The bread in Keel & Cow looked like fougasse (foo-gass) which is a lovely bread. Yes, a hundred million calories with the cheese, but oh so worth it! The Beach House arrangements seems odd. The menu looks exciting, though. I'll look out for the cover charge. Nobody has said a bad word about Sindu, so I'll definitely want to try it. Good tip about the bar there. In terms of prices, as I live in London, so everything, even the steaks, seems very reasonable in comparison. So it won't feel so extravagant on my cruise this July, but prices generally are just crazy nowadays. Thanks for the video! 👍
The price difference between north and south is getting silly - I paid £7.50 for a pint of Guinness recently in London! Crazy! We are on Azura in a few weeks and going to give Sindu another go probably. Hope all goes well in July.
Once you are 14 days from the cruise embarkation, bookable restaurants and entertainment will start to appear in “my P&O” I usually check every couple of days. If it doesn’t - don’t worry as it usually means P&O aren’t sure themselves if they the staff to open which restaurants and which performer will be on board.
It depends on the Restraunt and cruise ship. On Iona some could be booked before embarkation others only once on ship. On Aurora and Arcadia restaurants could only be booked once on board. If you are on Iona I’d book Olive Grove for the first night - most dishes are no additional charge. The first night on most cruises can be a little chaotic as everyone finds their way around.
The main theatre entertainment is usually 8:30 and 10:30. I’d give yourself two hours for the meal so book the table two hours before the show you are going to. I find the length of time it takes to serve a meal with P&O very variable so best give you ourself lots of time.
I'm not happy with P&O. They recently cancelled our 2024, Geiranger stop on a Norwegian cruise. Given this was one of the main reasons we booked, we feel cheated. P&O won't allow us to cancel and basically said.... tough!.
Sadly T&C are heavily weighted in the cruise lines favour. I’m surprised they get away with some of the stuff they pull. Retrospective changes to T&C are my biggest annoyance :(

Adele, I'm as confused as you about the booking of restaurants etc. We cruise with p&o in 2 weeks hoping we get more info nearer to sail date.
