I've seen skillet so many times since 1996/1997! I saw them in a church in Neenah Wisconsin back when they had four guys in the band. Those were the early days.
I've been listening to Skillet since Awake came out and didn't know they were a Christian band until I saw them live and they talked about God and all. I'm not a religious person but I swear I love every single one of their songs

I totally agree! 10 years after being introduced to Skillet, this is the album that still means a lot to me now. Their other stuff is good, but it's harder to relate to now. This is timeless.

it's funny. everyone since skillets recent album came out (unleashed) said that they have returned to their roots. I re-listened to some of their songs and don't see the similarities between their older songs and their newer ones. I hear grunge not electronic.
