It's been so long since I've been on an Ensenada cruise, my ship ( _Monarch Of The Seas_ ) was sold for scrap!
I like the stop in Catalina, Royal Caribbean didn't offer that. The places in Catalina looked really good, I need to take a Catalina Express excursion out there!
Avalon is a nice place to visit for a day or a weekend. The Express isn't cheap, maybe around $80-90 per person round trip? Might be more cost effective jumping on a 4 day cruise. lol

It does get harder the older they get, we're blessed for sure.
In a cruise from last year we visited the churro cafe and enjoyed some with the mexican chocolate-very yummy! I noticed that you did not go to your favorite sit-down restaurant this time. Anyhow, always appreciate the food suggestions, I am jones-ing to take an Ensenada cruise again. Thanks and love watching you guys!
We were eyeballing that rotisserie chicken restaurant in Ensenada, but we were all too full. lol
I have a house in Ensenada and go down there more than 4 times a year.
Next trip try Sabina Restaurante por LA GUERRERENSE It’s in the downtown strip.
Anthony Bourdain and many well renowned chefs have been there and praise her amazing seafood. ITS TO DIE FOR.
My boyfriend and I always go and indulge on the amazing freshness of what they make.

Next time you're in ensenada check out the WORLD famous seafood car .....la guerraguenze (something like that)
Rigo, it’s weird that they are always eating tacos. Spanish or Mexican spicy or non-spicy big bowls of thick seafood or beef soups are super awesome. They do love to eat thick clam chowder soups, but Not the thick super delicious Mexican or Hispanic soups. They also have steaks and pork ribs served with avocado or plantain plus other different styles with shrimps or other food together in a different category.

Great question, Mariah. For this cruise, Lisa, Lesley and myself covered the cost of the cruise, but everyone used their own money to gamble in the casino. Thanks for watching.

We have plenty of Carnival cruise to Ensenada vlogs. Check more of them out to see if Carnival is right for you. We also have one RC vlog, but that was during the restart.
Ok, I thought I missed something. I was wondering what happened to the cruise vlogs. The shorts threw me off. Lmaooooo. We're taking the same cruise in April. Our first since the pandemic happened. The last time we were there we couldn't find Tacos Lucero. Exactly where is it after you get off the ship?

No, food services onboard are open during their regular times.

interesting. been to ensenada 1 time many many years ago. had my first fish taco from street vender. saw a vlog from a visitor from england. their experience was very bad.
We can't vouch for every taco vendor there, but we always can recommend the one in this video.
How are the food prices in Mexico compared to US?
As for meals, it's a better deal than your typical street foods.
Do you guys exchange cash for pesos at all?
It depends. On this trip, we just used USD. We have exchanged money before when staying in Mexico for longer periods. But, if just staying in the touristy areas for a day, USD is fine.
@@billandlisa we normally use dollars but noticed that they charge more if you do. It’s a hassle to exchange currency.
