It’s all about the tuning, these trucks are made to last so the focus is not on performance as much as it is on reliability, one you tune the truck thou, and at your own discretion because many warranty’s do not cover a tuned up truck, you will see a big improvement.

I haven’t ever seen that color in person before. How rare is it? I have been trying to buy a Tacoma for more than a year but the prices are ridiculous, all the dealers near me want $3-5k over sticker. I’m holding out for a 4x4 TRD Off Road.

Awesome truck! I've been thinking of getting a new 2020 Toyota Tacoma 4WD Off-Road V6 AT with the 6ft Bed but the cheapest price I've been able to find it for is $39k out the door price and I've been having a hard time justifying that price tag because I can basically buy two 2020 Toyota Corolla's for that price but man looking at this video makes me want a Tacoma even more now.
WiseSilverWolf I was shopping for a new 3rd Gen Tacoma and ended up getting a 2014 TRD Off-Road with 39k miles. The 4.0 is WAY better motor.

Tacomas right now have $3,000 - $5,000 mark up due to market demand. My 2021 Tacoma Off Road 4x4 with the 6 speed manual was $56k after taxes and registration. Adding accessories and lift. Its a $75k rig

just wanted to say i had a 2017 taco but wanted a bigger truck for my family cause my wife was squished in the front. But i had the same problem as you do i get the STI or the tundra .... i went with the tundra for more room and great video man.

I like the truck! 2 things i don’t like the rims for off roading for the city yea but not for off roading and the headlight when they change into different colors! Other than that its a sick truck! Keep it up

Thats a perfect lift for that truck also not over kill with monster tires & huge (heavy) bumpers etc.... I have same truck 2017 taco trd off-rd & white lol so yea down in power but really not too bad. I guess its tuned that way to last for million miles. BTW: Did you do the recall on the A/c I had my A/c replaced 2X + 1 recall. ( its blows real cold but fan/ airflow is not great)
Put some sick mud flaps on there son! Bet you would like the look too. I think they are under rated and I love them, and they do work as far as wheel spray.

Ive got the BDS 6" kit without COs I put it on a brand new TRD OR. Figured id keep the stock bilsteins for awhile since they were brand new and I paid for them. Sad thing about this kit is you have to run at least 18 inch rims. Wish I could've gotten 16 or 17s but 18s with 35s still look pretty damn good. Not a fan of the 20s but to each their own. The BDS kit though is great and looks the best of any drop bracket kit. I wanted the extra breakover clearance and it works perfectly for that. Gone pretty hard on it.
If you're going to go past 3 Inches don't go anything but BDS.
Why do you have to run an 18?? Im on a six inch lift on 17's? If you got the wheel offset wheel diameter doesn't matter as long as you clear the caliper and rotors

Oh man, that truck rocks, I was looking for a video for ideas for my off road tacoma that I HAVEN'T BOUGHT YET.😂But am looking at one at dealers. At moment I own a dodge Dakota sport with added hood scoops, lift kit, big mud tires, extra pin stripping, very sharp looking truck but getting old its a 2001. Im no mechanic so I needed to know what kind of kit, or leveling, or whatever to lift it for big tires. Love love love your truck!!!!!

Sick truck. Love the exterior look, lift, tires and bumper. Not a huge fan of the interior but to each their own. Double thumbs up for the 6 spd. I have a 2018 Taco and easily have spent $25K in mods too. You get what you pay for and you can't beat the value & dependability of a Toyota. FYI a decked out Jeep Gladiator Rubicon will cost around $64K for comparison.
JR LaVallee, MD I feels! All personal preference. I love the 6 speed. I recently got a 5.29 re gear done and it’s sitting in my garage and I’m on vacation so I can’t drive it yet but I’m so stoked to see how much better it drives with the re gear when I get home
