Group 1 crosses over to group 2 by 2 nickel sheets. That wont carry my hopeful of 40 amps right? I would need to stack?
Also in groups series are 3/2 pyramid. I would need to stack those nickels too right?

No, if every battery was made like this they would be fine. They catch fire when BMS's dont function properly.
