yava!* - This one is from 2nd album and is a blast super fun song, especially with the Kami Band intro, and you know those intro are rare, you have the live at Big Fox Festival 2017 at BMRR channel with watermarked logo. *Awadama Fever* - Another fun song from 2nd album, it was composed for the same guy who did "Gimme Chocolate!", this is another one who got unique Kami Band intro, but you won't find that version at BMRR, you have live at New Year Fox Festival 2015 version instead. If you want to hear the one with the Kami Band intro you got a live compilation, so i guess that one is safer. *Kimi To Anime Ga Mitai* "Answer For Animation With You" - This isn't on any BM album, it was only released as part of the single "Iine!" with one of their first collaboration in their career, the song is actually a cover from "Kiba Of Akiba", is a blast showing SuMetal vocal skills and it was played several times unlike any other cover, but sadly this one is heavily blocked, at least the live at Budokan 2014 with Kami Band playing, the only solution i found out is to watch the vid and put another vid like a compilation for us. Of course the live compilation could also works but i think you're gonna miss the power of the Kami Band sounding behind, same if you watch Legend 1997 version, because the baby-bones are air playing behind and is a backing track. There's also another song in collaboration i couldn't find on your channel and is the one they did last year with "Bring Me The Horizon" and that is *Kingslayer.* There is a official lyrics at BMTH channel and pretty much is safe to react, althou is not really neccesary to put the vid, only the music is fine. BMTH started a tour last weeks and they performed this banger song who loves everyone hearing SuMetal voice, but sadly no BabyMetal was physically there, and i doubt they can at least this year. Finally, when i said "BMRR" i'm talking about "BabyMetal Reactor Resource" channel. Go there, check "Future Plans" and follow instructions to get those clips i told you about it, if you follow "No Logos" l1nk you will find tons of new clips from their recently released "10 Babymetal Budokan" DVD/BR and many of unique special songs versions to enjoy. Also in BMRR YT channel you will find a vid with title "FDTD", that is the new and one only proshot version of _"From Dusk Till Dawn"_ live at 10BMB (10 Babymetal Budokan) with watermarked logo and got subtitles lyrics, there's no official lyrics yet, but this new lyics must be the most accurated till this day thanks to SuMetal much more clean voice and english. This version is exclusive for those who buyed "The One - Complete Edition". Now all 10BMB are risky to react, but this vid was already used 4 days ago and the vid is still up, there's also live comps mixing this version with the fancam you already saw and no problem, so is up to you, but i don't think you get any trouble. React to any of these songs you got left or the new "FDTD" version (I know this one is a Hollywood favorite) as an excuse to go back and say "See You" to our girls and they thankful song to everyone of us. I probably won't be here since i'm gonna take a break too. But i'm pretty sure "The One" will be glad to see you again and doing this kind gesture to salute them. Thanks for reading this and remember... _We Are THE ONE_ _FOREVER_ 🦊🤘 _LIVINGLEGEND_ _NOTACULT_ _OTFGK_ _10BABYMETALYEARS_
Oh i forgot, the major consensus among fans is that this "hiatus" thing is part of the lore, and the girls are gonna come back, they did this before (kinda) and many hints lead us to believe that they're gonna come back, probably will take much longer than before and coming back with something new, many theories are around it, there's even those who said they won't come back and this is just a "goodbye", but i'm not buying that, is nonsenses. Thanks again mah man.
Would it be even remotely possible that you'd consider doing a whole concert reaction to BABYMETAL someday ? The amazing concert footage you saw was from their 2016 Tokyo Dome concert. 55k people. A true marvel. I highly recommend that you finally make the jump some day :).
Gring mentioned clips from Wembley Arena. FYI the song was introduced at the Yokohama 2015 concerts - in a version with combined English and Japanese lyrics. It was on the Metal Resistance album which came out April 1 2016 - The Japanese edition has the combined English/Japanese whereas the international edition has the English only lyrics. The Wembley concert was the next day, April 2nd. The fans were truly appreciative of the effort to bring "The One" all over the world together especially with English lyrics. As part of this appreciation, the Babymetal subreddit and Facebook group organized a "Flag Plan" event to occur at Wembley. The idea was for the crowd to raise the flags of their different countries at a particular moment of the song, at the first "LA LA LA LA" part (which occurs at 4:44 of THE ONE video). It was done. You can see a bit of it in this Trailer (ruclips.net/video/t4yXqzC710M/видео.html). There were about 30 countries represented. Someone else probably has a better vid link.
Saw the Wembley 2016 show when BM streamed it on YT this year. I noticed the flags, but didn't know that it was a reddit&facebook action. Such a cool and heartwarming idea. 🤗
@@PENTA_pischner I was there, it was a very special moment, at Wembley Arena Babymetal was also live streaming to Japan to one or multiple movie theaters in Japan (middle of the night there). Together we are all Babymetal."
The first power ballad was Aerosmith, Dream On, in the early 70s btw.
Aerosmith does have a lot of hair, so he got that right. ;-)
Other bands: "Let's have a walkway into the crowd. That'll be impressive". Babymetal: "Hold my red triangle...hold it 50 feet over the audience's head. Oh, and give the 55,000 people in the audience a neck LED each so we can see them better."
It's a Pyramid, not a triangle.
pretty much
@@blackguardharper7005 fair enough. You sound as pedantic as me so we're both happier now I've changed it. Kitsune up!
Applause!
Thank you for loving BABYMETAL
I love you who loved ABYMETAL
This song gets me emotional sometimes. This is actually the first time that I've heard the all English version since the official video which I normally watch is part English lyrics and part Japanese lyrics, Great reaction guys!
BABYMETAL monday, my favorite day!
me too😆
Very glad you showed much respect to this band. They're something very special that nothing else quite sounds like.
Here is the _Shine_ video m.ruclips.net/video/VsNgGF47YZo/видео.html ✌️😉
The One was originally a part of their Prog Metal song Tales of the Destinies, but they were separated during development.
I love how Smokey seemed just entirely entranced while Su- was singing. And I could tell Hollywood was there with it when he lead with a few fist pumps calling out a transition in the song right on the very beat it started.
After a whole bunch of these reactions I can see why you guys collaborate, you bring complementary talents to the table.
BABYMETAL MONDAY!!
I love this song.
BABYMETAL forever!! 🤘🏻🐗🤘🏻
Great reaction! I said it on another reaction vid of this song... If I was only able to listen to ONE song to start my day, it's this one.
Good choice
The question is how many singers can actually still sing when they are so high up in the air and in a tiny triangle like that is the question to be asked.
It's a Pyramid and it is not tiny.
Not many
Now you have to check out Babymetal - Tales of the Destinies it goes together with this song
Tales of the Destiniesは演奏も歌も神曲!
Another song that Babymetal sings in English is Elevator Girl English version (official) from the album metal galaxy
Afaik FDTD is also in English
Hollywood you hit the nail on the head, Everyone all the people you never see, the girls, the band, and the fans are apart of Babymetal, they have said in the past that it is The Babymetal Family.
Smokey yes THE FOX GOD chooses everyone. 🦊🦊
About the stages (some):
2010-2011: mostly lending Sakura Gakuin stages.
The stages at the Japanese shows are phenomenal , was lucky enough to see them a few years back at Tokyo dome over 2 nights , fucking awesome
Yeah I’ve seen that on a couple videos this one and to the song called song 4 I’ve seen some call it song number 4

BABYMETAL FOREVER
🤘🤘🤘
Man, This song and video makes my eyes water.
I find it moving.
Maybe this song is suggested less than others. But I think it's a fantastic song and I'm glad you guys reacted to it.
If you are a Babymetal fan you are part of The One. The guitar work in this is just awesome.
This song always give me goosebumps whenever I listen to it
The metal resistance album is accompanied by a section of the Fox God legend. The One is the last song. Find and watch Babymetal legend S video and you get alot of the details on alot of the songs you've heard
Guys, if you can, you should watch the w/piano version, performed by Su as an encore at the hearth breaking Legend S Baptism XX (Su's 20th birthday concert, the first performance without Yui and the last with Mikio)....be prepared, it will shred your hearts.
Everyone got a Neck brace with a light.... Yeah, every light in the crowd you you see there is someone's neck brace
You have to check out the intro to Legend S concert. In the name of intro is epic af! 🤘🏻
I can provide the link to the video on streamable. It's tough to find a quality video of it on youtube.
@@AlanG512 The question is would they be able to upload it on youtube without link&sync and other methods tho? Because not many reactors willing to do those, never seen them did before.
@@moalisa8691 I suggested it to the retired musician guy. He puts all of his BM reactions on bitchute now.
@@AlanG512 Yeah I know, but are they (Trash Talkers) also willing/wants to do that, we'll see.

You really need to watch the whole concert (they have plenty to choose from) just to see the Amazingness of it all.
This song live is amazing !Just Su's voice and a piano at the beginning!
About time, I recommended this video more then once, months ago. I also said bring something to wipe the tears. Cause this song just brings out strong emotions. I know I saw some tears when you paused it😁 I honestly think the official video sounds a lot better. It mixes English and Japanese. Thanks for finally reacting to this song.
Received my Legend - Metal Galaxy The One Edition this morning. Can't wait to get into it.
this song always gets me emotional.

This song makes my so damn emotional, love babymetal to death 🦊🤘
this is absolutely beautiful ❤️
We’re not an Army, we are the “One” ☝️
Man, i love your reacts, the same as dicodec ones, Babymetal is one of my favourites bands of all time, and now i follow you and i will give a like to every video including Babymetal reactions hahahaah, a big hug for you two from Chile!
One for All. All for One. We are The One!!
This is SU's word.
[ Music can transcend language barriers and borders. Then we can all be united with a smile on our faces. BABYMETAL is neither pop star(Japanese idol) nor metal, I always thought it was "BABYMETAL". We believe that our music is one-of-a-kind, and because it's one-of-a-kind, we can bring the world together. ]
I hope you continue to enjoy your BABYMETAL.
Put your Kitsune🦊 up!

Another great reaction guys, we are the one, forever..
very nice video compilation :D and it was impossible to not singing along with her, damn i miss them, hope to see them again soon...
YES I was waiting for this!
Love you guys!
I'm too late..........everyONE has gotten here before me! They have told you what you need to know! Great reaction!
Watch the Legend S version. Best thing I've EVER seen
Legend S is by far their biggest production I've seen. Babymetal Death and In The Name Of were insane!!
Well , you need more metal resistance from Babymetal , check BABYMETAL - Amore . You'll get su-metal solo , or BABYMETAL - Meta taro . for Athem vibe .
8:37 is that a tear? Thats the babymetal effect we all have been there
On this day last year, BabyMetal played in Atlanta.
'In the name of' from Legend S, definitely give it a try

The melody reminded me of Zakk Wylde's solo from No More Tears.
This is one of my top favorite songs by them good reaction as always would love to see u guys react to werid al

Babymetal Road Of Resistance (live in Japan)
The one was written for the English language fans because they was singing with the band in Japanese at past concerts. So they wrote it for the fans the first power ballad was Lady by Styx in 1973
The song is tribute to one of there guitarists that passed away
Arrrrrgh. My immediate thought is “Nooooo! Not a compilation! Not for The One....🥴”. I just....i just can’t.

We are THE ONE! We are BABYMETAL!
And they put Japanese fans on the screen above the stage during The One. So we were all 'connected' in the same place at the same time.
