@@JC50000000 what did you expect them to do with him? Have a knife fight with Marty? He’s a walking talking gun. Theres no way to kill him other than in a blaze of glory, like an explosion, or quietly, by surprise, like this.
For me Richard Thomas was quite a revelation on the show. I was one hundred percent convinced that his holier-than-thou character was almost as scary as the drug guys. Wendy's warped sense of situational ethics and intense desire to please the cartel bosses makes a lot more sense--she is repeating old patterns.
Remember when it comes to Ruth "Sleep is the cousin of death". She has been underestimating the danger the cartel poses since she lashed out and killed Javi. Beautiful cat!
Gotta think Marty and Ruth still have an unspoken appreciation for each other. Everyone is realizing just what a psycho Wendy really is. Haven’t watched the finale yet until you do but I’m still sticking to Marty makes it out of this with the kids and Wendy meets her end. Man I can’t wait
For some reason, Wendy hammering on that window and shouting was one of my favorite scenes in OZARK. She is her own kind of crazy. Rational thought is not enough to keep some people sane.
Wendy showed how much she loves her "family" in the first episode with her affair. In a normal setting that would have ended things anyway. She is a monster who only cares about herself.
Agreed! Idk why, but this episode just bugged me the most. I love Ruth’s character but she aggravated me in this episode, Rachel killing Nelson annoyed me, and this whole daddy/daughter drama between Wendy and Nathan wasn’t final season material, IMO, and definitely not 2nd half of the final season worthy.
I got a little teary eyed when Ruth was telling the sheriff to let the boy go who was in jail talking about all he was guilty of was being poor and being an asshole. She did the right thing
Ruth annoyed me this episode and honestly, I’m sick of hearing about Wyatt at this point 🤷🏾♀️, lol. I could go on a full rant about Wendy, but all I’ll say is that it takes a special kind of selfish to hold your family mentally & emotionally hostage by committing yourself. And finally, RACHEL takes out NELSON??? That annoyed TF out of me. I don’t mind that Nelson died, but by Rachel?? Like that? 🤔🙄
RIP Nelson. You will NOT be missed! 🙄 P.S. I hope you watch The Wilds & Yellowjackets! They're so good & wild! 😂 Can't wait for The Boys reaction vids soon ❤️
Its amazing that you don't understand why she did that with Jonah!😂 She made sure she knew Marry could get it cleared up. She was trying the only way she knew to get him away from Darlene and Ruth's dumb operations because she KNOWS its not safe for him. HELLO?! 🙄 Her kids are everything to her.
Wendy isn't underrated at all lol, she's the main reason I watch and I'm completely clueless how people are not seeing she's is 95% right on most things.
Unfortunately this half of the season was incredibly rushed and the writer's room didn't come up with any good answers to that problem. No idea why they couldn't just make the first half of the season + Javi's death be one whole season, and then give this second half a full season's worth of episodes to wrap it up.
Thank you to the coments about the BCS finale, not sure what possess' people to the Ozark reaction and post spoilers aboit the BCS finale. I love these reactors and this is the first time I have seen spoiler, and you felt compelled to spoil another show that they react to. YOU SUCK
Ruth’s entire story this half has revolved around Wyatt being taken out by the cartel but now all of a sudden in this episode she becomes so flippant and dismissive of said cartel’s threat level?? Doesn’t make sense.
Money needs to be clean. End of. Rachel and Ruth were annoying as hell this episode. Water boarding needs to be on the agenda. Arrogance will get you nowhere.
The Rachel,Ruth plot was terrible. Ruth could never out smart Marty and Wendy. Then run Darlene's drugs and think the cartel will just be ok with it??? She's not that dumb
Well I did warn that Ruth seems to be turning Dark...She deserves Nothing,She made many more mistakes than Marty has... Bad dark mistakes.😒 Marty is Still staying rational and sane,He is still after everything has happened trying to keep his family safe and deal with everything as he always has.
ruth had no way to take over the casino, darlene only held a small share so the writers really fucked up the continuation a few times in the last season. love the show but they got super sloppy
almost there fam!!!!!!!! Check out the full watch-a-long REACTION: bit.ly/3MITbyW
For me Ruth doesn’t really care whether she lives or dies at this point. Losing Wyatt broke something in her so she’s just got a screw it attitude.
I'm fine with that but the writer forgot about the relationship between Ruth and Marty and to let Ruth disrespect Marty that much, it felt odd.
Rachel climbing up the side of the trailer on the ladder has to be one of the most suspenseful scenes of the whole show for me.
I was so glad she shot that dude because he would have done the same with no hesitation
come on now. you must have been watching a different show over the last few years or just love to exaggerate
whaaat, i was pissed at that scene... it looked like such a quick and stupid way to kill nelson.
@@z_mentz614 it was suspenseful, though, I had expected Nelson to find Rachel, shoot her, then go after Ruth.

It hurts so much that Marty and Ruth are no longer a strong bond they once were:(
"Who? Who are you going to kill?" "What do you mean WHO?" High comedy in this context.
For me Richard Thomas was quite a revelation on the show. I was one hundred percent convinced that his holier-than-thou character was almost as scary as the drug guys. I love the fact your cat joined you for this reaction. It's like he knew you would need the emotional support to get through this!😬👍

28:32 Yep. This episode left me speechless, as well. There's some crazy shit going down.
"Welcome back to the Ozark, Rachel!" Good one.
34:52 I completely agree with you there. Don’t want to spoil anything but I feel that way about the finale as well.

I got a serious vibe, from that one glance, that Wendy is going to kill Marty. That's how this series ends, I think. Or, her trying to do it...

the cat purring made me thought that was my cat purring
Would be cool if in the next episode you guys discuss who you want to come out on top by the end of the last episode!
I feel like Ruth does not give AF and doesn't care if she dies still. Wyatt really messed her up. Eveyone is at wits end.
