- Hey everyone. Today we have a quick update on the 650 gallon tank! We've made a few adjustments to make it a better home for Sampson, our 34" Fire Eel. We'll also talk about some other fun updates to the tank as a whole. I hope you enjoy this tank tour with me.

Guten tag! Sampson is 34" currently. I think he is full grown now, and won't get any bigger.

That's an injury from some of the other fish. Happens occasionally amongst that species and always heals with no adverse effects.
My fire eel is about 2 feet long and will only eat earthworms - nothing else. Do you know how I can get her to eat something else? Thank you.
I had luck making frozen food out of fish and veggie puree, then cutting it into long, thin slices. I think it tricked him at first, thinking it was a worm, then he realized it was still food and kept eating.

I believe they do, but I have not seen it yet with these two.

I did not, but the parents have so far managed to protect them. :)

Hi! That is an Albino Giant Gourami. They get massive.

Are theese gourami really albino? They dont have red eyes. Could just be regular white non-albino variety.
You are correct! Albino Giant Gourami is a commonly used name, but 'leucistic' is a more accurate term. The regular color morph is gray and bruised-blue.
