Hubby and I are going on the carnival cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada for our anniversary in 2 weeks… this video was very informative. Now we’ll know what to expect when we get there. Thanks for the tour!! 😃
“Enough for two or three to share”, then you immediately cut to a shot where you’ve finished almost 3/4 of the margarita. Lmao! When in Ensenada. Great video, thank you.
That's really cool that the fish taco first got its start in Ensenada! The tacos and the tostadas looked quite tasty. I'll have to check out Ensenada some day!
Great review, you really hit a lot of spots for only being there a few hours. Sadly when we were there a year ago, it was raining so all the seafood and taco trucks were closed, excited to return for a redemption food tour, preferably another cruise 🚢
My husband and I were there that day too but we were on carnival radiance . We’re actually in your video inside hussongs. We were there celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary 🎉 what a coincidence
Pretty informative! Didn't need the cruise company comparison and hope you actually tipped the armored guy after the interview, which would have been a great highlight of your visit to Ensenada. Thank you! will find the original Margarita place!
Nice video! I have been coming to Encenada for decades,,, and today I learned new things from you. I didn’t realize the cultural center had a nice bar, and probably other public access areas. I thought it was a government facility not meant for you and me to go to. Also, never saw the horse drawn carriages before.. they look inviting. Negro fish market- I never saw that before. Thanks for the super nice tour.
Hi Chris. Ensenada is a very lively place with a lot of great place to grab some great food, especially the tacos. I could do a pretty good foodie tour of the taco shops in 6 hours. All those tacos look so good. You know it's a great place when they fry the shrimp and fish while you wait. I guess I need to try them all. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Churros and ice cream and yummy fish. What a nice place and so much goodies to eat. How about ice cream and churros together? Did they have that? It's incredibly good. You're really make the videos so much joyful to watch and with interesting information. 😊
Since you live in san diego (I think) you should do a few videos about TJ. It's a foodie paradise. Tacos el Franc, Lionfish, Caesar's, El Yohgurt Place, Norte Brewing, Norte Burger, Kentucky Fried Buchas, Container Coffee, Las Ahumaderas the list goes on.
Thanks for the video Chris! I've been meaning to go. Only visited TJ and Rosarito couple of times. Also for La Michoacana they have locations in LA so if you're ever craving Mexican ice cream you can always stop on by (:
This tour of Ensenada made me want fo go. Even 5hough my Spanish is a little bit rusty ( haven't used it since my mom and I were in Barcelona in 2008) , but I think I could mudfle through even though the shopkeepers mostly speak English. I bet the Travelling Princess had an absolute ball on the cruise. Does the Disney Wish do longer cruises from San Diego? Does it go to Mazatlàn, Puerto Vallarta and over to Cancùn and the Riviera Maya?
I remember from the other video the traveling princess stayed at the daycare while you folks explored Ensenada, but daycare doesn’t feed the kids (due to allergy concerns?). So I’m super curious what did she eat for the day?
There's a nuance there... the "Oceaneers Club" for kids 3 to 12 doesn't provide food. The nursery for kids 6 months to 3 years old provides bananas, yogurt, and crackers. Our Ensenada day she was in the nursery. And she likes those foods 😀. We picked her up at 4pm and got her some fries from the pool deck before actual dinner
Sadly corporate greed ruined Mexican coke, most of the coke you find in Mexico is now in plastic bottles and basically the same us formula with Fructose Corn Syrup. It's very hard to find the original cane sugar glass bottle, ironically I personally find it easier to get in the US as all imported Mexican coke is still the original formula. PS, great selection of chips, I love Queso Ruffles! 😋

There's sea food all over the place in Mexico, sounds like a fish story for tourists and a tourist legend, and salt, Tequila and lime just make for a good story. your interdiction to Ensenada was a good video, I was there a few weeks ago, for me living in Tijuana for 46 years, there’s more to do In Tijuana, Live in Mexico an Anglo American for 46 years
Found Ensenada EXTREMELY underwhelming when we were there…just not much that seemed safe walking around and, as our only stop, this was Not the highlight of our 3 night cruise (we both basically thought, “Okay, this was like being stuck in downtown San Ysidro for five hours…no thanks”)

That was my first thought
I died laughing when i saw him take that bite 🤣🤣🤣
They were actually tostadas not tacos.

Thanks for the suggestion Clayton. While I grew up in San Diego we are in Orange County now.. TJ is just a bit of a haul now
😮That was pretty damn good
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!
I think this is the same stand that we ate at it ensenada when we went on the cruise.😮
Thanks for the video Chris! I've been meaning to go. Only visited TJ and Rosarito couple of times.
Also for La Michoacana they have locations in LA so if you're ever craving Mexican ice cream you can always stop on by (:
Yup! Had their ice cream in Anaheim too. They have a location near Disneyland
@@YellowProductions that's great! Glad to see my food be more accessible for everyone!
It’s my day off ! I feel like driving there I’m in LA! Only 3 hours away !
Sweet! Just be careful of the drive back.. the border wait can be rough

Hi Danielle, They definitely over longer cruises out of San Diego. We picked the shortest one to get our feet wet 😀
Amazing bro 👏 🙌 👌
Thanks ps2
If you go to the black market they make fresh tortillas as well for your tacos.
Oooh
Hell yeah! 1st to like and comment, thanks.
Well done! 😀
Wow, fish tacos looks so cool. Did you get a tummy ache from all the good food you ate? I want some mangonadas
Just a yummy tummy 😋
Muitas comidas deliciosas 😮
I’ve never had a churro with caramel in it. They look delicious.
They are!
@@YellowProductionsWere the churros really caramel or "cajeta"?
Love Mexican food trucks.
“Gee-oh-duck..” 🤣🤣🤣

As a Ensenada native They straight robbed this man 😂
Do you know where you can get passport stamped in Ensenada? What about beaches?
Hmm.. not sure. And we didn't visit the beach.
Never knew Disney sailed out of San Diego.
Since COVID they increased their San Diego sailings
I live in Tijuana fish tacos are a big thing in Baja.
You forgot the main attraction, Ensenada Luigi
Wouldn't mind seeing more of the town while you commentary and prices on like the fish tacos. Other than that good job.
Just in case you haven't seen it I also did a Harbor tour here: ruclips.net/video/JhAbYd5yfVE/видео.html

Ah. Makes sense why my plastic bottled coke didn't taste special 🤔
basically looks like DTLA
I never heard of this city before today. I'm only here because 2 Australians and an American are reported missing in this city.
How will I know how much things are when they say US dollars as pesos?
Pretty much everyone in the touristy area of Ensenada speaks e English so you can just ask them how much it costs in whatever currency you're using
Any Mexican Vanilla?

$10 for two tostadas? Crazy expensive
RIGHT?!! Came straight the comments to see who else thought the same

The accent is on the first syllable of the word "Hussong's".
They have a Hussong's at Mandalay Bay as well, the food and the service was not impressive. Hopefully the original one you went to was better.
Didn't eat there.. but it only seemed like people were drinking

Tacos corona across the street is way better

10$ for a tostado?? Go a few blocks into town.

How are you going to compare Ensenada (a small port town to San Ysidro? 😂
$10 for two tacos in Mexico just seem bizarre 😅
Never get Coke in a plastic bottle in Mexico. Always get Coke in the glass bottle for the best flavor.
Thanks for the tip!
I don't think they even sell it in Mexico any more. I'm pretty sure it all gets imported to the USA
I have eaten at that cart. It os cash only, folks.
The Fish Taco cart took credit cards
Is Montezuma's revenge still a thing in Mexico? I love horchata, but..💩
Yeah. Probably... we only did bottled soda
$10 lol. Should’ve been more like 3$ each. Maybe 2.50.
10 dollars for a tostada ? You got robbed
Sacred flags with a very proud history behind.....anyone noticed any resemblance to a certain Florida flag?

What a stupid thing to say
