I struggle to describe the connection I have with this band and song. As a fisherman heading out to sea at 4am, these guys bring it all into context, That is all I can say.

Director of Fjara, Lagnætti, and Bláfjall, weighing in, here. And I just gotta say, this is the greatest performance of this song, EVER. Addi’s scream at 8:17 makes my bones quake, and it’s an absolute CRIME that this song didn’t get a proper music video - although, I understand why, of course.. Great band, Addi has helped me through a lot of stuff, personally, and I love these guys to death... Rock & Roll.
Definitely the best version of FJARA....better than the album version IMHO. The vocals are much higher in the mix, raw, and emotional.
I absolutely love Sólstafir and the videos your directed for them. When each note and lyrics is matched with stunning visuals and storytelling. When meaning meets feeling and vice versa. Just brillant work you did for them and for us , thank you
His scream is what i hear in my head when i think of my late wife still miss her.
And the guitar building up to it from 7 minutes too. Whole last couple of minutes perfect, with all the band obviously 'in the zone'!

Sounds nothing like a piano on CD unless you've got some weird version I've never heard.
When the music is made with passion and emotion, whoever hears is infected by the feeling, it is the case of this disc.

Nordic metal is the best!
I like the banjo incorporated and the guitar sounds. It reminds me of a journey and being of viking heritage a rough one at that.
