Another excellent painting and demonstration together with the usual useful comments. Thank you Andrew.
However, there is another important aspect which seems to go under the carpet, yet adds another dimension to watching the video. And I'm talking about the camera work which switches constantly and follows your every move. Congratulations on that, it makes it so much more pleasant to watch and enjoy. It's like standing in the studio with you.
Very few other artists do such demonstrations.
Thank you and look forward to more.
Also, pleasant to watch a snow scene from the lovely hot days we are experiencing in Melbourne.

Many thanks for your encouraging comments. We are all amateurs when it comes to filming. My wife films with a hand-held camera, but our son does all the hard work. When he started editing the films from all the cameras he quickly realised the best approach was to, as he put it, “follow the brush’’. And this seems the easiest method to help students get maximum benefit from the videos. Thanks for taking the trouble to get in contact. www.andrewpitt.co.uk

Ty for Sharing your experience and knowledge. I am slowly putting the pieces together in this Puzzle that is Watercolour Painting. As I get Older I am becoming a Visual Learner and in some ways feel even in the World of RUclips that it is not always the easy way to Learn . Many post Videos and shouldn't, Many post but don't teach or just try and Sell something and then the very few and far between are Artists like yourself that can and do teach and pass on Knowledge freely. I am living on my Small Sailboat on the East Coast of the United States and Watercolour is a Perfect fit on a Boat in countless ways. I am going to explore your Website for any Videos I can Purchase to have on Board. Ty again.

After discovering your RUclips channel and watching a few demonstrations, I decided to watch your demos without sound to see weather I could predict the colour mixing and the following steps of brush strokes and found it very stimulating and I am thrilled to have found your contribution through You Tube to people like me who had dreamt to pain from a young age but denied the opportunity. I tried my best to find a metal pallet like yours as the mixed colour beads beautifully in the center to dip the brush in. However, I failed to find any palette with smooth ceramic coating. The ceramic palettes I have stains and paint spread and dry as I mix them. Regret moving away from UK as I find all quality painting materials seem to be exorbitantly priced. Anyhow, regrets aside, thank you ever so much for your contribution. Wish I live in UK and taken some lessons. Thank again for sharing your knowledge. Your book I would love to have but must save up… but am sure it is filled with simple thought provoking ideas… will get them in time… thanks again.
