    Good job Linda ! Did i see the moon house actually listed as one luxurious property and not broken up or is it still offered individually ? Wow they seem all so nice and each had their own pluses, tough choice, thanx Linda !

      @lindafossi1065 Год назад +2

      Hi Camille. The Moon Property is HUGE... so yes, you did see the main house listed I believe, at one time. There is also an assistant care, or limited care housing on the Easterly end of the property. All private from one another. It was quite the place 'in it's day'. I miss Billy Moon!

      @@lindafossi1065 thats so cool you knew him he sounds like a character. Interesting about the assisted care, i wondered what that was. She did a great job decorating its a place that can be challenging to get it right.

    I'm selling my house with the thought of Ajijic as my new home.
    Is it possible to show houses under $200,000?

    These houses are extremely high for mexico, since the Americans started investing in real estate there, house prices are over the roof. I wouldn't trade my beautiful florida home for none of these inflated homes. We American are good at messing things up for the poor mexican people. smh.

    • @lindafossi1065
      @lindafossi1065 Год назад +3

      Hi Joan. Yes, for sure, that is one way to look at it...but the other way to look at it is this: We have provided amazing new jobs for a community that truly had very little opportunity of making any money above minimum wage. That has changed dramatically. Most families here truly love that we Americans, Canadians, and Europeans have moved into this particular area. But, you are also correct, that if they did not own a home already, it would be almost impossible to buy one now. But right outside of Ajijic proper to the East, we have San Antonio, Riberas del Pilar, and Chapala that still have very affordable homes and are probably about 70% Mexican owned. And in the Westerly direction, we have the thriving Mexican towns of San Juan Cosala and Jocotopec; which are probably 95% Mexican owned (not Raquet Club though, that is expensive and was when I moved here 23 years ago). So there is a balance...but I truly do get what you saying... Thanx for watching and mostly thanx for your comments.

      One thing you need to know Joan, the price for real este is never “inflated”. If there are people that value it enough to purchase it, that tells you they agreed the price to value was good enough to make a purchase. I understand to you the price may seem inflated but if it sells, that person didn’t think so.
      By the way, I live in Poinciana in one of the top 5 retirement communities in the US and we are definitely looking to move to Mexico because the value for is not inflated. 😮

      @@marciooliveira3566 Hi Marcio. Thank you for your excellent explanation of 'value' in the housing market ~ no matter where that land/construction is located; if the home sales; it was priced for the current market/buyers. Of the five home in this video; all but one have sold; and very quickly, I might add. I'm sure the West Ajijic home for $465K will sell as soon as our 'sunbird' season kicks in. Again, thank you for your comment and hopefully also for clicking on like and subscribe. Cheers, Linda Fossi

      @@marciooliveira3566 I am a real estate agent, I own two properties for which I bought cash. But I was referring to Americans moving to Mexico to do real estate causing the cost to go higher than in America, I want to move there too, but it wouldn't make sense to give up what I have. (debt-free lifestyle) No, thank you!

      @@vChilem Hi there. Thank you for your response. Yes, price is all relative to what you are used to. Some think to high, others think fair. It all depends on what you get for that money. I, of course, do not make the rules for these developments, I just report and facts! Ha. Thank you again for taking the time to comment. Linda
