- In our Carnival Radiance Ensenada Port day we will bring you along as we do our adventure for the day. Our last port on the Carnival Radiance cruise is Ensenada Mexico. Instead of doing a cruise ship excursion, we decided to do our own adventure in the city. It was easy to walk into town and go shopping. We also stopped in a local taqueria and got some lunch.

I plan to book one also in February 2024? What deck did you book? I wonder if deck 6 midship is ok since it’s above deck 5 , which have bars and arcade. Will it be noisy? Is deck 8 midship better?
Most thorough and helpful video of many I’ve seen to prepare for this cruise with granddaughters and their parents next month. Much less apprehensive about visiting this port now. Thanks so much for your efforts. P.S. So Rob opted out of the on-air taste testing, huh?

Most of the time we drive down there. But this is the first time we are going on the cruise (radiance ) we are very familiar with enzenada and your video brings back a lot of memories thanks for sharing my friend

We haven't done a west coast cruise yet, but we will someday. All those long Hawaiian cruises have to stop in Ensenada even for just an hour or so. Thanks for showing us around this was very helpful!

It was about 20 minutes
Im looking at carnival firenze. This is one of the ports. All 10 of my previous cruises were in the carribean. I think its time to try the west coast!

We cruise out of Galveston, but we want to do the west coast of México. Gonna try that El Chente taco place.
Is there a beach where you can walk to near there without excursion? My wife and I are going in November

Hello. Can you also simply book an excursion on-site at the cruise terminal? For example, to the Blow Hole or a city tour?
Are there any beachy type spots nearby that are easy to get to?

How many miles was it from ship to center of town. Have a wheelchair and would like to know how far it would be.
I would say around a mile, it took us 20 minutes. It is flat, and I think it could be done.
The Carnival Firenze will do its Maiden voyage in May of 2024. Ensenada is on the itinerary❤❤❤

about how far is it from the boat to downtown where you shopped and then over to lunch? taking my mom and she has limited mobility but has a wheelchair when she gets tired.

Do you need a passport ? My girlfriends passport expires on Saturday the day before we get to Ensenada on Sunday . I was told you don’t need it by carnival when I called just ID & birth certificate but my brother went on one and said when you get on the van in Mexico they ask to see everyone’s passport ?

We exchanged but they'd probably take it a less favorable exchange rate
Do you have to have a passport?
No, only ID and birth certificate are required as long as you arrive and leave on the ship. But if say you have a family emergency and want to fly back home earlier I think you run into some issues without a passport
