Hello Andrew, this is a great series, thank you. Perfect for really focusing on the boats. I really like the format of the tree parts, it works very well and it was “almost” like being back in class with you. Great!! Monica
Thanks Monica. Glad you like the videos. We have just made another but there is quite a lot of wind noise as it was extremely windy. It will be released next week. Hope all is well. Best wishes, Andrew.
Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials! I’ve learned so much. I was wondering if you would consider doing a demonstration of a still life painting - I’d be interested in seeing your strategies and techniques!
Thank you for the inspirational tutorial. I learnt a lot about colour mixing. May I ask what tool it is you used to scrape the colour out at the end of the video?
Great work! Could I ask, Are you using very thick matts for your framing, or are they double thick? Nice style with the white frames, I like it. Double thick or good quality matts go a long way in the end.
Andrew ji ....amazing..... the way you bring to life small small details, emphasising on the direction of the light and the shadow is simply mindboggling ....hats off to you Sir The beauty is how simply you simplify everything just with the touch of your brush and your casual narration. You are gifted. I found the colour cakes in your pallette shining. Do you add water to them before starting ? Always with a question, right. Thats my curiosity being am unskilled beginner. Good day Sir, Nathan from India.
Thanks for your kind words. I use watercolour paint from tubes instead of cakes/pans of paint. That’s why my paint is soft. Tube colour is much easier to use. Good luck.
Inspirational! Love the advice, ‘ paint everything once before you paint it twice’! Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.

Thanks for getting in touch. I use double thick acid free mounts when framing, however they are expensive, unfortunately. www.andrewpitt.co.uk
