- Skillet´s song "Invincible" from album "Invincible". Requested by "SanctusLatro".
Old song but still very nice! Enjoy it!
Lyrics:
I, I'm invincible
I'm indestructible
It's my destiny
I, I'm invincible
I'm unshakeable
Through the truth in my soul
Chorus:
You know you just can't kill a man when he's dead
You know the spirit survives (invincible)
You can't stop the advance of the Kingdom to come
You know the truth is alive (invincible)
To be invincible
Is unattainable
Without sacrifice
Feel, feel the birth inside
The life that cannot die
Are you invincible
CHORUS
Invincible-Invincible
You know you can't kill a man when he´s dead
You know you can't
CHORUS (repeat)
You know you can't kill a man when he's dead Видеоклипы
It's hard to even FIND this song anymore thanks to their new single
right!
ikr
Same!
midnightstrike3625 and what’s even worse this song is better than the new one
relatable
so, i was at a liveshow last weekend and somebody in the crowd yelled INVINCIBLE!
and John was all like, you really like to go oldschool, dontcha? that was cool :P
They should really do some older songs live. Some of them were awesome.
True Drake you were at tilburg on 18th of october^^?
TM_Skillet pretty sure it was the 18th yeah. at 013?
True Drake guess who was the guy who shouted INVINCIBLE ^^
TM_Skillet it was you, wasn;t it?
cause if so, you, good sir, you are a LEGEND!!!
I'm from the future, it's even worse. They made "Feel Like A Monster" too. Nigh impossible to find Monster now too.
Lel
Solution: just mention the album name or the year when it came out :D
Really? It's hard to find?
"You know you just can't kill a man when he's dead, you know the spirit survives" - Skillet 2009
this was from 2000
Colin Miller but the video was uploaded in 2009
I know, the video is from 2009 but the song is from 2000
Don't wake me
I read that right as the lyric appeared.
"You know you just can't kill a man when he's dead" .... So deep....
Ah The Classic Invincible Song
I miss the thick cyberpunk influence from Invincible and Alien Youth. These two albums really stuck with me when I listened to them as a kid. I'd even go as far to say that they were industrial back in these days. Gotta' love this stuff.
It's the song that may end up being forgotten. (Edited: talking about it being overshadowed by "Feel Invincible")
Never!!
Never it's great!
Nope!
Huh is this really Skillet? They sound so different and this voice too
This song was made in 2000
+Linkin Park fan This was their third album, they went from grunge to electric to metal to nu metal.
Edit: I forgot to add punk and industrial rock.
uhhmmm whats their punk song?
1996-1997 - Grunge
1998-2002 - Industrial
2003-2005 - Nu metal
2006-present - rock
They were never metal or nu metal.....
OMG THAT INTRO MADE ME JUMP 😂
2000: Invincible
2016: Feel Invincible
Did they just forget they had a song with that title?
one of the best christian bands in my opinion
YOU KNOW CAN'T JUST KILL A MAN WHEN HE'S DEAD!!! YOU KNOW HIS SPIRIT SURVIVES!! -This will play at my funeral. For real.
how come I can't find this song anymore!?
alwz smiile it's because of new single called Feel Invincible
i dont understand how people can give this a thumb down, its amazing
Has anyone else gotten vibes from this song as the result of their new single, "Feel Invincible", or is it just me?
+Spencer Blair love?
I remember them playing this song at a church I went to. Gosh that had to be about 11 years ago! Still listening to them in 2013 :) I love Skillet new and old, they just keep rocking.
the thing i love about skillet the most is they're christian, and it's music i want to listen to all the time! thumbs up anyone?
I met Skillet before hardly anyone knew who they were. It's nice to hear this song again.
these lyrics express a big truth of life
🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Skillet... the most under rated band ever !
Jesus.
What about him?
I get you
Feel invincible: exists
Invincible: am I a joke to you?
In all seriousness tho, I love both songs
this is how were supposed to feel in the battle between God and Demon, Invincible.
And God will always win if you let him.
The spiritual war
Tfk is thousand foot krutch. I remember when this album came out man that was long time ago. I like how skillet's sound has evolved so much but you can still feel the passion behind it.
Love between people is fragile, but I think the overall concept of love is invincible.
0:53 its been 2000 years.
I can't find a nightcore version of this anywhere on RUclips :c
Before I saw this I had to sit through that Clint Eastwood Chrysler Super Bowl ad and I never noticed how much the ad and this song go together.
How about "thumbs up if you dont fucking care what religion someone follows, we're all connected by music, no matter what we believe, it's about what we feel?"
how the heck do u get here and just start an argument over sht that has nothing to do with the music
17 years and this song is still golden
Good music belongs to no religion, race or colour. Good music crosses all boundaries.
You can’t be serious. I’ve for real been looking for this song for about a decade and this whole time it was a skillet song? I feel like an idiot….
this is my favorite skillet song they ever made
que gran cancion
When someone jokes about you 3:35
dis song makes me dance like a robot!! am i the only one?? :O
love dis song!! \m/
How to start a fight on the internet:
1. State your opinion
2. Wait
Sounds like Nine Inch Nails xP
skillet should play all their songs again from this era, and not just from awake and comatose (dont get me wrong, comatose and awake are epic albums, but self title, hey you i love your soul, invincible, alien youth, and collide deserve the same notoriety too!)
Oh yeah this song is catchy! *dances*
How could you hate any Skillet songs!?!??!?! They're all EPIC! I know this was like a month ago but I thought I'd reply anywho.
@VoidedNote what type of book is it
(1)I think it's pretty obvious how turning to other people would prevent war. War is caused by people not getting along, whether through their ideals or competition for resources. If we helped each other instead of fighting, no war. Simple and beautiful, no divine intervention needed. Change is within the human spirit, and that includes positive change like respecting all races and genders and recognizing the physical balances of the world that we can and have thrown off.
Not to mention obsession; I've had a few incidents of being stalked and MANY of their lyrics sound like flowery versions of what they would say, and sometimes basically word-for-word. If those lyrics are about God they depict an unhealthy and potentially terrifying relationship. Only, the whole point is that he accepts everyone and spurns no one. No one else would love you so readily with zero chance of hurt. The ultimate fantasy of truly unconditional love and acceptance.
@supahmii bull, i didn't post this at all when i first read it.............ONE MONTH AGO!! SO MUCH FOR IT WORKING
Hell yeah!! I'm an Argonian and I love skillet!!!
this song and earth invasion have similar lyrics (cant stop the advancing of the kingdom to come) (and every day the kingdom is advancing) that is freaky ^.^
I was addicted to this song in 2009-2010!
+Lastrevio
Ok most likely it was 2011.
+Lastrevio LOL! That just made me feel sooo old! I was addicted to in 2000. OMGOSH! LOL
Rocki Simmons Haha I wasn't even born then yet.
Lastrevio I wasn't born in 2000 either
Love Skillet, awsomest band ever. Amazing music. Now if only I can convince one of my firneds that there is an actual skillet and ther isnt only a skrillex. .. . . >.>
This is skillet guys. Its one of their earleyer songs
Todas as músicas dessa banda são ótimas.
Escuto todos os dias :D
i'm not a christian, i just enjoy listening to skillet.
@Number1percyfan i just realized i said "was" when I meant to say "has". FAIL
This person speaks truth.
This song is to Darth Vader. 😍
Nah. . . It's for Optimus Prime!!!! XD
*Voice of Luke* NOOOOOOOOOOO T_T
HAHAHAHA! >.< All joking aside, the first time I heard this song was in one of the coolest fan-made tribute videos I've ever seen, dedicated to one of the (as writer David Wise put it): "Greatest Leader Characters ever created!" Of course I don't think he'd be quite as beloved were it not for the unique voice talents of the one and only Peter Cullen! :D Unfortunately the video seems to have disappeared from cyberspace. :(
I don’t understand some sentence in your text, because i’m french😅
Me, i heard this song for the first time in a fanmade of Star Wars, that’s why i said this song is for Darth Vader 😉
Big Brother. Have you tried Google Translate? Sometimes it works but certain phrases get lost in translation. Peace! :)
@pengo1998 did you just not watch the video or read the first line of the description.....?
Dang. Talk about bad ass, motivational, songs.
I ABSOLUTELKY LOVE SKILLET!!!
I knew. But the song makes so little sense it had to be about something extremely specific, and when I thought about it a bit, there was really only one person who could get away with "You can't kill me if I'm dead, my spirit goes on."
You can't kill an idea, as they say.
i've been looking for this song in 2012 now i found it :D
@wendynevan whats TFK?never heard of em
Finding this is a pain nowdays
It's funny how that happens. To me, "Comatose" (album) especially contains a lot of heartache and desperation.
Floop?
i love all of their songs!!!....
A song about being invincible needs to be more motivational. Disturbed did a amazing job at that with Indestructible
Love this song.
man that really old albelm of invcuncible man they look so diffrent now wow time flys when you think of it they were with me when my girl freind died and when everything went to shit when I went 16 all hell went loose and now I'm 17 and a happy person that's moved on becase of skilliet god bless you skillt and thanks for changing my life I needed it so much.
not sure what someone who believes in science-related causes for the world being created would be called as a religion, Im guessing scientology or something like that.
But I LOVE THIS BAND!
Finally i find it
I dont know what your talking about. ive been listening to skillet since i was younger. (im 15)
I have this album. Its skillet. older song. probally 2001-2002 i think.
DANGIT! why cant i find a single bad skillet song?!
(3) lived on an island where small muscles were best, and became isolated from the big-muscle families, then you would have an island of small-muscled people. Magnify these changes and imagine how many other changes would happen in the same way over the course of thousands of generations. When the Big Muscles finally meet the Small Muscles again, their respective DNA codes have probably changed so much that they can no longer produce offspring together. DNA staying the same forever is weird.
AT LAST i found it!!! I've been searching for this song for so long... man 2011-12 was when i first heard it and loved it so much. Can't believe i finally found it.
This song is amazing!!! It’s actually one of my fave skillet songs, unfortunately “feel invincible” is the only thing that really comes up when we try to search for this song now
ikr!!!!
whispers in the dark is my fav! but its a tough pick between all their songs.
One of my favorite Gym Tracks and Bands ♥
O.o Without a comma there, that looks like something different entirely...
I know this song is about Jesus Christ, but it makes me think of Kamina from Gurren Lagann. "You know you just can't kill a man when he's dead. You know the spirit survives."
WTF!!!! THIS SONG IS BY SKILLET?! >:O INSANE!!!! HIS VOICE IS TOTALLY NOT THAT HIGH!!!
It's not even about atheists, it's about people who are not Atheists that get away with complaining because they're not Atheists.
I don't quite like the style of this song, but I enjoy the lyrics, and its skillet's song, so I'll just let John write what he wants lol
skillet=best rock band ever
just because it's your favorite song doesn't mean that it has to be everyone else's... there's nothing wrong with someone if they have their own opinion. -_-
sweetums
how can you hate monster? its one of their best songs
i love this song it makes me happy because it makes me less scared of death no joke
@meeleaa RED is a band that opened for skillet on most if not all of the concerts for the awake and alive tour
Yeah- finally i found this!!!
lol i love this song
its my fave
whos the singer is hes different
(6) This is so long, I'm sorry. After I became an atheist, I still talked to my stuffed animals as friends if my mom yelled at me or something. Even at that age I knew they couldn't actually talk or listen, but the comfort of that feeling is just craved worldwide. I get, believe me, I get it, but also believe me when I say if we had turned to other people instead of religion we'd have had a lot less war and a LOT more cultural, scientific, and societal progress. We need that to be a lesson.
I love this song and just about any other song from Skillet... ooh cashews
thats a really old joke jeez and its now 55 dis i like
@ddorianisme i could also mean oh my gosh thats how i choose to take it weather thats what they intend or not
skillet's songs = invincible!!!! =o
@ejrade im not gonna lie,the song monster was how i found skillet and it was my number 1. But now sense i started listening to their music, its hard to say which song i like best.
