I'm no modder or game designer, but I always wondered why people would always make mods of GBA pokemon games or make their own from scratch, but nobody ever really did stuff with Colosseum/XD besides a very very scarce few. I'm sure it's a lot harder to do it to the 2 Gamecube Pokemons than the GBA ones, but surely if possible, no matter the difficulty, at some point there'd be some people making big mods or romhacks. Would be awesome if there could be mods made to Colosseum/XD like fanmade areas and/or stories. The Orre region was a great concept, and I wish it got a bit more focus and love.
@@goalhornfanatic9449 Even small changes in XD or colo can be really time comsuming since the changes you make have to go through many processes in order to be implemented into the game.
Scripting is possible for XD but it isn't for colo yet. Meaning it's not possible to add new areas or change the story itself(yet)
But they are working really hard on it though so there's a good chance you'll see that happen in the near future.

@@Mugiwara1 I did try to change it to pikachu but all I got is a constant pikachu with it's kicking animation when it uses a kicking move.
@AlbBoy15 Ahhh. Thanks for the reply! It's always been a dream as a kid to add following Pokemon to the Orre games haha but it's unfortunate to see that it won't work having Pikachu as a follower :/

just curious: is the model from Colo or XD? I've heard that the XD model is better
@@MeanMisterTaxman It's the model from colo itself. When I tried to import the one crom XD it just went T-posing.

I wonder if it changes your starter mons into Pikachu and Eevee, it should also change the gen 2 starters the Cipher grunts have into the gen 1 mons
@@machmach6981 It changes the starter mons to pikachu and charmeleon since I thought it fits more with Red.
