The people of mexico are the most beautiful part of mexico 😊
The beautiful people YES and the Food too.
@@kellyname5733nope, they're there to serve us. Wtf people you never heard of them mistreating their own people? Jeez y'all americans disgusted me for not peeling your eyes wider. They preach being lovely but their indigenous people and countrymen get disrespected, talk I'll behind their back. I've seen these mexicans, also say it is culture to speak double meaning sentences preaching and involving sexuality you cannot longer speak normal since there's always any sexual meaning behind it, these guys take life too lightly plus if you trynna speak proper Spanish, these folks laugh and mock at you badly. They lack the respect americans have to spare.
in a small city, yes, in the big cities, they are awful, especially leon gto.
And the beaches, the mountains, the architecture, the food…….❤
Re: the kindness of strangers. My wife and I (both 70) were on our 3rd trip to Mexico, exploring the mountains of Veracruz. We visited a place called Nace el Agua. It was very hot, much more strenuous than we anticipated, and to top it off, I forgot to bring a hat. The young man and woman who were apparently in charge of the place could tell we were struggling and were immediately on the case. They opened a restaurant early, got us food, and kept an eye on us while we explored Nace el Agua. Their concern and kindness was 100% genuine, not just 'part of the job'. I'll never forget it.
That sounds unforgettable! 100% wonderful!
we respect old people in Mexico, we don´t dump our parents in nursing homes.
@@sabinoluevano7447Don’t be so judgmental. Many don’t have the choice nor the funds to care for their elderly or sadly the time/effort necessary to care for a loved one. I’m a Mexican transplant of many years. Both my parents died before they needed assistance. But their care was always in the back of my mind. As a busy attorney practicing with my attorney husband not to mention two children and a household to care for, their care was always in the back of my mind. Our family in Mexico live in about a 10 mile radius. The closest family members here live 400 miles away. It is just different. It is just hard regardless of best intention.
Mexico is for Mexicans, visit and leave , there are to many extranjeros from usa other countries, and invasion from ilegals inmigrants, that are causing a lot of problems, and gringos no respecting are tradition , music and culture, here we speak spanish, respect or leave.
As a mexican who loves her Country, I hurt whenever I read all the bad publicity we get. I thank you very much for your video.
Aww that warmed my heart. It's my pleasure and honor to be here.
Unfortunately that is how the news media work. They'll pick the worst aspects of a city and present it as if the entire city is a horrible place to live. I see it with Detroit, Chicago and others.
It's the same with the homeless encampments in San Francisco. Certain groups enjoy presenting the homeless encampments in San Francisco as if the entire city is covered with them. and that there are only small islands where the homeless aren't around. Huge amounts of people have left. The homeless are concentrated in a couple of certain areas. Some people have left. But the demand for housing is still high as the prices haven't fallen a huge amount. It's still one of the more expensive cities to rent or buy a home in.
I heard with those communist firmly in power it will become cubazuela of the north. good luck, all the productive people will flee
It's unfair the bad publicity Mexico gets Laura. And now consequently you know (as do I) the bad publicity other countries get like Russia, China, and Iran can't be trusted.
It's usually the HYPOCRITICAL Republicans!
I left the USA in 2018. Moved to Mexico. It's been the very best thing I've ever done. The people here are top-notch in too many ways to count.
Agreed! I'm happy you're happy.
and your country want to invade us and ki..ll us, they do not care about our people and kids... they wanna ki...ll everybody to get all land, lithium, and all resources here like they did with the american natives also they are so racists
Mexico would be a great place to live if it didn't have kidnapping for ransom, corruption and extremely low wages. That is why most Mexicans come to America, not by choice but necessity.
Where?
I was born in Hawthorne, California. I’m 79 years old and I’ve lived for the past 47 years in Mexico. I’ve also lived in Europe (in Spain, Italy, and Portugal) for ten years, and in Ethiopia for two years. I love Mexico.
I lived in Hawthorne off Cornbloom. Absurdly dangerous area.
I was born & raised in Hawthorne in the 70s & 80s, grew up on 142nd & Washington, it was peaceful & clean back then.
Did you like Portugal?
I'm 69. Born and raised in Inglewood. Hello neighbor! I don't remember it being peaceful in the 70's and 80's. I loved watching the Fabulous Forum being built and, went to many concerts there, but never felt safe walking at night. I've been thinking about moving to Mexico, but fear I'm too old!
How did you like Ethiopia? Best wishes.
I am mexican living in Toronto 45 years. Soon I going back to MX for good.
I have a small house close to MX City. I am so happy.
I'm happy for you! Congrats! Felicidades!
So happy for you,GOD bless you and yours 🙏.
Hurry up. We don't want you here.
Lucky you. I want to move to CDMX but it’s expensive to rent there
very nice, I soon looking fwd to move back to mx city, have a vacation depa in tulum. Can't wait!
I traveled through Mexico with my son when he turned 16. We took a train from Nuevo Laredo to Mexico City then bussed south to Belize. When the train stopped in a remote city for an unannounced 4 hour layover I later found out many of the train’s employees, engineer, coachman, had family in that town and wanted some family time. I’m now 74 and am preparing to sell my home to move to Mexico. I’ll not bring American expectations but will graciously adopt and adapt to the loving slow paced nature of beautiful Mexico and its fine people.
I lived in Mexico City for about two years as a teen and traveled all over. My parents had to drag me onto the plane back to NJ. I had the best friends ever... what a place for great camping, horseback riding, caving to name a few. Mexican people are the best, hard to find the right words:)
Agree completely!
I love my Mexican people. They always help when in need and they are so friendly, so kind and hospitable something I haven’t really felt traveling to other countries.
"My" Mexican people?
I have had the opportunity to travel many countries but when I travel to mexico I feel very happy for many reasons.
Me too! Thanks for that sweet comment.
Same! Mexico feels like home to me... when I'm thinking about a travel destination, Mexico is always 1st on my list.
@@jamierandall3822watch them bastards. You don't know how they are in reality. Specially since you don't speak spanish, they're the most vicious, treacherous, back staving people there is. Ha, you call them LOVELY. PFF they're top notch more violent than any African country there is listed on record, look at statistics, that reflect their hidden personality.
I'm lucky enough to have dual citizenship and traveled back and forth to Mexico every summer growing up. I came back 20 lbs lighter every time. I honestly think it's the way America grows their crops and all the chemicals in our food. Food just tastes better in Mexico, whether it's an apple or a dish. Bless our farmers, all over the world.
I agree!
absolutely correct...too many chemicals, additives, in our North American diet
The unregulated processed food industry is killing Americans and spreading their evil products everywhere in the world. I eat only animal based foods, prepare food at home twice per day, never eat out, no seed oils, no sugars of any kind, no grains ever. I'm 66 and take no pharma, no supplements. Spouse and I are retired and traveling full time. I'm Argentinian in the USA for many decades but looking to relocate. We are healthy and having the best time of our lives. I have Mexican friends and very interested in visiting Mexico. Can you recommend places to visit?
I lost 20 pounds in the last year here in America by just eating a healthy real-food diet (no ultraprocessed anything). Blood pressure dropped 20 points.
Bless'em all.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing your experience. Before I moved to México, I was so stressed out and my health suffered for it. In nine months, I have been restored. Stress free, many new friends, and the heaviness of the States no longer impacts me. I am so very grateful as well. ¡¡Gracias y Cuídate!! 💙🙏💙
Well said. Amazing how a change in environment can effect everything!

Our richness as a country does not rely on money and wealth, thankfully it relies on our people. Nice of you to appreciate it. :) And yes, you have to change and modify completely your mindset 'cause things work totally different here, buy they do work and it suits us. Things and life are more relaxed in Mexico than the US, we just try to go with the flow. Have a nice stay.
Muchas gracias. I agree :)
Love your video!! I have been living in Mexico (Guadalajara) for 44 years. I met my husband while on a summer program with my university, and after 2 years of letter writing and visiting back and forth we got married , raised our family and are now retiring and enjoying our granddaughter. Our kids had an amazing education here. We have an architect, a UNICEF director, and a psychologist/translator. Mexico is a relatively unknown treasure, probably because of the bad publicity. But it is a lovely place to live!!!...Also the private healthcare is the best with great doctors and affordable prices.
That's great to hear! I'd like to spend more time in Guadalajara.
Very nice! And even if US citizens have the Mexican citizenship enjoy many rights like free medical assistance, medicine, free schools like universities. Mexican Presidente López Obrador is doing lots of changes in the government to benefit Mexican citizens and foreigners. 👍🏻
@@britanyfitzgerald5061 I have heard their private medical care system is so reasonable that even if you just pay cash it's 1/16th the cost of American medicine far more personally tailored. Example is doctors will come to you, and you can call them they call you ask how you are doing. It reminds me of medical care in the 1970's here in the US could get into a doctor office same day, and the doctor actually called you at home check on you. It's worse then ever now my wife having some back issues I can't believe how bad it's gotten here. 100 to 1 doctor patient ratios can't even speak to a doctor for more then 10 minutes all about money. I pay $375 a month out of my check for my wife and I for Cigna with a $3000 deductible. They denied her MRI and we had to pay $500 cash none of that went to the deductible. My employer was suppose to pay 1/2 the deductible that was 5 years ago now they only pay 1/4. Meds are now part of the deductible I don't even use my insurance for medicine I use good RX free online discount program. My employer is paying $250 a month were paying $600 a month for insurance mostly just a discount program.
Are you a T-Bird? My friends and I did a summer program at UAG and loved it there
Like you, after about 8 months here in this land of sunshine, wonderful food and beautiful people, I am happier then ever in my life. And, I've lost 27 pounds! I'm enjoying your videos and thank you for your positive outlook.
Amazing! We are alike! You didn't say where you are but I hope you love it :)
One of the most enjoyable success stories I have ever heard . I emigrated from Mexico when I was 12 years old . I lived in the USA from 1951 to 2010. 30 years before I left I knew I didn´t want to live to old age there . I left and ended up in Guatemala and now I hope to move to Mexico . Anyway , just like you , not one day of regret . Enjoy Mexico.
Abraham the vet is my vet for my two cats and two dogs,, and my neighbor. We are so lucky to have such a caring person right here in our little town.
You are! He was wonderful! Please thank him for me again. La Manzanilla is so cute too!
The kindest people I met were in Mexico 🇲🇽♥️♥️♥️
Loser mentality, no wonder why Mexicans r poor. Overshadow their own kind and if they try to succeed life's ladder y'all drag them down worshiping family and honor which in reality the vast mass population don't even preach to. Now I see why y'all get so much hate. Before it was inexplicably unfair, but now i have treated y'all, I don't feel bad you get what you deserve.
My dentist is in Guadalajara, so I spent about four weeks there in 2023. My number one emotion was embarrassment. Our neighbors are wonderful, caring, helpful people.
Don't believe the hate mongers in the US. There are way too many of them. I am tired of them running down America and saying such horrendous things about our beautiful neighbors.
Agreed!
You right!
Did you end up settling in a city? Or are you still driving around?
Those are mostly the HYPOCRITICAL Republicans!
@@mariwilson803 I live in Madison, Wisconsin. My dental work was significant, so even after flying down and having two vacations, I got excellent work and saved money.
If you ever get to Guadalajara, be sure to see its world class zoo! Mi gusta pinguino.
Mexico welcomes you. I experience weight loss every time I go to Mexico also. The food isn’t processed and made fresh every day.
It's called "Montezuma's Revenge"... Diarrhea will do that to you... It's not that their water has more germs that ours, it's just that it is different germs and our bodies are not used to it... From what I understand, the same thing happens when they come up here... For whatever reason, I've never had "Montezuma's Revenge" when I was down there and I never bothered to just drink bottled water... I figure it is all the hot peppers that I eat ends up killing any germs that might even *think* about attacking me...
I have been in Mexico since 2004. It was a wonderful move. So much more freedom. Nice people.
Agreed!
Yes, Mexico gave me health and happiness too.
Take advantage of these folks before it changes with their communist mindset.

Trancazos de la vida …
Thank you for this video! As a single female with 2 small dogs, I have wondered how to travel to Mexico with them. And traveling alone can present some challenges. Your video will give many people courage and answer some questions for them.
Glad it was helpful!
Back in the 80s we had a woman that moved in with her 2 children, next to us. My mom and her became long life friends, my mom did t speak english and she didnt fluent spanish. She was divorced and escaping from the "US way of life". We grew up toghether, they were open to all the experience, secundaria, prepa, and public universities, they eventually became part of the gang. These guys became my long life friends, both became normal happy persons married and with children. Their mom healed and eventually met a good man. Wasnt easy, wasnt express, but life opens in its own particular ways. Mexico is mostly, what you make of it.
Great video Mora! I'm glad your mental health improved and you look fantastic, congratulations on the weight loss! Thanks 🙏 for your service as a nurse.😊
Loved this video. We live in Mexico and I really appreciate how you have shown the positive side of life and some of the lovely smaller cities.
Thank you. Yes, lovely smaller cities is where it's at for me. Thanks for watching.

I am interested in the smaller cities and have lived in a small town most of my life..
I've seen many videos of good places to live in Mexico, but they are huge cities.. which l wouldn't like.
Diversity. From town to town you can see how diverse and beautiful Mexico is. People are kind and still open to foreigners.
Totally. In fact the further I get from the tourist trail the nicer people seem to be. Mexico is a large country and if you wanted to find a particular terrain or climate, you could probably find it :)
Great commentary. I do not get how some USA people can show animosity to Mexicans, & then you go to Mexico & Mexicans treat US people so much better. No deportation rheteric there.
@@rolandovivar6864 Americans are brought up to be hateful racists .
Good for you for taking a leap of faith and finding what makes you happy.

Mexico is truly incredible.
Indeed.
Nice video, young lady. I retired at 55 and moved to the middle of Mexico a quarter of a century ago. Best idea I ever had in my life. I never go above the border anymore.
Oh wow! Quarter of a century. You must love where you live.
The Beauty and Joy of gifting oneself and in turn gifting others...🦋
I have had similar experiences and just overall feelings. I go camping often and typically travel by motorcycle and Mexicans are kind throughout the country. I have never received a no when asking to camp on land. And almost always it ends up being something more, w offers of food and drink, sometimes a shower but always a place to wash your hands and face.
What really registers in your deep subconscious is that no matter how little people have in Mexico they are generous to a fault. I like your video and also enjoy pretty cities and small towns, but I have had great experiences in the middle of nowhere, which is 90% of Mexico, just natural beauty
Wow, you should make videos. I'd watch them! Sounds wonderful and it is good for the soul to see people treating other people well, even strangers. Thanks for your comment.
We are very happy to welcome people like you!!!

I feel the same way. I love Mexico! Best move I ever made! I am feeling happier, healthier, and far less stressed than at any time in the U.S.A. in the last 20 years. Enjoy!

What a brave woman! It makes me happy seeing a woman just going for it! Yay!
Love it and all Mexicans who are kind 😇

it really it!! I have felt that EVERY time I go there. It's been such a gift to me in this life.
We like Mexico, but give me a freeking break. It’s still not a place where you can trust many people, and the murder rate is still way too high.
I loved your video. Mexico and the majority of its people are touched by God for sure. Una tierra bendita!
Thank you. It's a wonderful country!

Aside from being happy, I believe your weight loss is also attributed to the fresh, hormone and preservative free food in Mexico. Every time I go vacation there, I lose weight even though I eat more there than I do in the United States. Plus, one tends to walk more there, too.
Agreed
I agree.. I think the food in America is designed to keep people overweight.. sadly. It's how they keep us sick and a repeat customer for big pharma.. so many other countries eat far better food than what the FDA 'approves' for us ☹️
Welcome to my beautiful Mexico. Anytime you need help, just ask for it. We have a saying here 'El que no habla, Dios no lo oye" (If you don't say it, God doesn't hear you), so, yeah, if help is needed, just ask as you did with your door lock issue. And finally, thanks for your service, not matter where you performed, here or there, people still people.
Oh thank you! People here are so gracious.
Excelente video, me encanto! Valoro mucho tu humildad y lo agradecida que eres. Take good care of yourself and your beautiful pets. Continue enjoying and learning about the beautiful culture of this beautiful country.
I will! Thank you for watching.
I was totally shocked when I was driving from my sisters in Chico, and went through the mountains and wound up with a flat tire, in a place with no cell signal and very low traffic area to say the least, some man was coming up the hill in a truck, and was able to help me and put on my donut tire, and i nursed it to the next town, where the tire shop did not have my size tires, so the one shop put more air in my donut, and I made it to the next town, where there was a tire shop, which I had a warranty with and they fixed it! always helps to have kind people!
If you can't change your own flat, you have no business owning / driving a car.
One of your best! Sums up this beautiful country and her lovely, kind people. Thank you.❤
Wow, thank you. Yes, beautiful country!
Very nice video, I am really enjoying your adventures coming to Mexico! I’m a retired MD who practiced in Chicago then moved to New Mexico to Hobbs then Las Cruces and thought I’d found the place to live and retire. I read some stories about Ajijic so I decided to visit here and boy did I fall in love! The flowers, the lake, the mountains were all it took to convince me to move here for my retirement! Added to this is the community of retired Americans and Canadians who offered support and advice on living here! There are a myriad of activities to keep you active and interested plus wonderful restaurants and spiritual groups of all denominations and even some for those with no religious beliefs! The tranquility will add years of stress free living to your life! Bienvenida y muchos años de felicidad y bienestar!
I'm so glad you like it there!
You look happy i Can tell, Mexico is the happier place to live.
I was born in Mexico and lived in the US for a long time . I keep going back and forth so I understand the feeling you're describing. I'm glad you found that .
Me too, thank you 🙂
Mora thank you so much for this wonderful video! I am also a RN and I have 7 more years left to retire but I am constantly thinking about selling my home here in California, taking my proceeds and my other savings and retiring early in Mexico! I have been watching many videos for many months and narrowed it down to 5 possible cities I might enjoy to live permanently. Part of me feels so stuck because of the amount of money I make and I feel so afraid to walk away knowing if I leave California, I’ll never be able to return to buy again as I would not be able to afford today what I bought 12 years ago . I also feel that I could just rent out my home while I live in Mexico to see if I’d like it and get a home job. I totally understand the stress and exhaustion from nursing. Thank you for this very inspiring video!
Thanks for your comment. I have a house in Oregon that I rented. If you get a good tenant it's a great idea. But I know how you feel because I was in the same state of mind before I got laid off. Life is short!
Thanks Mora. I’ve been thinking about renting to travel nurses and currently looking to find a remote position so I can one day rent in Mexico until I decide to buy again after I decide where’s the best fit! Thanks for sharing this information.
I’m a retired Respiratory Care Practitioner from California.
We contemplated renting out our house and renting in Mx.
Too much of a risk for us to rent our house out.
So we decided to sell.
We have been coming to Merida for a few years. Made friends here and love the peace and love we encountered here.
We sold fast and left California June 14th. Arrived in Merida to our Airbnb.
We are in the process of buying a house here and we know this is our spot.
We are thankful to be here with the beautiful people and enjoy the culture of Merida.
Welcome to México
Thanks for sharing. So happy for you. I fell in love with Mexico as well, especially its wonderful people and its amazing food. From what the U.S. media reports, you'd think it was nothing but a shooting gallery. But while problems are very real, that's an unfair and unrealistic portrayal of what life there is like from day to day for most people.
I agree. I put much more weight in peoples' recent experiences. I'm in beautiful Michoacan now. So far, so good :)
Thank you for sharing your story and your powerful message. I have lived in Mexico for 12 years and traveled to many places, kind people, adventure and joy.
When you talk of that friendliness and kindness of the people. It reminds me of how the US used to commonly be like. When I was youngster people would help out each other.

How I long for the days when people actually cared about one another enough to help out in times of difficulty. Where I live no-one cares about anyone: if you fainted in the street people would literally step over you! And how delightful to see proper shops where fishmongers sell fresh fish, butchers their fantastic meats and you go to a cheese store for your cheese and a market for vegetables. Such a lovely, peaceful and community-minded way of life that is dwindling as each year passes, sadly.
I feel just like you, I’m so frustrated with my job, but I have to stick it out for two more years, and I can’t wait. My wife and I are going to Oaxaca to explore, and look for a place to live. I’m Mexican, born in Mexico but my mother was a naturalized American citizen. For the past few years I’ve been having yearning to return to my roots, America has been good, but lately, with the political discourse that going on, I’m ready to leave this life of stress.

here for over 25 years. love the humility and sweet mayan culture. love the simpler life with abounding beauty all around me. oh yeh.. and i could not afford to live in USA anymore.
Lovely video! Well produced and I agree with how friendly and kind the people of Mexico are. I'm spending the summer in Jalisco as a student and tourist :)
That's wonderful. I have friends who are Latino and say they won't travel through Mexico because there are so many very dangerous areas. That correlates with what I have heard from other Hispanic people I have met through the years. I'm glad you have had good experiences thus far! Take care
Wonderful !!!
Thanks for sharing your experience traveling in México 🇲🇽
This exactly my dream, retire early and travel ASAP “THE MEXICAN DREAM” !!!
“Mi casa es su casa” always in México 🙏🏻
Congratulations for you and your beloved dogs, that I'm sure they are happy too and lost some pounds either ❤
Gracias for your comment. I'm afraid my girl Olive is getting a little chubby!
@@MoraMargaret Probably it is a sign of extreme happiness....
Hola 👋
So happy for You
A was born in San Diego Ca.worked for some years aferres my husban died… but never left Mexico
And I will stay
I go down to the Yucatán every year. The food is amazing and the locals I have encountered have all been kind.
hI JUST look for a costurera she will made some changes in your cloths and in Mexico that is not expensive, please ask before, what is the cost, cuanto cuesta. regards
I'm an American from Reno, Nevada. We've been living in Morelia, Michoacan for almost 4 years! It's been wonderful! I've never been victimized by ANY crime. We live famously on my social security alone. It's proven to be the best move ever!
That's awesome!
I will recommend you two small towns in Jalisco to visit, Iam sure you will love them: Tapalpa and Mazamitla for me are one of the most beautiful and Amazing places in Mexico, surrounded by a forest of pines and oaks is just great in raining season 🎉
Thanks for the tips! I've been to Mazamitla and I agree, it's lovely, and I hope to go back there and spend more time. Tapalpa I have yet to see :)
Mora thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences while in Mexico. You inspire me to visit Mexico without buying into the negative chatter from other people. May you continue to find love, peace and prosperity.
I appreciate that so much. Be aware that there are certain risks when it comes to Mexico. Thanks for watching!
Margaret, Thank you for sharing your Mexican experiences. Many Blessings and I enjoyed your video. 😊
Hola Mora! I'm glad you are in Mexico enjoying everything:the people's hospitality, the food, the climate, the peacefulness.....l'm from Veracruz, l'm 60 and been in Texas for 38 years and wishing to retire soon and start to really live and enjoy life like you. I love your stories, you deserve enjoying your life in México because your soul is mexican.❤
That's the first time I've been told that! Gracias! I hope you retire soon and enjoy every day :)
Excellent video. We moved to Mexico when I lost my job during the pandemic. I’m glad you are enjoying your time and didn’t believe the negative news you hear in the US.
First of all, the spirit of gratitude that you have, is clearly why you are having such positive experiences. I am a retired nurse, and I like you without even knowing you. Blessings to you always! Thanks for sharing this lovely video!
Thank you for your kind words!
Great video!... I can relate to you, I moved to a cute beach village in Sonora, people here are nice and very helpfull, I've never seen any violence or cartels people in the U,S. warned me about... For some reason U.S. officials dont want Americans moving to Mexico, and is not the violence. I've experienced more violence in the U,S and none in Mexico. So far so good.
So far so good!
