    This woman is a legend and has created a house which should be an Art Museum. Why is she not famous, and why do great artists like this have to die before they are recognized? Recognize her now, and know that whomever purchases this property will end up a billionaire.

      Well #3494! You ROCK! Thank you so much for your awesome comments. From your lips to God's ear and some buyers heart! ....a billionaire?!? Wow. Love how you think!

      Hi. Quirky! I love that. Not sure what it exactly means, but love it anyway. Thank you very much for watching such a long video (we are making a 15 version next week and 'directly' seriously quirky lovers or buyers to view that long version....(I wish we could add emoji's...but no such luck); anyway...in the 15 minute version I will just do an intro and outro and the camera will do the rest)! Have a great Sunday. Cheers, Linda

    Not just a house, a work of art decades in the making. The ultimate combination of art, living space, view and location. Arguably the premier home in the premier Lakeside community of Ajijic. Good luck on your sale, it is worth every penny and someone is going to enjoy it as much as you obviously do.

      Do you know if this luxury place include the firecrackers, church bell gongs, parades? Do you know if it has a car port/garage or do you have to park in the street?

    • @danielhouck1103
      @danielhouck1103 11 месяцев назад

      The church bells are quite lovely and give a nice European feel to the neighborhood without being too loud. We live across the street and enjoy the sound very much. If one can't handle the cojetes, one should not live in Mexico. The parades are on Constitucion, a block to the north and quite fun to watch, particularly Mardi Gras. It has a spacious garage under the Casita.@@montealegre_rp

      @@montealegre_rp Hi Again Monty. Well, to be perfectly honest, MEXICO is NOT...anywhere in Mexico, is NOT a quiet country...but there are levels. Here is East Ajijic Village we have 'less than most'...and we KNOW exactly what are issues are. Most places that are a little more outside of town, you never know when an inexpensive house is going to be turned into an eventos with parties that go all night of the week....but here, we are all built up, so we KNOW our issues. And yes, every late Oct for 9 days, we have a wild carnival celebrating our Virgin patron and there are rockets...and yes, you hear them here; but not like you are living in central..and YES,...young boys will buy the hand held rockets and walk around with them and shot them off...on occasion...usually only holidays. No parades go down this street. And yes, coming from the Privada (house runs street to street) lucky me...I have a single car garage, standard for the village due to the value of the land. But it is also a Privada, meaning little to no traffic, so parking on the street for extra cars, is normal. Although, one car is all you really need here. I hope that answers your questions. And thank you for asking. Cheers Linda

    Taking the time to watch the entire video was worth it to be able to experience this one-of-a-kind home. I watched Linda work on her creation while I lived in Ajijic before moving stateside in 2020. The most impressive was building the mosaic on the pool deck. Rain and summer heat did not deter her for the four years it took to complete it. I remember the huge Christmas dinner and the pool parties with the diving exhibitions at pool parties. Some much fun and joy always. The splash pad is a marvelous addition.
    The attention to detail in the design and execution of her vision is magnificent. If the first two floors weren’t enough, she added the penthouse in a total different style. Beautifully designed and furnished while taking full advantage of the 360-degree views of the village, the mountains, and the lake. The best designs, the best materials, and unique furnishings throughout interact seamlessly to fulfill Linda’s vision for this awesome home. Bravo Linda

      Hi Ken Caldwell, how fantastic to hear from you and read all the lovely and kind words you wrote. It's truly very special to have someone who actually watched me create, design, build, and create the art for this spectacular home. It was the most adventurous creation of my life (to date)...but I know besides the current new build, called the Deco House, there are five more in the near future! I don't think I'll ever stop doing this as long as I am able! I do plan on taking some time out after Bellissima~The House of Beauty sells, to spend several months abroad and rejuvenate myself with inspiration for Italy, Spain, France, and Portugal. Life is meant to be both challenging and tons of fun. I hope you are having more of fun times than the challenging times right now. Thank you for your comments. As always, Linda

    Linda, if you invested personal time/money to make this home a boutique hotel, why did you quit on your goal? Good luck with your venture.

      Hi. I wrote you a response right away and then failed to click reply and it disappeared. So here I am again. I NEVER built Bellissima to be anything OTHER THAN my personal home. And I lived in it as just that until I fell in love and my partner thought this would make a great Boutique hotel and would then have something fun to do. I had lived here, as my personal residence, from 2004 until about 2016 and was already a top Realtor in town and never wanted to change that. But as 'life goes'...not all relationships work out....but since I'd put so much money into it and made this great website, I decided to run it and I did and gave up my RE career for about two years. Then, LUCKY for me (in this one sense) COVID hit and I had the perfect excuse NOT to do that anymore and it reverted back to my personal home in 2019. Now, it is the perfect home, but it can also be the perfect home and money making proposition also, as it has tons of space. It really just depends on the person who ends up buying it. I hope this all makes sense to you. Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment. Cheers, Linda

    Why are you selling this beautiful house?

    • @fossidoesmexico4027
      @fossidoesmexico4027 11 месяцев назад +3

      Hi Shaw. Well, I know....I know. It kind of a fluke really. I am a designer, developer, builder, stylist, and real estate agent. And the last home I developed, designed, and is now almost done...was meant to be FOR SALE at about $1.5M....but, for some reason, I just fell in love with it and decided to sell my home and move into that home....and I know in three years (when capital gains lessen), I will sell that home and move into one of the five other homes I am developing right now. It's just about life, I guess. And change is good. The great thing is I'm a stones through away! Thanks for commenting and thanks for watching! Linda

    Were your building modifications done by an improvised "maestro de construcción" or did you apply and get a Licencia de Construcción para superficies mayores de 50 metros cuadrados, otorgado por la Ley de Ingresos del Municipio de Chapala? If you did not get a construction license, especially for your loft, an inspector can visit you (at the request of a potential buyer) and fine you. Worst case scenario, you could be ordered to tear the loft down.

      WOW! How can I even begin to speak to this....an 'eye witness' to my life and creation.... Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful remarks. It means the world to me that people who actually KNOW me take the time, in their new lives in different countries, to not only watch an hour long video (I am trying to get that changed into 'segments'...but unfortunately, I do not have the control of those decisions...we shall see how it turns out); but back to you and taking the time not only to watch but to also comment about so much of what I spoke about. What a joy to read. It validates that what I said is the truth...and nothing but the truth. Thank you so much and I accept with open arms and humble tears in my eyes, the "Bravo Linda" finish. Much love and happiness to you, Linda
