The OEM port would charge both batteries and propably overcharge the extra battery bypassing the BMS. This should not be possible. I assumed the battery that's coming with my scooter was a 7800mah. Am I just going to have to wait for it to arrive so I can see mah rating. Because there's no point just having a high max amp rating if it's only going to last a few minutes. I need to power 1000 watts to get the most out of this pre restricted scooter I'm getting. I would just call that 10 amps or could it be more seen as amp ratings are always higher than mah ratings. This is why I usually just stick to gasoline powered things there's no confusion it's as simple as it gets. To top it all off there alot of crap batteries that lie about there ratings and that's individual cells and cheap packs use those cells so who knows what your getting. In my rc aircraft I always just went by mah to determine the continuous amps I need. And c ratings doesn't mean alot at all seen as even the top brands lie about there c ratings. So you just pick something with the highest c which is probably around the 25c I need. Get a cheap battery that says 25c it's probably just a paper weight.
