Vending would definitely be a plus in an area where things close down at night. He could even begin with just soda machines for a trial. However, if he decides to expand to a candy machine or two, it may be best to build a small bay for vending monitored by a camera because vending machines are always targets for criminals. It is something to think about.

Theres a big name car wash in my city that has bought a retired diy car wash and put in unlimited time diy car wash bays for $7 a piece or an automatic drive thru for $5. The unlimited car wash membership is $25/month and $10/month per extra vehicle on the membership.
We've got a friend that did that and SWEARS its the best model either - It's a gated deal, so you drive into the gate system, and essentially get unlimited time. Neat concept, just not sold on it.

I've talked with thousands of successful small/mid-sized business owners and not a single one has ever achieved worthwhile, lasting results from RUclips/social media, regardless of account size. Over time their responses became predictable-never favorable. Engagement rates and potential for return is typically so minimal that it ends up barely worth the time spent to create posts/videos. OTOH what works is what you said-Maps, SEO, effectively-designed site etc., often along with things like SMS-marketing and the right local advertising. Those kinds of strategies you mentioned are productive at the start _and_ long-term. Seems like common sense considering how people use the internet, but newer businesses still fall into that 'hopium' .. falsely believing social media is effective "free advertising" to consistently create awareness and increase profitability in one's target market. 1:32 → 1:40 hopefully Roman is working on SEO/directional advertising....if I were him I wouldn't even sleep well until those basics were in place 😊

I left alot out in the video on the maps/etc deal. We have 200+ cars a month that come solely from Google maps because of placement.
