because When I watched this video for first time, I told I have to visit the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania.

As beautiful as Iceland is, seeing something else can be nice for a change, especially when it's your Motherland.
The two main locations they filmed at are Kryžių kalnas (The Hill of Crosses) in Lithuania, and the abandoned town - kinda like the Pripyat of northern Europe - is Skrunda in Latvia.
Both are worth a visit if you ask me, talking from experience.
Why was the town abandoned?
There was a secret soviet military base nearby and town was built for employees and officers of that base. When russian army left Skrunda base in 1990s town was abandoned. However in 2017 town was taken over by Latvian army who will use it as training place for urban warfare.

Yup, me and my friends went there this year and got kicked out by one of the soldiers training there. We thought we would be charged for trespassing but it seems the soldier who kicked us out didn't care much about it
The scene with the Volga car (2nd generation, I suppose. Sometimes we see one of them on local classic car shows) is particularly strange.
This is a progressive- atmospheric- heavy-rock instant classic album of historic proportions. This has to be to best band in the world that not too many people have heard of.

Just another happy song of solstafir!
My grandma died last year , on may 27th , and this song brings back memories, mixed memories with her last moments and when we were kids and spent summer with her and my grandpa. This song is for her and grandpa. Will always love them .It brings sadness that we lost our loved ones yet another feeling rushes in , sort of an inner peace. Thank you Solstafir for helping my soul heal with this song . Will see you tomorrow in Brasov

this song hits something very deep in my soul....just stunning.....the emotion in his vocals is so deep and spot on that I always know what their songs are about long before I ever read an English translation...this band is gorgeous and perfectly melodically sad while somehow still always making me feel better......
