    The 300S is a quick ride. We had a 13’ 300S AWD and that thing would get up and go. It was heavy but well planted. The 5.7ltr had plenty of power. We upgraded the brakes because from the factory that was one area it was lacking big time. Outside of that, I can see how with the right driver, a 300S, even with the smaller V6, can get away.

    • @Ward413
      @Ward413 2 года назад +17

      Most on-duty cop deaths are from traffic accidents - not from felonious assault as many believe - and it’s because many of them just can’t drive for shit. Even if you’re the best driver in the world, if a civilian simply cuts off your line at the last second, you’d be fucked. That could have happened dozens of times during this video.
      This is why so many departments just don’t engage in pursuits like this anymore. You risk the cops life and the life of the public. They already got his plate anyway. If someone is wanted for murder or they may harm others, then I get it. But a lot of times they’re chasing people going 130mph weaving in and out of traffic for a guy wanted on a traffic warrant. It’s just dumb for everyone.

    Let us all have an honest conversation about these pursuits: who's putting the lives of the people at risk, between the cop and the runner? I say the cop. Why? Because people, who are already distracted by either being on the phone or listening to music, unaware of a chase going on, are trying to get outta his way. On the other hand, people aren't trying to get outta the way of the runner. These chases are ridiculous. All they need to do, is get close enough to take a picture of the license plate and meet him later at his home, with cuffs.

    I love the Chrysler 300’s they’re very underrated and what makes them good well mainly the 5.7 is they can put all of the power down and utilize it me and the wife have a 2007 300c and we absolutely love it and it’s stock and it will definitely fool some of the cars that’s lighter

    Say what you want about Chrysler products but I’ve had three dodge chargers two of them were SRT eights , one was was an RT two 300 C’s one Awd, and one Town and Country, I’ve never had any major problems out of any of my Chrysler’s/Dodge’s i’ve owned 40 cars in my lifetime so far and the
    Chrysler products were the best out of them all best Chase I’ve ever seen I think the cop was a little reckless chasing him at 140 miles per on public highways and streets but that charger was hunting him down the 5.7 Hemi is a very underrated / Underappreciated engine, In my opinion.
