@Jordan Gjerde-- Adam's actually learning to apply acrylic nails right now. He is going to be in a contest about a month from now with a man who created a booking app for nail techs/cosmetologists. Each of the gents are going to put a set of acrylic nails on one of Kirsty's hands and then Kirsty will judge which set is better when they are finished. Of course, I'm rooting for Adam! But then, I adore Adam. He and Kirsty (and their families) will be the very first stop in my around the world tour if I ever win the lottery. LOL!
id be interested to see the differences between polygel, builder gel in a bottle and regular building gel and the pros and cons between them as well as differences in application
Have used similar products for several months to grow natural nails. Can infill when there is grow out. Nails are very long. They aren't perfected like nails done with tips or extensions. The product creates a C curve and a C curve can be bent in by holding the nail after it is pulled out of the lamp. Two coats of bonder prevents lifting and don't be shy of using the bonder with the infill. The natural nail is left under the product and when shortening just use your efile to shorten and remove extra bulk from the apex and rebalance the nail. Still love the salon acrylic and gel nails too.
This product is a god send for newbies who have very week nails as I do cuz you can use this then add whatever’s your trying to perfect over the top and not damage your natural nails.
Notes for Adam: (a) you need a mic of your own! (b) could you lower the volume for the intro/outro music just a bit? It can be a killer for head phone wearers. Thanks, mate!
Afternoon Kirsty just have a few questions for you on this product? 1) does it soak off like gel polish? 2) could it be used if someone who has gel polish but has a split could this be used to support that nail why growing out? 3) would this be a product you infill? 4) how much would you roughly charge for this as a service 5) would you recommend buffing it every time to smooth out or once you have removed the sticky layer can you put gel straight on top? Absolutely love your work, and really enjoy watching your videos. Hope you feel better soon Sammi Xx
Very good questions indeed. I'm wondering the same thing. I wonder if it can be used to build a small extension to the nail like some other builders I've seen.
It’s a builder gel so, yeh you can use it to add length. Also on the website it states it as well. You would build the nail first then take off sticky layer before buffing it out. No need to buff each layer. It’s just like the kinds u find in a lil jar but in a bottle with it’s own brush for convenience. Seems perfect for my thin flexible nails.
I've got mine today and am so glad I've done it the same way as you 😊 Easy to work with and I like the viscosity. Love Urban Graffiti products 😍 Thank you for sharing 😘
I’d say that you should focus on one specific part of nails and take a course in that to really perfect your art. From experience it’s much easier to get clients who see you are really great, say, at acrylic nails rather than being just okay doing every service. If you are in the uk then no courses are necessary and you could learn to do nails really well through watching RUclips videos tbh if you are trying to keep expenses down! The best way to start up would be to work alongside a full time job and as you gain traction go part time, then stop the job completely as your client base builds up. For essentials I’d say lots of files, lots of polish, glitter, and pink white and clear acrylic/gel. Buying in bulk is pricey at first but pays off massively. Get yourself a decent gel lamp, acetone and acid primer. Also try and stick to the same brands as the products work much better together. Hope this helps x
, I'm looking into doing a nail tech course in the UK too. Thank you Ella Carboni for the advise, l want to be able to do both Acrylics & Gel nails & strive to be good at both. I also want to do nail art very well as I'm good at art on a canvas so with much smaller canvas's (nails), I shall be practicing as much as I can. Good luck to everyone who is just beginning a journey of becoming a nail tech 😊
I'm definitely going to check this product out. I love having my nails done and having longer nails, but I have paper thin nails because I'm a swimmer, so I'm definitely going to look into this more!!
This is such a natural color and finish, I think a lot of guys would appreciate having it applied to their nails, except have a matte top coat to complete the polished look. Adam, perhaps you could be the first on-camera guy to try this product and let us know how you feel about it.
Cheyne why wouldn’t they? Men like to have nice nails too. My husband gets a manicure at the salon once a month as he likes his nails to look neat and well kept as he is high up within his company so has to meet with important clients. Some Men, whether gay or straight simply like to have nice nails and this would look great as the original commenter stater with a matte top coat.
Leanne Nelson So you can’t tell someone of the same sex/gender that they look good without having to state you’re straight or the «no homo» comment? Jeeze. What’s wrong with this world...
Hi Kristi I hope you get over your chest cold and get to feeling better soon..And your make up looks great I love how you did that and of course love the hair color..And these nails look fabulous and easy to use tyfs.. have a great day thanks
Hola!!!! Amo ver tus vídeos, no entiendo lo que dices porque no hablo inglés pero me fascina ver tu trabajo, amo todos los productos que usas, saludos soy de Los Mochis, Sinaloa, México.
So I’ve watched this video twice and now I’m the proud owner of two bottles of the bed of roses, some gel residue wipe off solution, nail forms, and a pinching tool. 😆
Omd’s thank you Kirsty I’ve recently purchased a builder gel from a different company and I never knew you had to remove the sticky layer this makes so much sense I will be looking to get some of those colours from the naio website soon 😫🙌🏼
This is great. I'm currently growing my super thin nails out and I've been using acrygel as an overlay. I'm definitely trying this as well now, I hope I won't make a mess out of it tho😄💗
I would love to see more videos on this! I wanted to buy builder gel from naio but there were only a couple weird colours (like dark brown) on the site for aaaages. I am looking forward to trying this. I see another cheeky order in my future
Fabulous that's perfect for you football or soccer or football you color over there. I wish I could do that I am allergic to something and anyway well I have cancer anyway so I can't even use tips on my nails anymore I have to keep him long or everything just split wide open. In the United States women and hospitals and nurses are not allowed to even wear nail polish over here now. Because of staph infection they can carry it from one patient to another they say so I should know I was just in the hospital with full septic shock didn't even know I was sick besides cancer so I guess it's common. What a bummer I lost a whole month or more love you Christy I'm keep watching you as long as I can if you're ever in North Idaho USA stop and see me bring the kids I'll cook for you and you can do my nails that is my bucket list one of my bucket list things. Thank you as always
I put builder in a bottle on my right hand yesterday afternoon then overnight I bit it all off! The things you do when you’re half asleep 😴😂 and I bit my nails, gutted!
Is this any different, product wise, to getting a tub of builder & a brush? Even if its not, it still seems easier/more accessible to a regular person...even though it’s probably the same?!
Hi Kirsty I love this - you mentioned that it is good for growing your natural nails. Mine are super thin and sheer off and crack really easily and are ridged due to health issues. would this be good for me to use rather than acrylic
I have paper thin nails and I do have length what I usually end up doing is regular polish about 7-10 coats just so they won’t break. Other than this product all the time what else can you recommend
Dovrebbero essere interessanti provali bel video come sempre spero di riuscire a provarli un giorno questi prodotti per ora non posso ti seguo sempre sei stupenda
yo quiero usar tus productos me encantan amo tus videos bendiciones gracias por compartir eh aprendido mucho contigo aunque no se tú idioma💔💅🇲🇽 espero pronto los mandes a Mexico 😘💃
I really appreciate how Adam takes time to ask questions probably a lot of people watching have and is genuinely interested in the technique
Jordan Gjerde he did ask some really good questions !
Yep I agree = )
Right on he asks questions exactly about the video subject, hats off to ADAM
yes! its like hes reading my mind through the computer screen

Adam is low-key becoming an expert.

Received mine today! I’ve just done an overlay on my natural nails and it’s amazing stuff! So easy to apply! The Rose Quartz colour is lovely too!!
Your videos are great…you have a great personality for these instructional videos…thanks ☺️
So clever. As soon as I've used up my acrylic I think I'll try this next. So easy if you're in a rush or you're trying to grow out your nails.
Notes for Adam:
(a) you need a mic of your own!
(b) could you lower the volume for the intro/outro music just a bit? It can be a killer for head phone wearers.
Thanks, mate!
👍
Yeah Adam, dido
Agreed. Also the background music is hella distracting.

Good questions!! Hope they answer them ;-)
Very good questions indeed. I'm wondering the same thing. I wonder if it can be used to build a small extension to the nail like some other builders I've seen.
this is a soak off product. it’s a soft gel.
Most other builder gels in a bottle are soak-off and since this uses the Urban Graffiti Base Coat and Top Coat I'm going to guess it's a soak-off gel.
It’s a builder gel so, yeh you can use it to add length. Also on the website it states it as well. You would build the nail first then take off sticky layer before buffing it out. You look so pretty with your hair pulled back! 😍
This makes your nails look SO healthy and polished. Such a classy look.
Hi lovely lady. I'm new to builder in a bottle and found this video fabulous. Thank you I'll be watching ever video from now on. 😊
Can we please have a video using this for extensions, possibly with tips??
Adam will be an awesome Nail Tech with all the knowledge he has gained over the years. He asks the questions we have in our heads when watching lol
Yes!!! So glad you came out with a builder gel. Can’t wait to see more videos with the gel!!
I must say that I am a newly licensed nail tech and THIS is awesome because they DID NOT teach this in school so thaaank yaaahh soo mach !!
Kirstie's eyebrows are amazing! Plus I love that the builder is in a bottle and not a tube
Doris Veronica Eriksson I absolutely love her makeup and eyebrows all the time!
I've got mine today and am so glad I've done it the same way as you 😊 Easy to work with and I like the viscosity. Love Urban Graffiti products 😍 Thank you for sharing 😘
Those look so natural. I love your t-shirt i have the same one from primark. Love a bit of Dirty Dancing.
Thank you Kirsty & Adam so much for your time, the information is really valuable to us all who watch your video's. I'm addicted to them. 😂😂😂
That looks so natural. What a great product.
Can you please do a video of advice for start-up nail techs? Kit essentials, courses worth taking etc? Xx
This would be really helpful as I'm looking into it too x

That looks a great product for us with brittle nails 💖
I'm definitely going to check this product out. I love having my nails done and having longer nails, but I have paper thin nails because I'm a swimmer, so I'm definitely going to look into this more!!
Adam, you should totally do Hailey's nails!!It was so sweet of you to think of this as being a great product for her!!
This is such a natural color and finish, I think a lot of guys would appreciate having it applied to their nails, except have a matte top coat to complete the polished look. Adam, perhaps you could be the first on-camera guy to try this product and let us know how you feel about it.
Cynthia Webber why would they want to do that?
Cheyne why wouldn’t they? Men like to have nice nails too. @@MissMarie1377 Many business men like to have manicured hands, especially if their nails are a bit on the dry/brittle side.
Emma Weaver but hard gel is like acrylic. I think it’s very different than a manicure because after 2-3 weeks there’s that new growth...
Sympathy sent! Chest infections are the worst. I’m so sorry! HOWEVER, that hair is gorgeous!!! And for being sick you look amazing as always!
Straight woman here but looking especially gorgeous in this vid Kirsty! New product looks amazing too
Leanne Nelson So you can’t tell someone of the same sex/gender that they look good without having to state you’re straight or the «no homo» comment? Jeeze. What’s wrong with this world...
Thank you so much for this lesson. And telling what you are using. You are awesome! You have a new fan.

I enjoy that get walls are filled up with polishes
Love your new hair colours Kirsty 😍
Ooooh, can't wait to see what else you do with this product!
Awww hugs and kisses. Hope you get well soon Kirstyyyyy 💕
Is it a strong enough product for nail extensions? Eg. To a 1 or 2 on a form. Or longer?
You should be able to use the builder in a bottle for short extensions, but I don‘t think that it would work with longer ones.
AAAAA YOUR HAIR LOOKS AMAZING
Omd’s thank you Kirsty I’ve recently purchased a builder gel from a different company and I never knew you had to remove the sticky layer this makes so much sense I will be looking to get some of those colours from the naio website soon 😫🙌🏼
I really like this new product and it comes in so many shades 😍
A must have!
This is great. I'm currently growing my super thin nails out and I've been using acrygel as an overlay. I'm definitely trying this as well now, I hope I won't make a mess out of it tho😄💗

I put builder in a bottle on my right hand yesterday afternoon then overnight I bit it all off! The things you do when you’re half asleep 😴😂 and I bit my nails, gutted!

Hi Kirsty I love this - you mentioned that it is good for growing your natural nails. Mine are super thin and sheer off and crack really easily and are ridged due to health issues. would this be good for me to use rather than acrylic
Tania Godwin-Evans this is perfect for thin flexible nails
Hope you feel better 😊
Thanks Kirsty 💗💗💗
The answer to my prayers 🙏😉
Do you have an biab infill tutorial anywhere I can watch?
Thank you
I have paper thin nails and I do have length what I usually end up doing is regular polish about 7-10 coats just so they won’t break. Other than this product all the time what else can you recommend
What nail lamp do you recommend for curing builder gel? 😊
It feels weird not seeing your hands with long detailed nails... those look cute though
Hope you feel better soon x
You’re t-shirt!! 😍👌
Love your hair!
Dovrebbero essere interessanti provali bel video come sempre spero di riuscire a provarli un giorno questi prodotti per ora non posso ti seguo sempre sei stupenda
Do they no longer ship to the US? I can’t find a site...
Same!
yo quiero usar tus productos me encantan amo tus videos bendiciones gracias por compartir eh aprendido mucho contigo aunque no se tú idioma💔💅🇲🇽 espero pronto los mandes a Mexico 😘💃
Hark at Adam knowing his stuff! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Feel better soon!!
I love your videos and I'm inspired to do nails I just cant a fort all the things I need to get started
You make it look so easy. You should make a video of Adam using it
Do you have to file and buff them or can you just wipe the sticky layer and topcoat
Can this be applied like regular gel nail polish, instead of the side to side motion just to give your own natural nails some strength?
Your hair is gorgeous ..🧜🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️hair
