A lot of schools are focused on aesthetics or exercise more than realistic martial arts style training which is harder and more dangerous to the practitioner.
0:06 to 0:07. That was a perfectly executed Wing Chun head strike to the hand. Unfortunately, the 'Karate' guy did not condition his hand on the makiwara; which is very basic karate training. The karate guy does not deserve to wear the blackbelt.
Wing chun, more on intercepting hands kyukushin more on strike explosiveness. This is the result. Just a bit disappoint on the karateka. He has so many unnecessary distraction, the usso stuff. Actually it really works. Its kinda cheating if you say. You are stealing your opponent's momentum of focus. The wing chun guy should have attack him during those seconds but he let it go instead.
Behind this video is the saddest realities facing the martial arts. It is not about the martial art itself, but the individual. All I see is a "karateka" who mocks his opponent, who seems already frightened after the first blow in the face. Martial arts concern first and foremost respect for the opponent, not the contempt for the exaltation of self. Once again, I think we should practice to challenge themselves, not for the comparison with the others, which certainly can and must take place, but with absolute respect, in order to improve themselves by the study of the other and exchange of experiences. Quoting Sun Tzu, "The greatest leader is the one who wins without fighting."
If you look the bloody nose happened when the karate guy tried to grab him. All other hand strikes were blocked. The first block hurt the kyokushin instructors right hand.
Ummm...it looks like the first "block" at 0:07 was with the Wing Chun instructors face. Lots of people don't realize this but the human skull is actually pretty hard and without gloves on you can break your hand. Back in 1988, Mike Tyson broke his hand punching someone in the face in a street fight. I'm not taking anything from the Wing Chun fighter. Being able to recover from such a blow is admirable. But there wasn't a block there. And Wing Chun prefers parries to blocks anyway. Edit: Never mind. Slowing it down and looking at it again The Wing Chun fighter may have blocked the punch. He definitely intercepted the karate fighters advance with a low line kick.
I do not think this is Kyokushin. 1st the fighting style is not Kyokushin and then 2nd look at the kanji on his dogi uegi or dogi jackect. Here is the kanji for 極真 which is made up of two kanji 極(kyoku) extreme and 真(shin) truth. At 01:57 the guy who is wearing a dogi has kanji on it but it is made up of three kanji. And you will see 一撃 (ichi geki) on the new Kyokushin dogi pants and jacket.
hey we kyokushin/karate fanboys are at least better than muay thai or bjj fanboys(not fighters) cause we see the kyokuyshin fighter is really a disgrace even though he won. sosai mas oyama would really punch him dead if he was alive. losing is not bad, geting ko'ed also not bad but at least don't u dare show the pain while in a fight dude. and pain also of WHAT? u hit ur hand on somebody's face and its hurt.......... OMG!!!! i hear the boxers laughing "thats why we wear gloves."
It is not fake karate and wing chung. It is real, the problem is that you know that you are fighting for real, so it is very hard to see techniques, you know that the other guy will hit you then all the "art" in both sides is almost reduce to 0.
That's two Fun Fu people fighting one dressed in a karate gi each Time. Fun Fu have to fabricate beating Kyokushin. Not one fighter is wearing Kyokushin insignia and not one uses karate Wing Chung bull
This one is a little more intense than what you usually see in these videos. Too bad neither fighter did any grappling, or it would have gotten more interesting whenever they clinched.
You really bought into that bjj stuff right, fights rarely go to the ground unless it's one of the guys being out down then he's getting the crap beat out of him not twisted into a pretzel
ese gancho fue mas bien un volado. detenido por un bloqueo basico de karate... ese cinturon negro no es merecido por ese supuesto peleador! que verguenza para su estilo de combate!
a bicycle made in Germany vs car made in China crashed...nothing's wrong with the cycle....but the car was broken..... this Kyokushin fighter is made in China....that's why they're pathetic.... it's an insult to oyama.....
1:40 his wife tells him to stop fighting and he was like "Shut up, b!"
旁邊的女性說空手道打架像女人....回不要吵
Absolutely terrible. Both looked unskilled
No way is that guy a kyokushin blackbelt.
A lot of schools are focused on aesthetics or exercise more than realistic martial arts style training which is harder and more dangerous to the practitioner.
Black belt is a level you're suppose to achieve withing 3 years of training.
Fake kyukusin,,,its not kyukusin

I thought Kyokushin fighters don’t punch in the face. Are they following mixed rules?
Kyokushin?? why so different? Is it a real fight or just propaganda?
