I had a cop yell at me like that once. I was 16 on my way to school and my windows were fogged. I asked my friend in the passenger seat if the road was clear to pull out into traffic. He said yes so I pulled out DIRECTLY in front of a motorcycle cop. He locked up his rear tire and slid passed the front of my car. He made me pull over into a 7-11 parking lot and SAID SOME THINGS THAT MADE SATAN BLUSH. Then he got on his bike and left. I'm now 50yrs old...I still look to make sure the lane is clear before I pull into traffic. I've never had an at-fault accident. That was policing.

A Mass trooper claimed he had to pursue me at high speeds when he pulled me over in the left lane. He screamed at me for not immediately pulling over because I switched to the right lane first. A NH trooper once searched me claiming that I was highly suspicious for going the speed limit in a place where people typically go much faster. I never had problems with troopers in ME, VT, CT or RI.

Ohhhhh man, one of the many MANY reasons I moved away from CT. I grew up there and was hassled several times. In the 11 years since I left I have been pulled over maybe 3 times, always approached with an "I'm sorry to bother you sir..." and not once gotten a ticket. Oh yeah except one time I was passing through CT on a trip, got pulled over for essentially looking at him funny, he made up the biggest story he could to make the ticket more expensive but it ended up being some technical offense that couldn't have possibly happened on a roadway. I looked up and studied the statute I was cited with, printed it out and brought it court plain as day innocent based on the actual law. The prosecutor looked at it and nodded, then said "yeah I understand, but I don't care. You still have to pay or I can tack on some extra charges if you want. You can go to trial and you might win but I see you don't live here, you'll have to take even more time off work and you don't look like you can afford that, so it would be cheaper if you just paid the fine". I said some choice words, told them they were essentially robbing me and all I heard was a chuckle, dirty scumbags. That whole state is nothing but crooked \

A Mass trooper claimed he had to pursue me at high speeds when he pulled me over in the left lane. He screamed at me for not immediately pulling over because I switched to the right lane first.
A NH trooper once searched me claiming that I was highly suspicious for going the speed limit in a place where people typically go much faster.
I never had problems with troopers in ME, VT, CT or RI.

The majority of State Troopers I’ve encountered were completely professional and well trained. This guy has 14 months till retirement and sounds as though it’s taken its toll.
He will get a job working as a town cop or armed school security guard after retirement. He needs to not carry a firearm or have power over anyone.

Ohhhhh man, one of the many MANY reasons I moved away from CT. I grew up there and was hassled several times. In the 11 years since I left I have been pulled over maybe 3 times, always approached with an "I'm sorry to bother you sir..." and not once gotten a ticket. Oh yeah except one time I was passing through CT on a trip, got pulled over for essentially looking at him funny, he made up the biggest story he could to make the ticket more expensive but it ended up being some technical offense that couldn't have possibly happened on a roadway. I looked up and studied the statute I was cited with, printed it out and brought it court plain as day innocent based on the actual law. The prosecutor looked at it and nodded, then said "yeah I understand, but I don't care. You still have to pay or I can tack on some extra charges if you want. You can go to trial and you might win but I see you don't live here, you'll have to take even more time off work and you don't look like you can afford that, so it would be cheaper if you just paid the fine". I said some choice words, told them they were essentially robbing me and all I heard was a chuckle, dirty scumbags. That whole state is nothing but crooked \
