I like how your videos convey this very organic and "close to nature" atmosphere. It might sound a bit overly emotive, but they somehow let you smell the cold air and feel the wet earth under your fingernails - if that makes any sense.
You can't go wrong with a video in iceland, I mean, everything looks so beautiful, magical, it's so wonderful...okay i'm about to cry of how beautiful is this.
As for beautiful places in your own countries, well that's very true. But there are very few that are so consistently foreign, exotic and alien as this place is, except if you go to perhaps Antarctica. The untouched beauty is just phenomenal.. I just hope it remains 'untouched' in this ever changing world.
It is nearly a fairytale. I've been to many countries and Iceland is extremely unique in so many ways. Her nature is absolutely beautiful year round (green or snowy) and her people are amazing. I wish there was a fairy portal there since it would save a bit of money but WOW Airlines and IcelandAir can get you there just fine. My one suggestion is that you should rent a car and journey into the countryside. We do that every time we go... Also, Solstafir's cd's can be found in every musick shop on the island! :-)

For the 100th time. When we did this video 10 years ago, we had borrowed an old Land Rover to use. When we arrived on location, we found out the Land Rover was broken. The owner offered us his old soviet jeep instead, and he happened to have painted this on it. These jeeps became popular in Iceland in the 50s and many got imported from the Soviet Union.

Add the mesmerising video which accompanies the song, and you have three senses being indulged to the most: Vision, Hearing and the Inner Sense that's coming through the heart.
