This means you can make some preferred settings for your matches with bots, save it and go back to it later. for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: it seems that savable game settings is not working anymore. I still have all my saved presets I did a long time ago but now it won't show the option to make NEW ones. idk if this is just on my end or just BO3 but this may be a sign that the COD devs are cutting support for savable game settings. very sad tbh especially how much I love BO3 but something to look out for!

Very informative, I will certainly be considering some of the titles you mention when I next visit COD. Recently played BO3 and WWII extensively, and whilst they are poles apart in terms of the experience, they are both excellent games for bot combat.

A couple years ago I started playing all the call of duties in order, first the campaign and then the multiplayer, and also started searching online about the capabilities of the bots, as I think it's very important to keep the great multiplayer modes alive even after all the players leave the game. For me personally, the ability to customize bots loadouts is a very low priority feature as I almost never do that. However, there are two things that are very important to me when ranking the best CODs for offline multiplayer: - The ability for bots to use all (or at least some) killstreaks. In some games like COD MW2019, bots can't use killstreaks, and can't fight very well against them, so using them felt unbalanced, and limited my gameplay options. In other games like COD BO2, bots could use some killstreaks, but not all (I think the ones they didn't use were mostly vehicles that required direct control). - Having everything unlocked in custom game mode. Some games have locked equipment in Custom Game, like COD MW Remastered and COD Infinite Warfare. This is very annoying, as it's almost impossible to unlock this content online if there's nobody to play with.
Great video and I hope to see your channel grow. I own most of the Call of the Duty games made through Cold War. After that, I lost interest in continuing to purchase COD games. Your suggestions are on point. Your top 5 games are ones I own on PS4. I do also have bot mods for the original Modern Warfare and World at War on PC, as well as a mod for the original Black Ops that makes the bot play better. But I prefer playing the PS4 games most of the time. The inclusion of bots is one of the reasons I've preferred COD over Battlefield over the years.
To be honest the best thing you can do is playing with your friend on one console together, e.g. you two vs. 15 bots. I tried it on MWR in S&D and it worked quite good and was fun. It feels almost like spec ops mode.

I believe Ghost is the most offline friendly game, it even starts you out recommending squad mode (online against bots) before jumping into MP. Problem is the good maps are locked behind DLC so highly recommend buying deluxe edition during the sale or I would just get MWR. Edit: not 100% sure but Ghost Ai bots are the only bots that camp behind safe place and play dirty like real players 😂
hey, i just wanna add that bot warfare spans from call of duty 2, all the way to black ops II on PC, they are really capable too, work with custom maps, and dropshot and jumpshot for example too so even MW3 and MW2 for example have bots you can rank up with now, you can also rank up with the amazing bots in ghosts through the IW6x client which is nice.
I agree that MWR and BO3 has great bot support. Mostly play those 2 a lot for that reason. I am planning on getting Ghosts again to give it another chance, since I used to have it on my ps3 back in 2015
The Bot Warfare mod adds bots for cod4, waw, mw2 and mw3. They play all modes and use all streaks, they're not basic bots like you said in the video. The cod wiki page on bots also has some useful information on bot capabilities in (not modded) cod games.
Interesting video. Are there any cods with offline progression? So you play against bots but can level up and get camos etc. I guess a separate progression system to the online multiplayer part of the game. Or are they all just jumping in and play against bots with any gun and attachment and no levelling? Just curious haha. I think that could be a fun way to play offline

I guess ima get bo3 never got bo3 cause thelast console I had was the ps3 I started on the ps1 back in the day but now have an xbos seres x and can play all the cods, also played advanced warfare and had tons of fun in the offline mode with bots only issue wasonline since it was pay 2 win but whatever, the survival mode was also great imo just didnt like the weapon restrictions based on class but overall fun arcade shooter.
The bots in Black Ops 6 piss me off. In Modern Warfare 3 you can have 12 bahts on each side but in Black Ops 6 you can only have 6, that's pretty lame. :(
Hi I need help, i was confused which one to get for older Call of Duty, i'm planning CoD Infinity Warfare since I had Cod WW2. However, you said CoD Infinite Warfare has limited restriction to bot customization, but in terms of AI does the bots use ability well ? Such as specialist, killstreak or how hard they are in Veteran? Thank you! P.S CoD WW2 has crazy AI and difficulty in Veteran, they would kill me instantly lol. But i think lacks something like feature previous CoDs.
I personally just really like COD: Infinite Warfare because I'm a sci-fi nerd and would recommend it just for that but in terms of bot playability- as I said in the video you cant really control the bots super well (or at least as much as I would like too) but the AI is very smart and does get rough in veteran (not as much as much as WW2 bots in veteran in my opinion, I feel your pain with that haha) though these bots will utilize special weapons, equipment and the specialist classes & like all of futuristic CODs will use there jetpack jumping thus making interesting bot games. Also there are a few game modes unique to Infinite Warfare that the bots all play perfectly well that. hope this helps!

Also not sure about console versions, but Hardpoint seems to be best gamemode against bots if you want to sweat :D I love Search and Destroy, but in most call of duty games bots are not so good at it, especially Black ops 4 is the worst. Ghosts, AW, MWR, WWII and Mw19 are the best for Search and Destroy. Black ops Cold war lacking some of gamemodes, but overall bots are good :D

Sad that us PC players have to be sure we arent wasting money due to all the hacks online. If the Offline isnt fun or grindable, there is no reason to buy it (atleast for me).

The biggest downside to cold war is the bots cannot* play all game modes on all maps. It gets annoying when trying to play, some work and some don't

Tysm! I Currently own bo1 and bo2 and mw3 on xbox series x and yes mw3 has no bots for multiplayer but its survival mode is amazing imo

With mods/modded clients, all of them. And they’re really good. I prestiged on world at war yesterday. About to go and drop some moabs on MW3.
COD: GHOSTS has very decent bot AI. But it's prestiege system is kinda boring. Pain in the ass

Last Gen CODs really only run on my PlayStation.
Xbox has a lot of issues with freezing every few seconds for the XB1 generation of CODs.

BO1 has Combat Training where you can progress to lvl 55 and unlock all the stuff like in multi. I was suprised, this mode can be fun too.
Modern warefare 2 2022 you can't make custom classes and you cant select them either

The original mw trilogy on PC has bot mods. They are good but not perfect @@SeaOfOpportunity25
