Brilliant! I'm glad to see you moving away from basic tutorials :) Thank you for sharing.

Knowing many ways to do the same results shows you know fusion inside out. Keep up the good work.

I really love your videos. I always learn something new. I wonder if you would consider adding a key logger/ mouse button logger You move fast which I like but I sometimes lose you when you use shortcut keys or do certain mouse functions. I am trying to get better with using shortcut keys and it would be really helpful. All the best and awesome work!

I think you should mention in this video the different methods the will result in a flat outer rib, vs a curved outer rib. Perhaps in the original video, it was specified that the rib will be flat, not curved? I haven't watched that video.

I don't know about Fusion, but in Solid Works sometimes I would sketch on a plane and then either project the sketch to the surface of the model and then thick or extrude to surface with an offset distance - the thickness of the feature from the surface of the base model.

I think emboss could work too here. Another one would be doing a sketch and get the intersection profile then you a thin profile extrude (center & symmetric)

Great idea! I tried that, but it would add rounded bosses. So, a slightly different result.

Got a better way to create this in Fusion 360?

You could offset outwards the cylindrical and the conical surfaces, then thicken them towards the object, and then make a sketch of a rectangle on the base plane with the intended width of the rib and extrude it upwards, and intersect it was the thickened body.
