I couldnt really undertand from your accents so had to put on subtitles, but I guess english isn't your first language so I'm grateful you took the time and effort doing this review in English. Food looks amazing, with a great review. Thank you 😊

Glad you enjoyed the review, and being from the North of England, Yorkshire, many people in the UK consider English to not be our first language too 🤣 RUclipss auto captions struggles quite a bit too with the Northern accents.

The layout looks great - so nice to see some space between tables for a change - food look really good.

It was nice to see more space between the tables Karen & Stuart. Although this only applied in the speciality restaurants onboard. Main Dining rooms were as pushed together as normal these days. Linzi and Mark

Not a big fan of Asian food but your video makes it look delicious. With so many choices it’s unlikely I would take a P&O. I did take the QM2 to Norway in September. Loved the formality but the food just ok. We’re spoiled with options in the US. Hope y’all are able to come to the Colonies and makes some videos. Cute couple. Keep at it.

Thanks Fabio, P&O is worth trying (the newer ships at least) if you happen to get chance; that's how both our P&O cruises happened, Ventura was last minute (three days before sailing) and then Iona was because of our Virgin transatlantic on Resilient Lady being canceled.
QM2 is high on our list to do so hopefully food improves.
We already have two cruises booked for start of next year out of the US. First on Icon of the Seas in Feb and then a few months later Cunard's new Queen Anne. There will be more to follow including a few on the West Coast too.
Thanks so much for the lovely comment Fabio and have a lovely day. Linzi and Mark

helloooooo Mark and Linzi..now, its almost 11pm, and I am having to go back downstairs to get a snack to eat after watching this. I am half tempted to get a piece of bread and butter pudding from he freezer that I made last week - but, ive no cream to pour over it!!!! I went to Sindhi twice the last time we were on P&O and a different menu each time, and it was, as you say, amazing. However, I feel cheated now that I didnt try their bread and butter pudding...now contemplating booking Iona - so I can have some haha. take care my lovelies...Terry x

When /If you do go on Iona or Arvia you must try the Bread & Butter Pudding at Sindhu. It really is that good.
Have a lovely week Terry and take care with the cold weather coming later in the week. Linzi and Mark

Looks so good . 😊 I have dined here once and it was lovely 😍 can't wait to go there again .......completely off the subject but can anyone recommend cruise travel insurance provider? Please

    • @SuiteNatured

Sindhu is great Amanda, and definitely worth going again, we'd go just for that Bread and Butter pudding😂
For the travel insurance we use Rias Travel Insurance, used to use Cover2Go until this last year and they were great, but it had got a bit more expensive, for us at least, and Rias is better value, and certainly for the annual policy we get (if you go on more than one cruise a year it is cheaper to take annual, in our experience). They also offer cruise cover as well, which gives payments for missed ports and such. Hope this helps

I went to Sindhu on Iona yesterday after watching this video. It was awful. No spicing in the dishes and bland, bland, bland. I'm not a chilli freak and do understand Indian cookery. Not a hint of cumin, coriander or cardamon in any dishes. The dahl was like lentil soup. Honestly your average high street curry house is way better than Sindhu. Spoke with the manager who said they are given the recipes by onshore and can't alter it. He agreed that the food is nothing like authentic Indian food (he is from India) and refunded our money. Don't waste your money

That is so disappointing Mark. That is not like the experience we had at all. Being born and living in the Bradford district, it’s fair to say we’ve had a lot of great, good and poor curries in our lifetimes and our experience of Sindhu was really good. The flavours were so much better than you’ve described on our trip. It sounds like things have changed a lot in the past fourteen months since our cruise.

It has according to recent reviews gone down hill a bit Peter, which is a shame as it was really enjoyable on our visit. We are both from Bradford and have grown up with some of the best currys in the UK, and to be fair it is not anywhere near the best we have here, but compared to other main cruise lines, it probably is the best we have had, we have certainly not had better since this either, but we hold out hope for a great curry.
