Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness and coliseum were ahead of their time in the Pokémon battling scene! I love these games still. It’s be cool seeing the original red final team like Pikachu, Snorkax, Laprass, Charizard, blastoise, venosaur

How did you get the alternate outfit? Is this a hacked rom? I stopped playing after I beat the main storyline. My Pokémon are all level 60- I got to level 80 Mt Battle
@@IcyNipz Yoo there you mean the alternatw outfit for red or for wes? 'Cuse if you want the red coat of wes you can download it as a patch on gamebanana and projectpokemon org. After the storyline you can also do the mt battle challenge to get ho-oh.

As much as I want to rage on this for immediately resorting to uber spamming and item antics, the new character portraits for all the pokemon are pretty sick and a large improvement over the originals.

Giving red his basic team from crystal would make him too predictable so my plan was to upgrade him to see what he can do with dem ubers lol. Yeah I agree with you man the portraits for all the pokemon still look sick to this day. Colosseum still holds up today compared to the mainline games.

Awesome, I'm downloading this but I don't have any clue as to how to install it. Another mod I'd love to have for this game, is a mod allowing me to have MewTwo.
@@mrnygren2 You also need to dowoad nups patcher and you need a clean unmodded colosseum iso. Open nups patcher and select the patch file and your iso rom and boom! It's patched and you get to play as red! You can also open your save file with pkhex and change one of your starter mons to Mewtwo! Hope this helps you out man!

@@Gamz567 On dolphin emulator. If you google it you can download it easy on their website. You also need a pokémon colosseum iso.
Would you say this game plays well in 16:9 aspect ratio?
Absolutely! It's even recommended to play it in widescreen. I even went a step further and play on ultrawide aspect ratio with a cheat code on a 3840x2160 monitor. All my videos are 21-9.

I was hella hyping this match specially when Espeon healed its burn and then this bloke proceeds to not use ice beam on Celebi purposely twice wtf what a noobster xD😅
I wonder if it changes your starter mons into Pikachu and Eevee, it should also change the gen 2 starters the Cipher grunts have into the gen 1 mons
@@machmach6981 It changes the starter mons to pikachu and charmeleon since I thought it fits more with Red.

@@Mugiwara1 I did try to change it to pikachu but all I got is a constant pikachu with it's kicking animation when it uses a kicking move.
@AlbBoy15 Ahhh. Thanks for the reply! It's always been a dream as a kid to add following Pokemon to the Orre games haha but it's unfortunate to see that it won't work having Pikachu as a follower :/
I'm no modder or game designer, but I always wondered why people would always make mods of GBA pokemon games or make their own from scratch, but nobody ever really did stuff with Colosseum/XD besides a very very scarce few. I'm sure it's a lot harder to do it to the 2 Gamecube Pokemons than the GBA ones, but surely if possible, no matter the difficulty, at some point there'd be some people making big mods or romhacks. Would be awesome if there could be mods made to Colosseum/XD like fanmade areas and/or stories. The Orre region was a great concept, and I wish it got a bit more focus and love.
@@goalhornfanatic9449 Even small changes in XD or colo can be really time comsuming since the changes you make have to go through many processes in order to be implemented into the game. Scripting is possible for XD but it isn't for colo yet. Meaning it's not possible to add new areas or change the story itself(yet) But they are working really hard on it though so there's a good chance you'll see that happen in the near future.
