Another helpful video. Thanks, Tyler! I learned to add fillets to a feature. For the cut operation with the arc: you could create the corresponding sketch after the 4th operation (2nd extrude) in the timeline and project the arc which is still complete at that time. Then use this projected arc for the cutting operation later.
very good Tyler. i follow your tutorial. the only thing, in order to practice alone, can you start your tutorial with sketch drawing with Dimensions. Thanks
Hello. Thanks for this. I use Inventor but the commands seems to be similar to Fusion 360. I will not be getting Fusion 360, but am wandering if there is value in following the logic and techniques you use here. If you were modelling in Inventor would you adopt similar strategies?
@@TylerBeckofTECHESPRESSO 👍 I did it for the challenge of course. Also it forced me to delve deeper to find solutions in Fusion. I'm no design engineer, but it helped me improve
Thank you so much for using mm in your tutorials :) So simple and easy to use instead of inches etc. Not all from the US is good :)))
@2:26 that's gonna be a sweet Millenium Falcon! 😀
wow, I already use fusion quite well, but you were able to teach me a few very useful things. Thanks for that. Best regards from Florence, Italy
Definitely a video I would have to pause and do the whole way through.
Another helpful video.
Thanks, Tyler!

Or a quicker way: use the inner circle of the first sketch for the cutting operation.
Great vid, I must try this and other exercises as my skill levels need improving.

Great work!
Thanks!

Has anyone worked through the entire model mania catalog???
Another great video Tyler. Yes, I worked my way through them all some time ago.
Hey Spike! I figured as much :)
