- In today's update video, a sleep-deprived TinyLeaf shares some big news, announces her next big project for the channel, asks for feedback, and talks about playing Ultra Despair Girls for a couple minutes.

Editor's Note:
When I filmed this, I forgot to mention that going forward I may try to do more shorter, less heavily edited videos in between big video essays. The Ultimate Imposter video may be one, but I may also talk about other Danganronpa characters if the mood strikes me.
I don't like going radio silent on the channel for three months at a time to work on videos, so I'm going to see if something like this works. But again, it all depends on what my schedule looks like.
Anyways, thanks for reading!

Congratulations on the Internship!!! And I’m excited for the new videos but don’t rush yourself and take your time :)
Congrats on the internship.
If you're asking for audience suggestions, I guess it'd really depend on the type of content you want to make. I know a lot of creators, when they're busier than normal, will still try to generate engagement through smaller or more formulaic projects. There's all kinds of different types of writing/analysis content, you could do book club type content where you suggest a book/movie/whatever and then take audience emails a month later and talk about them for a bit; you could do creative writing content where you write short stories as small creative writing exercises. Talking briefly about current popular media, if you have a unique perspective on something; talking about other media you're into; there's content that's more analytical and content that's more emotional, like if you were to do a fun rant video about UDG, the entertainment and catharsis provided by a rant is totally different from forcing an analytical tone on something you just don't enjoy. There's always a wide range of potential approaches to similar subject matter that creates different types of enjoyment or a different ratio of work-to-quality. Some of my favorite videos ever are ones in a genre of content that doesn't take a lot of time or effort to make great stuff, which is handy when you don't have much free time.
What I will say about the 999 video is that, 1 of the 1st strong lessons I learned when I was a wee lad in school, was that an argumentative or analytical essay is supposed to assume the audience is familiar with what is being discussed. This is the most universally true lesson of writing imo. Putting a summary of a piece of fiction in your essay/video is NEVER a good idea. To people who aren't familiar, summaries are hard to visualize and follow in a meaningful way and they come across as boring. To people who are familiar with the material, summaries are just boring. Summaries are only entertaining when they are deliberately silly or explaining something off the walls, as in, summaries are only good when they basically are a good story in their own right, at which point they no longer service something else. Summaries in an analysis video just suck, 100% of cases. I'd just provide a link to an existing summary of 999, I just searched it and they already exist, and then I'd writing an analysis video that assumes that viewer is familiar with the whole thing, content, tone, everything, and only explain the direct evidence needed to make specific points. Doing any more summarizing than that just never works out as good as you expect or want.
Thanks for the suggestions! You make a good point about a pre-existing summary. I forgot those exist, lol. I may just have to take your suggestion for a rant about UDG when I get back to it.
Best of luck!!
Well, best of luck with the internship and can't wait to see the Zettai Zetsubou Shoujo review someday!
I can see that you're already distraught over it and nothing can change that but hopefully by the end you will just be highly conflicted about it as opposed to completely despising it!
Good luck on the internship!
Ayyy
Sorry you had to experience ultra despair girls
"Big life changes"
ok someone died I'm calling it now
I realize this comment would be insensitive if it was true,
lucky for me (and tiny leaf) that is not the case.
